The only thing I hated about this show is everything happens in one year which makes no sense. I thought we were gonna get 3-4 years of school and get to watch them grow up (kinda like the X-men and how every major event is a new year in time and you can see the differences) And before anyone says it this is definitely NOT a spoiler. Telling you everything happens in 1 year instead of the span of 3-4 literally tells you NOTHING about the story and characters

For someone that hasn't seen the show, your comment establishes for Luke that he won't get to see the characters progress through school to completion and he won't get much time with them as adult heroes. You're not telling him the events of the story, but you are telling him what he won't get in the story. You can disagree, but if I hadn't watched I'd still consider that a spoiler.

Well if those ppl are wrong then yes. The timeline/frame is not important to the story, unlike in let's say Attack on Titan where that information is 100% vital to the story (especially when its revealed what happens to titan shifters... and hes seen that so not a spoiler). Infact the timeline in MHA is NEVER mentioned at all in the show (which shows its lack of importance) this is additional information youd have to actively look for to even know

I love this anime boath the subbed and English dubbed versions of this show are absolutely amazing. The English dub is so well done the voice actors chosen for all the characters are perfect. If you have watched this show entirely in the subbed I recommend you to watch it all again but in the English dubbed this time. And vice versa if you have only watch this show in the English dub i recommend you go watch it in the original Japanese subbed. Boath are fantastic.

@Antoine Jones why would you establish everything happens in a year, but then say you don't know if they graduate in a year? Then you don't know if everything happens in a year? And even if they fast tracked to graduation in a year, they certainly aren't going to age into adults in that year are they? If you're telling him the whole story takes place in a year, aren't you telling him that this 14 year old kid in middle school will be 15 or 16 when most of the story has been told? Wouldn't that establish that you aren't getting much time with them as adults? Some people might be more capable of drawing conclusions from your statements than you yourself seem to be, so that's worth considering.

Imagine we're watching a show about Superman in his first year of Superhero school, and in that first year he saves the world from an apocalyptic threat. Why would that NOT give you all the credits you need to graduate as opposed to saying "Thanks for saving the WORLD Superman but you still have to finish the other 3 years of school before you graduate and are recognized as a professional hero" how much sense would that make? So while I don't KNOW if they graduated or not. based on logic and what thsy did I would THINK they would qualify

This one is differently going to the top of your list, you love super heros and training arcs. This whole show is pretty much one big super hero training arc. Really wish you'd watch this one dubbed. Most of the english cast is worse with the exception of two characters. All Might; Christopher Sabat does this weird cross between Superman and Captain America and its so so perfect. And one character who's name is a spoiler but fans of the show know they really like opera music. These two performances make the db worth it alone.

Yes, Kamui woods is being a bit over-dramatic with his dialogue. Maybe he's a bit straight laced. But he's rightfully pissed off with Mt Lady. He did all the work, and then she came in and stole all the credit (and the money the government pays for capturing villains) - he did not need her help, but she came crashing in anyway. That level of restraints are being used on the villain not because he is incredibly evil, but because he is incredibly strong. No use putting simple handcuffs on him!

@s4ean I do know if the entire story takes place in a year, its called reading theres plenty of articles on the subject. Now I DONT know if they graduate but I even said the fact that I think they do is an ASSUMPTION based on logic as that would be the outcome that makes sense. And I plan to finish eventually just been too busy gaming to watch much of anything (I haven't even seen solo leveling yet). The last thing I saw was the 4th episode of season 7 So beyond that I haven't seen anything else

For me Season 2 was the point to dip this anime. (idk how many Episodes i was in Season 2) When i first watched it the festival or competitio event with the students felt just stup* and if there were more timeconsuming filler stuff like this i thought its not woth it, Season 2 was the newest one when i watched it tho)... so maybe ill give it a try now, just watching along
