Buongiorno miei carissimi Patreons / FANATICs,

Smeralda mi ha colpito subito per una cosa molto semplice: aveva voglia di esserci.

Era alla sua prima vera esperienza in uno shooting fotografico strutturato, ma è arrivata con un entusiasmo disarmante. Ascoltava, provava, si metteva in gioco senza quell’imbarazzo rigido che spesso può bloccare chi non ha mai posato davvero. E davanti alla macchina fotografica questa disponibilità cambia tutto.

Ha occhi penetranti, capelli morbidi, un fascino mediterraneo molto riconoscibile. Ma soprattutto ha espressioni che catturano: a volte quasi indifesa, a volte più maliziosa, con un modo di guardare l’obiettivo che mi ha lasciato davvero stupito.

Il teatro, probabilmente, le ha dato una scuola fortissima. Si vede nel viso, nella capacità di entrare subito in relazione con chi la fotografa, nella naturalezza con cui passa da un sorriso aperto a uno sguardo molto più intenso. Non sembra mai che stia copiando una posa. Sembra piuttosto che stia cercando, immagine dopo immagine, il suo modo di stare dentro la fotografia.

Per chi segue la pagina gratuitamente, questo è il primo vero incontro con lei.

I FANATICs, invece, l’hanno già vista arrivare prima dello shooting, attraverso anteprime, RAW, backstage e aggiornamenti in chat. E soprattutto hanno già ricevuto Off Script, il primo photo drop completo nato da questo nuovo progetto.

Qui non voglio raccontare quel set nei dettagli. Mi interessa presentarvi Smeralda per quello che mi ha fatto pensare mentre la fotografavo: una ragazza nuova, sì, ma con una disinvoltura rara per essere alla prima esperienza. Dolce quando serve, più sfacciata quando l’immagine lo chiede, capace di restare credibile anche quando il lavoro diventa più diretto, più fisico, più riservato.

È questa combinazione che mi interessa.

Il volto, gli occhi, il fascino immediato, certo. Ma anche quella possibilità di passare da qualcosa di luminoso e quasi fragile a uno sguardo molto più consapevole, più ammiccante, più presente. Nel primo shooting questa cosa è uscita con forza, ed è proprio lì che ho capito che Smeralda poteva diventare qualcosa di più di una semplice new entry.

Good morning, my dear Patreons / FANATICs,

what struck me first about Smeralda was something very simple: she wanted to be there.

This was her first real experience in a structured photoshoot, but she arrived with a disarming kind of enthusiasm. She listened, she tried, she played along, without that stiff hesitation that can sometimes appear when someone has never really posed before. And in front of the camera, that kind of openness changes everything.

She has piercing eyes, soft hair, and a very recognizable Mediterranean charm. But what really stayed with me were her expressions: sometimes almost vulnerable, sometimes more mischievous, with a way of looking into the lens that honestly surprised me.

I think theatre gave her a very strong foundation. You can see it in her face, in the way she connects with the person photographing her, in how naturally she moves from an open smile to a much more intense gaze. It never feels like she is copying a pose. It feels more like she is discovering, image after image, her own way of existing inside a photograph.

For those following the page for free, this is the first real encounter with her.

The FANATICs, instead, have already seen her arrive before the shoot, through previews, RAW files, backstage moments and chat updates. And they have already received Off Script, the first complete photo drop from this new project.

I do not want to explain that set in detail here. What I want is to introduce Smeralda through what I felt while photographing her: a new face, yes, but with a rare ease for a first experience. Sweet when the image needs softness, cheekier when the moment asks for it, and still believable even when the work becomes more direct, more physical, more private.

That combination is what interests me.

Her face, her eyes, her immediate charm, of course. But also the way she can move from something bright and almost delicate to a much more aware, teasing, present gaze. That came through strongly during the first shoot, and that is when I understood that Smeralda could become more than just a new entry.

Inside the FANATICs, this first stage is already much clearer than anything I can show here.
