Japanese speakers pronounce things differently, since they do not have some letters, so they replace them with similar sounding ones. How you see certain words on the screen is probably exactly how you think it's pronounced. Also "yokaso" wasn't a part of the name, it means welcome.

Zombie Casino! Buf I have seen no Zombie... nor a Casino 😁 So, Luke went in expecting something cheerful, given the opening of the show, and came out on tears of pure emotion. What a ride it was. And it was just the first third of the show!!!

About the endings, not all of them, but some of them have extra escenes with the characteres of the episode. This first and 3rd ones did, as you have partially seen. And I think almost all, if not ALL episodes have after credits scenes, even if only 5 seconds one, so be aware 🫡

Death Parade is amazing and I'm so glad you are enjoying it so much already. I said it at the end of the stream, but I think it bears repeating again. With how much you loved Violet Evergarden and are impressed with Death Parade so far, you would absolutely love March Comes in Like a Lion. I think its important to watch shows like these because they explore mature topics in nuanced ways. So many anime are simply there to entertain you and be forgotten afterwards, but the best shows stick with you long after you have finished them. I can't wait for the rest of Death Parade, and hopefully in the future March Comes in Like a Lion as well.

"Job: Home Security" I know this goes over people's heads but that means NEET. His job is just staying at home. You should try Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) if you like stuff like this.

it's been ages since I've watched Death Parade that I only remembered the ending Death Arcade episode reminded me of Acro Silky's human life in Dandadan, except she was a good hardworking mom. btw i think you should not skip the credits scene. as you've seen from the past episodes, it contains snippets of the lives of the judged characters.

Death Parade is old gold. It proves that a good story, is a good story. Nice to see Luke appreciating it. Gunslinger Girl would have a similar affect if Luke should ever react to it. But we will have to vote for it when the time comes. What a feast the tear collectors would have. Remember: Keijo!!!!!!!! IS a sports anime.

You say you can't fault her for attacking him explaining you would do the same for your kids but then you say you think her motive wasn't her kids but herself. So, ultimately, you say two contradictory statements... so since her motivation was herself then you can fault her? Seems like it ain't only in H sites that you see the mind break tag

You're overcomplicating episode 1-2. By the end of the game she pretty much realized what was going on. She didn't think winning meant she would go to heaven. She knew she was being judged. She lied to her husband to ease his guilt. Nothing about the judgement. She knew he would have felt better knowing he killed his cheating wife and her lover's child. Regardless of where they were sent afterward, she didn't want him to have eternal guilt over killing his own child.

people would prioritize their life, cause it's their life and they care about it more than someone else's life. Crazy huh? How is it mind break, that's literally how EVERYONE thinks. Luke thinking she's a bad parent is just an excuse to make it seem fine in this case, but if good daddy Luke was against good daddy Joe he would still prioritize his kids and his life over Joe's.

Yeah I misspoke. I think she had a one-time affair, but the baby was her husband’s. Regardless of all that, a one-time affair is still an affair and I’m not a huge fan of how the show tried to play it off like it wasn’t enough to ruin their marriage.

I was still a teenager when I first watched it and my mind at the time was thinking that everyone comes here as a sinner (most people are) and that these games and how they act shows who can be redeemed and at the time I was actually confused cause what Machiko did at the end kinda makes her "eligible" for redemption. At the same time, The husband is "generally" a good guy willing to sacrifice himself and only did what he did because he remembers that she cheated on him and had a lapse of judgement. Tho there's also the part where he intentionally hit one of the darts cause he didn't want to die (which is a basic human instinct)
