So I really need to find out what the Astrea familia did to piss off Omori so badly because he did not need to do them like like we all knew they would die but it was absolutely brutal and while Danmachi is fairly popular (especially in Japan) it definitely still feels underrated

Yeah there were no Thursday stream this week because Luke was at an event the same evening he were gonna stream Naruto. But!!! There will be a Tuesday stream this week & an extended Thursday stream to make up for no Naruto the last week. Astrea family was basically the Justice of the city. Highly respected. Omori was just evil group so obviously the Astrea family would fight them. Also they never knew the juggernaut existed it was purely by accident

Both warriors, both clearly feel something irreplaceable for the other, they've experienced the front lines of many battles together, they are happily connected despite racial walls that usually obscure relationships, and they are two of the most respected and strongest in their immediate circles. I can only see a MASSIVELY happy and long life of adventuring together and enjoying love together, if Ryuu and Bell just did the damn thing.

Season 4 felt almost like one continuous movie. It was basically all one big story arc, just split into acts. Super satisfying ending. I truly could not guess whether Ryu was going to make it out alive. The stakes always felt high and like they were barely scraping by, having only the smallest moments of reprieve, knowing there was always so much standing between them and freedom. So well done.

The only thing I hate about this season is how the Juggernaut situation ended... All that scary, dangerous monster murdering top tier adventurers, defeating a floor boss that nearly killed Ains... And they defeated Him so easily with the power of friendship... That doesn't make sense... The worst part in the whole Anime. It should be much more dire and they should be losing and then the Xenos and the rest of party should help and slowly overwhelm the monster with the numbers, and then the Riyu spell. That would be satisfying and logical... but how they did it kinda sucked. I did the first time I watched it and it sucks now even more.

End of S3 I kind of complained that S2 and S3 happened almost entirely outside the dungeon and I said I hoped we'd go back to dungeon delving soon. Holy Shit S4 made me regret my words... and now I kind of want a few seasons away from the Dungeon, just to let the stress die down. xD Also Ryu is best girl, and it's not even close. I know this is going to be Re:Zero all over again, and Bell is going to go after a lesser girl that doesn't deserve him, but he should pick Ryu. On that note I really want her in the familia! She deserves a proper home and to be close to Bell, and the familia honestly needs another strong warrior instead of just borrowing them from other familia. No clue how it'd work since Astrea would need to approve the transfer, but maybe Gods have like divine communication and Hestia could just call her up with god powers and arrange it or whatever. Oh, and I'm so relieved Ryu is alive! When she was in the hospital room alone with Syr I was kind of scared Syr was going to kill her, and then after the date when she ran away I was worried she'd die too. That's more a Re:Zero style season ending than a DanMachi one, but considering that tavern seems to be run by Freya's familia, and Freya is super obsessed / possessive of Bell, I kind of expected them to not be okay with Ryu being so close to bell, going on dates with him etc. Honestly I'm still kind of scared S5 would start with Ryu being kidnapped or killed by Freya, but hopefully S5 will start out chill and we won't start that intensely.

I don't think you've been paying attention if you think they defeated him due to the power of friendship. Each time they fought with the Juggernaut, they did progressively more damage to it making it weaker and weaker. In Bell's first encounter, he cracked its leg so it was slowed down and not as fast. After getting healed by Marie, he generally damaged it heavily with Argo Vesta and blew off its entire right arm. On the 37th floor right after landing on the floor, he caved the celling down between them and it had to go and fight other monsters, which also took a toll on it. During this time Bell and Ryuu had healed up with Ryuu's Noah Heal and also by by drinking potions from the dead adventurers. Finally in the last fight, Bell used Argo Vesta on it again, which did more damage to it before removing its magic reflective shield with a firebolt from the inside, and finally Ryuu was able to hit it with her magic, which was shown that it would have been powerful enough to destroy even the original Juggernaut if only it had managed a direct hit.

Yeah. Completely not that he healed himself by eating mobs and didn't evolve into generally stronger monster with a lot of aoe attacks. He even eat a boss floor that heavily injured lvl 5 Ais. And even tho' all of that 2 lvl 4 adventurers clapped him like a child. I wouldn't say a thing if he actually would be injured in the last fight.

"that's not what they would have wanted. That's selfish of you.". I absolutely hate this way of thinking. If I want to die but my death might upset other people, I'm selfish. But, if those people wish for my survival, even at the price of my continuation of suffering, isn't that also fucking selfish??? Yes, you could argue that their selfishness is for a "greater good", that the suffering could eventually end and the following happiness could balance out all the shit I went through, so surviving may be the best option... I can in part agree to that... but saying that her wish to be free from suffering is "selfish" is, to me, absolutely mental
