Beetles WIP 1: Plush study (Patreon)

Hello everybunny!The year is almost over. We hope you enjoyed your Holidays and that 2025 starts in the best way for you 💜For us, this Christmas has been weird due to family stuff, but we're okay now and ready to start the year with new energies!

We want to say goodbye to the year by showing that we are already working on the next pattern reward. It's time for the humanoid beetles! And of course, we have started with the most important thihng; making ourselves good references. At the end, the drawing we posted was just a sketch that didn't show the shapes and proportions right, so we designed the front and side views.

For these designs we wanted the body and limbs to be the same in both plushies, just changing the head pattern.So we made the body with a base compatible with both heads even if they are so different. The only thing that will basically change between them is the neck seam.

Also, we designed the arms and legs planning for them to be able to get different poses just by sewing them rotated. Finally, they will have different eye expressions. This way you can make them with the expression you prefer ^^

Hello everybunny!El año está a punto de terminar. Esperamos que hayáis pasado unas buenas fiestas y empecéis vuestro 2025 de la mejor manera posible 💜Por nuestra parte, ha sido una Navidad un poco extraña por temas familiares, pero ahora estamos bien y listas para empezar con nuevas energías!

Queremos despedir el año con un último post enseñándoos que ya estamos trabajando en la siguiente recompensa de patrones. Le llega el turno a nuestros escarabajos humanoides! Y como no, empezamos con lo más importante, hacernos unas buenas referencias. Al final, el esbozo que subimos estaba muy en sucio y no se veían bien las piezas y formas, así que nos pusimos a diseñarlos de frente y de lado.

Para estos diseños queríamos que el cuerpo y extremidades sean las mismas en ambos peluches, que solo cambie el patrón de la cabeza.Así que hicimos el cuerpo con una base compatible para ambas cabezas aunque sean muy distintas. Básicamente solo cambiará el agujero del cuello al encajarle la cabeza al cuerpo.

Además, los brazos y piernas están diseñados para que solo rotándolos al coser tengan una pose distinta. Y por último, tendrán dos expresiones diferentes. Así podéis hacer vuestro peluche a vuestro estilo ^^

Qué os parecen? Tenéis ganas de ver ya su creación y poder hacer uno vosotres? Nosotras estamos deseando patronar esas adorables cabecitas! Sin duda nos darán algún que otro dolor de cabeza jajaja. Pero valdrán la pena.
