ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

It's time to show you the custom printed fabrics we've designed. The truth is that we doubted if we should make the clothes of minky a lot, but luckily the result with the printed fabrics is amazing and he still looks super adorable. But maybe in the future we make one with minky fabric just to see how it looks.

Something we were afraid of with making the clothes removable with a thick fabric was that the seams would look too thick. But it looks good, it doesn't stand out too much. And it gives a more realistic look to the plush.

What we decided to change was the print design, so we had to order Marshal's fabric again. When it arrived, we saw the lines were blurry and the color didn't have enough saturation. It's not unusual to make mistakes in this kind of things until you've ordere several times and know how they will turn out. Specially because they're really big files with a high resolution, and printing on fabric is very different than printing on paper. It was expensive to order the fabric again, but knowing how popular Marshal is and seeing all the hours we're investing on making him, it's worth it.

And we made the right choice. On the second picture you can see how clear the new print looks. The change has been for better. The image is more clear and the colour is much better.

With the clothes ready, we only have one part left. It's one of the pieces we're most afraid to make and the one we will finish this project with; the tail.

Oh it looks great!! I dont have any experience with printed fabrics, but I think I've heard/seen similar things about blur+saturation, so I'm glad it worked out for you even if it took trial and error! He is looking so good!! Cant wait for the tail! 😁
