Dont worry Luke, the Eris training stuff is end of LN extra chapters, enough for 2-3 episodes, could be an episode 0 like the Slyphie stuff or small arc to begin the season

That Mushoku Tensei PV seems like it was just a special. The next seasons trailer has already come out and you don't need to worry about it being just Eris. It will jump straight into the main story. I wouldn't watch the trailer, though. It's heavy on spoilers.

Classroom of the Elite has been on a few anime tournaments you've done and I feel like I remember it coming close multiple times. It absolutely should be added to the rotation one of these days.

I would love the Classroom of the Elite anime if they actually would make a good Adaptation. But the Anime is a really terrible Adaptation. Somehow this series just doesn't get the same love 86 and Apothecary Diaries get, those 2 are rlly great Adaptations of it's Novels. It's not an exaggeration to say that Classroom of the Elite is by far the worst Adaptation of a Light Novel into an Anime I ever witnessed. BUT S4 seems to get better treatment. I watched the first 4 Episodes and I actually had fun with it instead of pain

Classroom of the elite is great and yes LN readers dont really like it but still for anime only its really good imo. Also would love to see a reaction to the "Needy Girl Overdose" OP with the theme songs for it "Internet Overdose" and "Internet Yamero" with all songs by Aiobahn.

So now Luke has to watch the new seasons of Ascendance of a Bookworm, Dr. Stone, RE:ZERO, and That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, on top of finishing Hell's Paradise, gachiakuta, and sentenced to be a hero, and continuing the My Hero Academia, and Haikyu, and starting one piece. Thats 10 anime and he's already way behind it's gonna be fun watching him try and catch up to where he should be because of the constant set backs due to weddings or unfortunate circumstances like what's happening on Twitch either way im hear for it all. Oh I almost forgot avatar the last airbender. So 11 shows

I highly doubt the ENTIRE season will be dedicated to Eris - there’s not nearly enough content to do even a single cour focused on just her. However, I do think they will be doing an extended version of S2E0 like they did with Sylphie because a LOT happened with Eris during S2 that will be absolutely critical for S3.

Hi Luke, the new season of Mushoku Tensei won't be entirely about Eris. There will most likely be a zero episode about what happened to Eris while Rudeus was studying at the academy (this is exactly what is shown in the PV, I read the novella, so I know for sure) You can watch the first pv, it has all the main characters and it doesn't contain any major spoilers. By the way, will you watch the 3rd season in progress, or when it ends?

I don’t think we’re going to get a full season of Mushoku Tensei dedicated to Eris 💦 Back when Season 2 finished airing, I thought her arc would just be an OVA or a special episode. The blue‑haired girl who was training with Eris is the same one who appears in Episode 8, during Rudeus’s duel with Badigadi (the six‑armed demon king). Eris talked so much about how amazing Rudeus was that the girl decided to travel all the way just to meet him in person. In the end, she never got the chance to talk to him or find out how sugoi he really was, because she got knocked out by the demon—along with the rest of the male beastfolk who wanted to challenge Rudeus to court the cat and dog girls—so she completely missed the fight 😅

well it does contain massive spoilers, but its OOC spoilers, so it's impossible anime onlys to figure out the spoilers. Even if you dissect the PV as much as you can, you're not gonna be able to guess lol.

Luke, this is not the first trailer for S3. that's why you're mistakenly thinking that this is going to be dedicated to Eris only

Luke, the Eris stuff will either be just like episode 0 of season 2 which was all about what happened with sylphy compressed into one episode, or they will have the first arc of the season dedicated to her. Each arc has generally been about 4 episodes. There was another PV awhile ago that showed the Greyrat family and a bunch of short clips of what's to come.

My main problem is how they frame the main character into being this edgy emtionless being. In the LN it's completely different. And I've also read Apothecary Diaries or 86 and those Light Novels got really good Adaptations, I really like them despite having read the Light Novel. The difference is that the staff creating it actually cared for it getting a good adaptation while for CotE they completely rushed through it. Skipping half the content and changing Characters and so on. And on top of that S2 and 3 had obviously very bad production schedules since some episodes were so badly animated/drawn I couldn't believe I'm watching the same series like in S1

But like I said, it looks like they are approaching it differently in S4 now. They corrected the student count per class from 25 to 40 (probably some anime only are confused but thats actually how it should've been since the beginning, they just deleted 15 students per class in the first 3 seasons). They corrected the character designs for some characters and they are adapting 1 Volume in 4 Episodes instead of 1, 2 or 3 episodes like in S2/S3 (everyone should understand that adapting a whole book into 1 or 2 24 minutes episodes is not working well). The animation seems to be consistent and not dropping down after 1 Episode of airing. I had fun watching S4 and hope it will continue like that

Luke, why do you sometimes avoid trailers / openings in fear of spoilers (like with Naruto or Haikyu) then with other series you'll watch trailers or openings with no fear of spoilers? Just curious! Can't tell if it's based on how interested / invested in a show you are, purely random, or something else entirely.

The PV was just for the Episode 0 of the season. It's adapting a series of short chapters that were released in the LN volumes over time showcasing what Eris has been up to the past few years. Season 2 did the same thing where it highlighted Sylphy and what happened to her during the Turning Point Event.

In the video he said he didn’t think he would like to watch a season based on Eris alone. I’d rather him know that it’s at most a 4 episode arc than even a 1% chance he doesn’t watch the season thinking it’s all about Eris. The other 99% would be that at some point between now and 7/5 someone lets him know it isn’t all about Eris so he doesn’t have any confusion.
