WIP 1: Klonoa Plush (Patreon)

Well, here you have a new commission WIP. To be honest, when we first saw the characer we thought it was a Sonic OC, but when we checked, it turned out it is the main character of a PS1 game. It was fun hahahaha!

What wasn't that fun was getting the head shape. We had never made a plush with this type of head. It wasn't round enough nor had a muzzle big enough to make it like our other pokemon/animal patterns. So we tried LOTS of ways to make it from scratch, so we could get a different pattern than our previous ones. Each head in the photo is a different way we tried to make the head, and after about 6 attempts, we finally got a shape we liked.

Also, it was difficult because it was a small plush with lots of shapes and details, but also "chibi". The customer asked us to make it similar to the Sonic plushies they sell at stores to complete his collection.

Bueno, y aquí os traemos un proceso de un nuevo encargo. Hay que decir que cuando vimos el personaje, pensábamos que era un OC de Sonic. Pero al revisarlo, vimos que no, que era un juego de PS1. Fue divertido.

Lo que no fue tan divertido,fue conseguir la forma de su cabeza. Nunca habíamos hecho un peluche de este estilo de cabeza. No era del todo esférico ni tenia suficiente morro como para hacerlo como un animal/pokemon. Y probamos MUCHAS formas de hacer el patrón de forma original y diferente de hasta ahora,para conseguir que se diferenciara de nuestros peluches anteriores.  Cada cabeza de la foto es un tipo de patrón distinto. Y después de unos 6 intentos, conseguimos dar con la forma que nos gustaba.
También cabe decir que fue difícil porque tenia que ser un peluche pequeño pero con mucha forma y a la vez "chibi". El dueño nos pidió que el peluche fuera estilo a los peluches de Sonic que venden en las tiendas para complementar su colección.
