irina's sword is able to change into a ribbon because its Excalibur Mimic, like how xenovia's is Excalibur Destruction. I dont think they can all transform

It's no wonder why you recognise the majority of voice actors. This animes is stacked with insane VAs. Issei is Eren's, Rias is Freya from Danmachi, Akeno is the sexy teacher from Assassination Classroom, Koneko is Kirito's sister and Freed the crazy priest is Kirito. And the one of Xenovia who you recognised from somewhere is actually Erina from Food Wars. Another thing, just a food for thought, the voices for Eren and Koneko are actually married and they met working on this anime.

wow koneko is leafa???? there' something i didnt know cool :) While i love dxd for what it is it's a shame it wasn't a bit more toned down to be more widely appreciated. It really does have good animation (some physics not withstand :D) and great fighting and music. The overall themes are weirdly good and draw you in. Like Luke has been saying the recasting of devils as not bad and being your next door neighbor is rather ingenious. it gives it a whole nother dimension.

It's not every holy sword that can transform like in Red Rising, but Iris that has the Excalibur of Mimicry, they said the name in the last episode btw. That's why its special power is changing shape and form, to be able to transform into other stuff.
