ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

After about 6 body prototypes, we finally have our Kerberos body pattern. We didn't think we'd take this long to make it, but we had been a long time without making any sitting plush. The sitting patterns we had were too old to use them, so we had to remake them from scratch. But it was worth it since we got a very organic shape. We didn't want a generic sitting body, we wanted it to have the shape and proportions of a big feline, like a tiger or a panther. To be honest, these animals have really peucliar bodies.

As you can see, the final body is really similar to the 4th prototype. There were big issues with the previous ones, like the shoulders being too low, and even if it didn't look that bad, we wanted to make it better. But we didn't stay with the 4th prototype, since it was a bit too inclined, and we wanted a more majestic pose, with a straigter back. It was really difficult to change it, because each small change made it change completely its shape. IT's a usual thing when you machien sew this amount of pieces.

Bodywise we only have to make the back paws a bit bigger and thread sculpt the toes and our body will be done. We already scaled the 6th prototype to get the 40cm body. Look how big it is compared to the water bottle! When we put the wings and head on, it will be a very big cat.

As a last comment, the neck may seem abit too thick on the pictures, but that's because it's open. Once we sew the head it will look better, but we prefered to make it a bit thicker and be able to change it later than making it too thin and weak.

Well, it's time to make the wings, one of the most difficult parts!
