Afternoon everybody! This is a little bonus lesson for you wonderful Patreon members; laying the groundwork for the "Blues Arpeggios" lesson I'll be releasing this weekend.

A casual walkthrough of the shapes you'll need, and some examples on ways to practice them using your looper and running through some common blues changes. Hopefully some useful little tidbits for you before the main course on Saturday!

Cheers!

If these in depth lessons are the outcome of rain…I wouldn’t mind some more 😉. No, seriously, it can certainly bring down the moral after a while. Hope it will improve soon over there. Thanks, Alex, this really feels like a one on one lesson, which are a even more valuable. My first goal of this year is getting better with my looper, so this was awesome! Take care.

Rainy days are excellent practice’s days, so what a great opportunity we have this Winter to improve our musical skills and playing along with you ! Thank you so much, time is flying with your top qualities videos 🤩

The weather in Manchester has been unusually dry for quite a while, cold and windy mainly.

David Lockwood

Thanks Alex. The meat and the bones., then fleshed out into the blues. 👍

CanuckFinn

Hi Alex, I joined your Patreon today as canuckfinn@gmail.com However, none of your Patreon videos will play in my FireFox browser. In the video's placeholder space I keep getting the following: "Sign in to confirm that you're not a bot" "This helps protect our community. Learn more" I tried playing other videos while logged into your Patreon. No luck. I got the same message Also, tried logging-in several times with different browsers. etc. (FireFox & Edge) Can you send me an email on how to troubleshoot this?

Alex Farran Guitar

Hey buddy, that sounds very strange! Try opening the YouTube in a separate tab/window and sign in to your YouTube account the normal way, then come back to Patreon and refresh the page. If that doesn’t work, email me at contact@alexfarranguitar.com and we’ll try some other things! Cheers, Alex

Alex Farran Guitar

Blimey! You’ve avoided all the nonstop rain somehow!.. lucky! We’ve had flooding and burst riverbanks here!

Alex Farran Guitar

Thank you Gert, I’m glad you enjoyed this more casual/intimate lesson! I’ll certainly do more like it ✌🏻

Alex Farran Guitar

Loopers are the best practice tool, along with a metronome of course! 😉

Alex Farran Guitar

Alex Farran Guitar

Thanks Carlos! Man, I’d love to travel out there someday 👌🏻

Carlos Funk

Guess who would like to host you here?

Rupert Hawkes

On a slight tangent. Thinking of a Lazy J10LC. Any advice other than do it! 😝

Alex Farran Guitar

Ah man, that would be amazing, maybe I'll take you up on that offer someday!

Alex Farran Guitar

Hard to argue against that amazing amp.. I do prefer the J20 slightly, but it's a very close call!

Peter Kelly

Yes, we have been very lucky.
