Is it just me, or did The Nine Tail Fox from Naruto got two Waifus? One from "The Eminence in Shadow" and one from "High School DxD"? 😏

Fatalistic Viking

Since we're about halfway through the last season, when do you think you'll have a poll for the next Patreon exclusive?

Potter889

Vote Monogatari for next Patreon exclusive

Slipstream

Best order. :) First Season Bakemonogatari (2006) Kizumonogatari (2008) Nisemonogatari (2008 - 2009) Nekomonogatari (Black) (2010) Second Season Nekomonogatari (White) (2010) Kabukimonogatari (2010) Hanamonogatari (2011) Otorimonogatari (2011) Onimonogatari (2011) Koimonogatari (2011) Final Season Tsukimonogatari (2012) Koyomimonogatari (2013) Owarimonogatari (2013 - 2014) Zoku Owarimonogatari (2014) Off Season Orokamonogatari (2015) Wazamonogatari (2016) Nademonogatari (2016) Musubimonogatari (2017) Monster Season Shinobumonogatari (2017) Yoimonogatari (2018) Amarimonogatari (2019) Ougimonogatari (2020) Shinomonogatari (2021) Family Season Ikusamonogatari (2023) Tsugimonogatari (TBA)

luke you NEED to check out dub moments from this show when youre finished, the dub line for issei summoning rias is gold

Rem is best waifu

I agree, I don't even recall what was next to High School DxD in the last poll since it was so long ago. I know my vote was Monogatari series but it wasn't winning.

Luke is finally realizing how bad they did the 4th season.

Issei looks weaker because he’s fighting way stronger people lmao. This is partially because 1. You didn’t watch Episode 0 and 2. This season does a bad job emphasizing it, but Cao Cao wields the strongest Longinus in the series. True Longinus (his spear) is the same spear used to kill Jesus on the cross and is the strongest Sacred Gear and Holy Weapon. Cao Cao would mop anyone Issei has fought previously (only one in contention is Vali, who would also smoke anyone else Issei has fought) Also, Issei was never shown to be up there with the strongest of the verse in S3 either. Who did he actually fight? Loki (team fight, had Mjolnir, non-canon) & Diodora and Shalba (none of which are anywhere near close to the “strongest beings”)

Fatalistic Viking

I suggested Black Lagoon and it was getting a lot of likes and whatnot, but whoever goes through all of the suggestions to figure out what anime's are in the poll screwed me. They said that it didn't meet the criteria for a Patreon only reaction and to suggest it in the the next YouTube/twitch poll even though it's incredibly dark. They say fuck on average every 2 minutes totaling 259 times. Twitch would have a problem with the nudity and I doubt it would like everything they get into like the twins back story, one of the worst back stories you'll find in anime, which is based on an actual historical event that's one of the worst things to happen in modern history. And let's not forget all is the crazy violence that is incredibly realistic and occurs all over the world. I still love how incredibly realistic they make things, being brutally honest. Stuff people don't even realize that it actual happens/happened

As much as I'd like to see him watch something consistently good next, I still believe it would be better to use the Patreon slot for something he simply couldn't watch live or post directly to YouTube. It doesn't even necessarily have to be something sus. (Like HOTD hehehe)

Rem is best waifu

I like Black Lagoon and HOTD is alright. He really has alot of choices still being an anime weeblet.

Amberyootoob

I highly recommend Symphogear for the next patreon.

Mugetsu

Now we need to watch Kämpfer for growing boobs for power xD

Earl Preston

a wholly different type of growing boobs!!!!! :D :D :D Yes i've recommended kampfer before!! Dare i say a hidden gem? :D :D

Earl Preston

HOTD!!! I'd also like to throw in survival game club - a hilarious comedy on action gun nuts in a girls school club - reenacting imaginary fights from movies like the matrix and die hard even. ---main character is super sadist if i've got the term right

Earl Preston

So according to Luke at the end Issei just invented Uber Boobs??????????? : :D :D :D Yes definitely inconsistent. i would certainly classify this more of a cartoony episode too.

NK

The nine tail fox is a Japanese legendary creature. Naruto used it but it’s used in so many stories other than Naruto.

NK

Luke the reason that you’re confused about a bunch of stuff is that the studio that did season 3 left out so much stuff and made up their own story for the last three episodes. The new studio that did season 4 is doing a much closer adaptation of the follow up novels, but that means that stuff you should have learned in season 3 is missing unfortunately. The episode 0 ova that you skipped covers some of this (but not all).

NK

Also some of the “cheesiness” of the dialogue is a translation subtitle issue. These subs aren’t exactly the best translation….

Fay X84

Yes, I know 😅 I was just speaking about the episodes timing and gender since Kur... I mean Naruto's nine tale fox was the only male in the group. But thanks for the lore anyway ^^
