Hello everybunny! We hope you are enjoying your Weekend ^^

Today's post will be short, but we couldn't wait to write it. And it's because we FINALLY finished all the Loddle plushies!! 52 colorful axolotls ready to be shipped to their new homes 💜

The truth is that this project has been way harder than we expeted. In one hand, our move got in the middle, and we had to reorganize our work plans. On the other hand, we understimated how much work they would be. They were "simple" plushies and we didn't take that much to make one, so we thought we could make 52 in just a couple of months. But they had way more work that we had to do while also working on comissions and Patreon. Every custom embroidery with different colors, sewing the 4 antennas by hand, sewing them and the tail to the body... It was mentally, but specially physically exhausting. In fact, both of us have developed chronic wrist and hand joints pain from forcing them so much to meed the deadlines. This was not the customer's fault, of course, but we have to learn to be honest and ask for more time if we need it.We're better now, because we got compression gloves and they have helped us both so much to work on the last Loddles. We also promise we will take a rest these next days to recover completely ^^Despite that, it's been great to be able to work in an indie project so special. We hope the customers like the plushies as much as us.

We have been discussing about these kind of projects for companies we make. And, at least for a long while, we won't take any more projects like this one. We will only accept making prototypes for mass production or unique plushies like we did with Poppy Playtime. At the end we are only 2 persons and we're not in a place to take such big and constant amounts of work that is making plushies in big batches. We hope any future clients understand it ><

Again, this is not the end of collabs with indie companies! We will just focus on a different kind of work with them. In fact, we're already organizing a VERY special and secret one~You will know more about it in the future.

Now that we have finished the Loddles, we will focus on catching up with owed plush rewards and pending commissions. Once we have cleared those a bit, we will start working on the beetle patterns.

Hello everybunny! Esperamos que estéis teniendo un buen fin de semana ^^

El post de hoy va a ser cortito, pero teníamos muchas ganas de hacerlo. Y es que POR FIN hemos terminado todos los peluches de Loddle!! 52 ajolotes de colores están listos para ser enviados a sus nuevos hogares 💜

La verdad es que este proyecto ha sido mucho más duro de lo que esperábamos. Por un lado, se juntó con nuestra mudanza y organizarnos para trabajar en todos nuestros proyectos a la vez. Por otro lado, subestimamos el trabajo que tenían. Como los veíamos "sencillos" y que no tardábamos demasiado en hacer uno, creímos que podríamos hacer 52 en solo un par de meses. Pero era muchísimo trabajo a compaginar con encargos y Patreon. Hacer cada bordado personalizado de colores, hacer las 4 antenas a mano de cada uno, coserlas al cuerpo, la cola... Era agotador mentalmente, pero sobre todo físicamente. De hecho, ambas hemos empezado a tener dolores en la muñeca y mano de tanto forzarlas por la presión de tenerlos a tiempo. Esto no fue culpa de los clientes, claro, pero tenemos que aprender a ser sinceras y pedir más tiempo desde el principio si es necesario.Ahora estamos mejor, porque nos hemos comprado unos guantes de compresión y la verdad es que se nota mucho al trabajar en los últimos Loddle. También os prometemos que los próximos días iremos haciendo descansos para recuperar la salud ^^Aún así, ha sido bonito participar una vez más en un proyecto indie tan especial. Ojalá les encante tanto como a nosotras el resultado.

Lo que sí hemos estado reflexionando y pensando sobre estos proyectos para empresas que hacemos. Y, al menos por un gran tiempo, no vamos a hacer más proyectos así. Solo aceptaremos hacer un prototipo para replicar en fábrica o un peluche único como hicimos con Poppy Playtime. Al final somos solo 2 personas y no estamos en un momento en el que podamos cargarnos con cantidades de trabajo tan grandes y constantes como hacer lotes de peluches. Esperamos que lo entiendan las futuras empresas ><

De nuevo, este no es el final trabajando con empresas indie! Solo que vamos a enfocarnos en otro estilo de encargos. De hecho, ya estamos organizándonos con una MUY especial y secreta de momento ~ ya sabréis más en el futuro

Ahora sí, terminados los Loddle, vamos a centrarnos en ponernos al día de recompensas atrasadas de peluches y los encargos pendientes. Cuando hayamos adelantado eso, también empezaremos con los patrones de los escarabajos.
