27:23 As for the To Your Eternity anime adaptation and the season 2 finale. While the manga is still on-going, Season 2 does adapt the full arc we're currently experiencing so, narratively speaking, the 2nd season does give us a satisfying experience.

Let's face it Luke. There is probably a thousand anime you should react to. But you watch pace is abysmal. Anime fans want to see anime. Not all the other content you insist on creating. Let's make anime great again Luke! With that said, I think Luke has not seen what Japan is capable of. He's just swimming on the surface. Consuming a diet heavy in generic safe anime. Patreon is suppose to be the gateway to the underworld. Why should Luke watch such safe anime? Luke should be shown things like Pupa and Kiss x Sis. Why are we wasting time with the normie stuff? Japan is wild. The content they make seems to express this. Contemporary anime has been whitewashed to meet generic western standards so the mass media companies can monopolize and exploit a new market. If allowed they will continue to slowly destroy the thing that makes anime special. They don't think of it as an art form. It's simply a property that they can harness for maximum profit. What so many young fan watch is Western Approved Japanese Animation. It's not truly anime as it's main audience it's intended for is the international market. As many uniquely Japanese things they can are scrub from these types of productions. These are the same people who have no interest in art, creative expression, or beauty. It's all just revenue and profit margins. So in closing. Let Luke experience the real deal anime. Stop watching generic, made for western tastes slop. Take some time to learn and understand Japanese culture. Appreciate it for what it is and what it isn't. respecfully disagree. Everyones journey start somewhere more mainstream, and at this point Luke is watching pretty niche shows for the average anime fan. Youjo Senki, Log Horizon, Ascendance of a bookworm, heck even Monster, is very niche for a still new fan (only 2 years) that is an adult with a family, instead of most of us that binged shows in our teens without a care for the time invested.

Luke's been reacting to anime for two years now. How long is the new period last? Lol His pace is slow, but he's over 40 watched. Many of the more adventurous or outside the box anime where watched long ago. It was nice time. But we need to brave and climb new mountains. Fortune favors the bold. Some like spice, some like bland. Some like safe, some like adventure.

The manga does continue past the end of the anime, but the anime does conclude at a point that feels "mostly" complete. Also, there has been a season 3 announced.

A possible replacement for To Your Eternity could be Shangri-La Frontier due to the insane copyright around that anime. It's definitely not Twitch nor YouTube safe for that reason.

He said he knows he should watch DxD, so either it will be the next series he watches, or he might figure something else out. He may have changed his mind or forgot though, just rewatched ep 1 to make sure what was said lol.

If you want to pick a new anime, please announce it via a post. Please think about the format also due to the moderation setup and limitations of Patreon. Please go over it with Skid. If you want to choose by yourself , no problem - please just communicate it via post. The most fair process with community involvement would be - info to community - let the community pick (with rules) Please think about it. Last time, there were 1300+ comments under the nominations post, which only 250-300 were relevant.The rest were duplicate posts because people didn't scroll down to upvote the already existing ones. The rest of the comments were discussion types, which are not desired if you want nominations. Also, as you didn't set any restictions for anime so there were also ones that could fair well on Twitch or YT like MHA, One Piece and many many other.

TBH i think after TYE you should either start wrapping up the unfinished anime series (Konosuba, Eminence in Shadow, Dr. Stone, Apothecary diaries) or maybe you could finally squeeze in Isekai Quartet

Pupa was just an example. The idea is that mature content can be explored by Luke. If he is willing to react to single season anime, so much unexplored territory exists. Some people might want gore. Does Luke understand the phrase "wincest". He could if people wanted him too. Again, Japan has all sorts of niche, off the wall fetishes. We have the anime to prove it. Let Luke decide what is or is not cool. That's all I suggest.
