Gomamon WIP 3: Final head pattern and embroidery test (Patreon)

ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL
Hello everybunny! Today we have a new Gomamon WIP 😃
If you remember, in the last post we showed you the first embroidery test still hooped. We sewed that test, but there were several mistakes that made us work quickly on the next test.
When machine sewing the muzzle to the head, it got super deformed, specially in the lower part of the head. Moshi fabric is super stretchy so a small change in the pattern can make a huge difference when sewn. The lower jaw was too big, his head looked like a bean hahaha. There were also small mistakes with the eye size and rotation, but that could be easily changed in the next test.
So in order to get the shape we wanted, we decided to hand sew the muzzle like in the first tests. It would be possible to make it machine sewn, but it would need way too many tests to get it right and machine sewing such a small piece is very complex. We just think it's too difficult, it's not worth the time and effort. We will still leave the position marks for hand sewing of course ^^
And now, with the changes in the embroidery and pattern, we have the final head test! It looks adorable, we want to squish it so badly 🥺 The cheeks are slighlty marked, the muzzle pops out just enough and the embroidery is faithful to its design.
With this we can make the final head with the right colors, and add the ears and hair without problem. Though we may work on the body pattern first.
What do you think= Are you excited to see it finished already? ^w^
----ESPAÑOL----
Hello everybunny!
