There is a payoff to watching the opening each episode starting from Dio’s conversation with Polneraff on the stairs, but it’s important that you do not know when or what it is. Just trust the process specifically and only for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure as something only JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure does

The "white" and "black" thing refers to the Japanese justice system. Innocent is "white" and Guilty is "black", as in they literally use the words for those colours as shorthand.
