I have some really cool new I've been hearing a lot of rumors that the next new Xbox console will come with steam installed. So the new Xbox counsole won't really be a console it will be a gaming pc optimized for TVs that means it will have windows OS access to Xbox game pass, epic games and steam. Meaning you will be able to play pc games and Playstation exclusives on Xbox. Now nothing is confirmed these are just rumors. But if these rumors turn out to be true, it's gonna be awesome.

Not really different there are just some changes and they created a whole new character for the end of season one. A lot of people want a faithful remake because of this.

I haven't watched Noragami for 10 years, not since S2 aired. I remember really liking Noragami, but it's going to be interesting to see if I still enjoy it as much as I did back then, or if I'm going to view it totally differently this time.

It's not an exact figure, and obviously the global economy shifts and changes, but it's a general accepted "relative" conversion, They have 100-yen stores, we have dollar stores. It's just a generalized rate. It's asinine to watch anime see something is 10,000 yen and go "wow I wonder what it's worth exactly today in my money." And the anime is made 10 years ago... People watching at different times will get different rates.. 1 yen = 1 penny = 1 pence. It's anime math.

Oh, get over it. Luke has said in pretty much every anime openings video that features noragami that he's wanted to watch it. A show doesn't need to be what you consider top tier for it to be enjoyable and worth watching. What's great anime to you? Old adult swim anime? An edgy seinen? Some obscure thing that no one's ever heard of? Whatever it is, we'll get there. Noragami is pretty short, this one video alone covers almost half of the first season. You'll live.

Luke, I'm here as an experiment. I have not watched this anime before, which is surprising because I've watched a lot and have thought about it many times. So I will be watching it along with you. If you forget painfully obvious things that were just said, and I don't, it will further solidify the goldfish theory. The goldfish theory being of course that you are in fact a goldfish, and this entire channel is AI generated content. I look forward to the results of this experiment, and finally watching this anime.

subs are subject to the same localization as dubs. It's all done by a translator, the only difference with a dub is that it needs to match lip flaps. I also just found the jokes really unfunny and cringe. I'm aware of the localization in dragon maid, but unless you're listening specifically to the japanese audio and not reading the subs, you are subjecting yourself to an interpretation of the language and NOT what they are really saying. A good example would be re:zero's newest season, which the subtitles were messed up in such a way that it blocked important lines from having any meaning. A translator shouldn't take creative liberty when translating work like this, and insert their own weird misogynistic jokes, which imo is exactly as bad as the dragon maid situation

Translator comments? who asked for translator comments though, it's unnecessary and adds nothing to the show. Like imagine ordering a burger and the receipt said "chefs note: fat bitch"

One thing I'd like to add for context, Luke, until a couple years ago, the legal age for marriage for women was 16 in Japan. It's been upped to 18 now, that's why you'll see some old anime saying things like marrying highschool girls or so.

Doubt it, the problem has been ignored for too many months, bet he's completely forgotten about it.. Since he focus more on being always on the most recent-hot stuff, like most reactors, I doubt he cares about this. Honestly, it's a f'ing shame, maybe with a big push from the followers, maybe... but I guess it's too late for that.
