October Update 2017 (Patreon)

Hello everyone! 

--Future videos

Several days ago I sent two scripts to voice; "GTA VC - Exclusive Japanese content" to Spoofer and "GTA IV EFLC Beta Disc" to SWEGTA. Sadly, I have no ETA, when they finish their job, but let's be patient.

What I can say for sure is that the VC JP video will be ~16 minute long video. I will cover both PC and PS2 versions. You won't believe me, but both of these versions are slightly different from one another.

Speaking of "beta disc" video , I thought that it will be a mini video. However judging from the final script, it will be a little bit shorter than the "GTA SA BMX" video. 

Here is a small spoiler, I have an executable from that "test build", which I can use to start the game. Sadly, there are some problems with it, but we will talk about it in the future video.

--My everyday stuff

Sadly, in the near future I won't be able to work on my channel so hard as before and I want to apologize for that. I am a fourth-year university student and I have to do a lot of work here and there.

It doesn't mean that I want to abandon my channel. No! I will still be making videos, but you have to wait for them a little bit longer. I hope, you will understand my situation.  

 --Mini videos

The "university" thing was the main reason why I wanted to start working on "mini videos" and I am still trying to make a good concept for that. Maybe it is a good thing to make some clips using those GTA 3 Debug finds by FireHead I was talking about... or to take a random beta fact and make a short video about it. Not sure yet.

--Exclusive finds

When I was exhausted, I started to browse Japanese websites so I could chill out. Yep, that's how I relax. To my amusement, I found this art.

If you browsed through Social Club page settings, then you will definitely remember the avatar below :P

That's right, the art you see above is never seen before official GTA IV artwork. The bad thing is, the image is too damn small and was used only once.

Speaking of JP websites, honestly, they are a true gem, because you can find a lot of pre-release screenshots, which were always available to us only as scans. For instance, here are early screenshots of Mesa and CJ.

Cool, huh? I don't want to spoil, but I have more of them in my archives and I want to use them in my future videos.

What I am trying to say is that I waste a lot of my spare time to investigate something. I don't have a team and therefore everything goes too slow.

--JP discs

After finishing VC JP script I asked myself a question. What about GTA HD era?

After a short period of time I found two decent bundles on eBay. I paid ~$20 for 360 discs and $35 for PS3 discs. 

Sadly, there was nothing interesting inside these discs. Honestly, I am a little bit disappointed, because I thought that they will have at least a few exclusive beta leftovers as in Vice City and SA Japanese builds. 

On the other hand, these JP versions should have some minor in-game changes, because there are few things JP censorship loves to cut.

I think, I will sell these discs away, because I already made backups from them and I am not a collector. The problem is, who would buy them? A weird guy like me? :P

If you are interested, I can take some photos of these Japanese discs and their manuals. Just tell me that.
