The full workshop video isn’t far from being ready for release, but in the meantime, here’s a little teaser.

Using nothing but triads and chord tones, we both solo over the beautifully simple changes to Hank Williams’s “I Can’t Help It (If I’m Still in Love with You)”, before elaborating on what we can add to spice things up a little more.

This clip also captures something I really enjoyed about the workshop: alongside all the musical ideas, there were plenty of casual, off-the-cuff moments and a good few laughs along the way! Hopefully this gives you some insight into the warm, relaxing vibe of the night!

Cheers,

Alex

Wow…Will you release this for all of us to watch? That would be a most generous gift for sure. Even this little snippet proves you 2 are a perfect match for a masterclass, in guitar as well as in good times! Looking forward to it! Thanks Alex

Hi Alex - I found a few of your videos and really like your teaching style, very excited to be part of this group. I’m 74, live in the Philadelphia area, and have been playing guitar since the early 70s. I grew up in the Mississippi Delta area and especially like blues and blues rock. Looking forward to your instruction !
