Ci siamo davvero: con questo ultimo set Manuela chiude lo shooting portandolo nel punto più libero, istintivo e sfacciato di tutto il percorso.

Era stato caldo fin dall’inizio, ma qui cambia qualcosa. Manuela entra nelle pose con una sicurezza quasi feroce, si piega, si tende, guarda verso la fotocamera con espressioni che sembrano completamente prese dal momento. A tratti ha qualcosa di selvatico, bellissimo da fotografare proprio perché non cerca mai di risultare composta o prevedibile.

Ed è forse questo che rende queste ultime immagini così forti: dopo tutto quello che abbiamo costruito insieme durante lo shooting, Manuela arriva alla fine mostrando il lato più audace e istintivo di sé davanti all’obiettivo.

Il set chiude il cerchio, ma lo fa lasciando parecchio da guardare… e ancora di più da immaginare. 😏

Here we are: with this final set, Manuela brings the shoot to its freest, most instinctive and unapologetic point.

It had been intense from the very beginning, but something changes here. Manuela moves into the poses with an almost feral confidence, bending, stretching and looking straight into the camera with expressions that seem completely absorbed in the moment. At times there is something genuinely wild about her, and that is exactly what makes her so fascinating to photograph: she never feels composed simply for the sake of looking composed.

That is probably what makes these final images so powerful. After everything we built together throughout the shoot, Manuela reaches the end by showing the most daring and instinctive side of herself in front of the lens.

The set closes the circle, but leaves plenty to look at… and even more to imagine. 😏

Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Ve lo dico subito: questo set con Manuela mi ha messo discretamente alla prova. 😅

Non tanto perché fosse difficile da dirigere — ormai con lei il feeling c’è ed è evidente — ma perché alcune pose erano talmente strane e fisicamente importanti che, mentre fotografavo, dovevo continuamente ricordarmi di guardare anche tutto il resto. In certi momenti Manuela praticamente mi sovrastava, cambiava appoggio, trovava posizioni assurde e io cercavo di starle dietro senza perdere né l’inquadratura né quello che stava succedendo sul suo viso.

Ed erano proprio le espressioni a fregarmi.

Riguardando le fotografie ce ne sono alcune in cui sembra davvero completamente presa dal set: occhi chiusi, sguardi intensi, espressioni quasi rapite. Durante lo shooting avevo avuto chiaramente la sensazione che si stesse divertendo quanto me, e credo che nelle immagini questa cosa si veda parecchio.

Questo capitolo chiude lo shooting vero e proprio con Manuela, e secondo me lo fa nel modo più coerente possibile: senza abbassare l’energia proprio alla fine.

Più avanti arriverà comunque anche un capitolo di THE BODY dedicato a lei.

Anche se, a giudicare da queste foto, direi che di body in questo set ce n’è già stato fin troppo. 😅

E qui sono curioso davvero: tra tutti i set di Manuela pubblicati finora, questo per voi è quello in cui emerge di più il suo lato istintivo e spudorato?

Good morning my dear FANATICs!

I’ll tell you straight away: this set with Manuela definitely put me to the test. 😅

Not because she was difficult to direct — by now the chemistry between us is obvious — but because some of the poses were so unusual and physically demanding that, while shooting, I constantly had to remind myself to keep an eye on everything else as well. At certain moments Manuela was practically towering over me, changing her balance, finding absurd positions, while I was trying to keep up without losing either the composition or what was happening on her face.

And honestly, it was the expressions that kept distracting me.

Looking back at the photographs, there are some where she seems completely absorbed in the set: closed eyes, intense looks, expressions that almost seem carried away by the moment. During the shoot I had the very clear feeling that she was enjoying it just as much as I was, and I think that comes through strongly in the images.

This chapter closes the main shoot with Manuela, and I think it does so in the most fitting way possible: without lowering the energy right at the end.

There will still be a THE BODY chapter dedicated to her later on.

Although, judging by these photographs, I’d say there has already been more than enough body in this set. 😅

And this time I’m genuinely curious: out of all the Manuela sets published so far, is this the one where you feel her most instinctive and unapologetic side comes through the strongest?
