Honduran white bat WIP 1: Plush study and body pattern (Patreon)

ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL
Hello everybunny! Before posting the last CatNap WIP, we want to show you what we've been working on this week! So today we have some WIPs for the Honduran white bat plush, which will be this month's pattern reward~
We're so excited to make another original design that you are waiting so much.
Starting with the plush study, the plush has two parts; the head and body, and the details. The details, although pretty, aren't difficult to pattern. Si we decided to pay attention to the body shape. We weren't sure about how such shape would look like with rabbit fur, because it's only the second time we're using it, and it's difficult to imagine how it will look like when sewn. With minky, you know that the shape you will get will be similar to what you have in mind, but rabbit fur will be a few cm bigger with all the fur, though less than faux fur hahaha. We wanted the plush to have separated head and body pieces, that you can tell apart, but at the same time that the neck seam was subtle, like a loose 8.
We were surprised that, with only 2 tests, we got the shape we wanted! It was so fast that we rushed to make the eye embroidery test.
And here is the result!! Can it be more cute and adorable? ;__; We're in love!!
It's just like we imagined it. And using this fabric was a great idea, it looks so fluffy. Also, the seams are well hidden and the fur has a good direction. Knowing that we already have the body pattern and embroidery, we think we can make the details in a couple days. So maybe this week we will finish the plush and we can give you the patterns!
What do you think? Did it steal your heart?
----ESPAÑOL----
Hello everybunny!
