Shiny Volcarona WIP 3: Body base II (Patreon)

Don't worry if you see the upper part of the prototype a bit weird. Keep in mind that that will only be the base for the white fur, so it should have a cerrtain size and shape.

Focusing on the abdomen, after 3 attempts, we managed to pattern all the side pieces. And the most important part, we machine sewn everything!!
We had made plushies with similar pieces in the past, like sharpedo, but we found them difficult to sew so we handsewn them. But this time, we wanted to go a step further in the overall plush making. After a couple adjustments, we can say it looks perfect ^^

Having this prototype done, we only have to draw the lines and circles that will be embroidered so we can make the final body.

No os preocupéis si veis un poco rara la parte de arriba del prototipo. Tened en cuenta que eso solo va a ser una base donde colocaremos todo el pelo blanco, así que debe tener un tamaño y forma en concreto.

Centrándonos en el abdomen, después de 3 pruebas, conseguimos patronar las piezas que van en el costado. Y lo más importante, ¡¡conseguimos coser a máquina la unión con el cuerpo!!
Anteriormente, habíamos hecho peluches que tenían piezas cosidas a los lados, como Sharpedo, pero por su dificultad siempre lo habíamos cosido a mano. Y esta vez, hemos querido ir un paso más allá en toda la confección de este peluche. Después de ajustarlo una o dos veces, podemos decir que se ve perfecto ^^

Teniendo este prototipo, solo nos queda dibujar y ajustar bien las lineas y redondas bordadas que llevará para poder pasar a limpio esta pieza.
