Ill try to keep this short, but quirks usually manifest at a young age, and as a kid youd tend to want to use it more and more, getting used to it overtime you'll have some understanding and control of it. however thats not the case with Izuku, he not too long got the quirk sure his body can hold it but to use it is another story, Eraser head is concerned because as stated by now he should of had some control and if he doesnt it means hes just a liability on the field. so its only rational he get sent home. the school is there to teach them yes, however again by now they should of had some understanding and control over their quirk but Izuku doesn't.

The problem for Izuku is that he is soo far behind every other student that got their quirk when they were 4 compared to izuku that just got his, so it makes sense that Aizawa is singular him out cause in normal case he should already have better control of his quirk before he gets into the school. Think of Izuku in baby stage when it come to quirk basics compared to everyone else but what i would also say is that something that will help Izuku a lot is his Intelligent and his huge drive

You slightly misunderstood the classes. Essentially there were 36 students chosen for the hero course from the entrance exam and they were divided into two classes. So Izuku is in one of the two hero classes. There were also 4 students admitted to the hero course through recommendations and can be assumed to have also been divided been the 2 classes.

Aizawa says that Deku has zero potential because he thinks that Deku couldn't get used to his quirk ever since he was a little kid, which of course isn't the case, but how is he supposed to know that Deku JUST got his quirk.

Erasing quirks is strong but not as strong as you think. You still have to be physically stronger than your opponent and there are some more limitations you will learn about later

Aizawa is the goat, in my top 3 from MHA easily. You'll love him from now on. And, at this point just look at Bakugo like the genius kid from a little school, he wanted to be the first ever from this school to go to UA, and even if he did that, Deku did too while Bakugo has always seen him as a quirkless. People in this world awaken their Quirks when they're kids. The teacher has no way of knowing that Izuku just got his. So, from his perspective, Izuku is someone who's had this Quirk for many years and still hasn't managed to use it properly, unlike all the other students. It seems logical to me that he thinks Izuku has no potential.

Your analogy for going to U.A. to learn is missing the point. It's similar if you show up on univercity and tell that you don't know how to write. It's a basic skill expected to have at this point in education. U.A. expects that the students have basic control of their quirk. They want to refine the skill with the quirk for hero work not teach basic quirk handling.

But If you went to a racing school and didn't know how to drive they wouldn't be expected to teach you how to drive. That's about the equivalent Luke. They don't know he doesn't know how to use his quirk because thats expected. All the kids know how to use their quirk. They dont know he just got his. Thats not the teacher being a dick, that's just normal expectations.

One thing to keep in mind is no one knows izuku just got his quirk. So from the teachers perspective, Izuku's had his quirk for about a decade and it still shatters his limbs using it. He'd interpret it like the power is impossible to control, not that he needs time to learn to control it.

there's a very common misconception when it comes to the classes and their ranking. Class 1-A with Midorya, Tenya and Bakugo are not the top first year class. The top 36 from the entrance exam were randomly split between the 2 first year classes, plus then 2 in each who were admitted via recommendations and didn't have to take the entrance exam. They are completely equal and neither is ranked above the other. Collectively they make up essentially the 40 strongest young heroes in japan

It's important to remember Luke that Izuku is way behind everyone else when it comes to using his quirk. To use your racing analogy, it's less like if you turned up and were awful at racing, and more like if you turned up and didn't know how to drive; There's a baseline that's just expected. Everyone else had their quirk manifest when they were about 5 and have had 10 years to learn at least the basics of how to use it and have trained to use their quirk in combat situations since they all dream of being heroes. Izuku has none of that and cannot even use his quirk without breaking his body. From Aizawa's perspective the gap in training is so great it's not worth the effort of even trying to teach him what everyone else has already mastered.

Class 1A and Class 1B are the two first year hero courses but it's important to note that there is no strength difference between the 2 classes. You don't know the names yet but there are some characters that we see the names of when it shows Izukus passing grade on the entrance exam that are in the other hero class and their scores are right alongside Izuku's score.

bc you mentioned it, its helpful to know that class A (deku's class) is not intended to be stronger than the other class. its not that the top 18 got placed into his class, but rather than the top 36 were randomly divided between the two classes.

yeah thats a common misconception, but if you look at the results of the UA entrance exam, you can see that many class b students like shiozaki, kendo, tetsutetsu scored in the top 10. the classes may end up having some differnces in strengths down the line due to extraneous factors, but that enters spoiler territory so i cant say too much about that here

I always interpreted Aizawas smile as he's happy that Izuku found the workaround. Because in his first try he was clearly about to go all out with his full arm and Aizawa erased his quirk before he could to prevent him from fucking up his entire arm. I always thought of it as the lesson Aizawa was trying to teach was for Izuku to think about how he could use his quirk better rather than just react and recklessly go all out. (I.e, use his brain and be strategic, because as we've already seen Izuku IS a smart kid.)

So the issue with the teacher to bare in mind is that he doesnt have any reason to believe that Izuku hasnt had his quirk for years like everyone else has. He looks at Izuku like he either hasnt learned to use his quirk after YEARS or the backlash is just that inherent in his quirk. The first makes him look talentless and second looks unfit to be a hero

In theory, you're right, that's how it should be, but in practicality, that is very much the way it is. Classes 1A and 1B very much have a hierarchical system in place between them.

Luke just start watching Mainstream anime and you can not lose. It's mainstream for a reason. Anime like "Mushoku", "Solo leveling" count into that but you already seen those. Also like "Shangrila", "Tsukimichi" ... what else you yet to watch what is popular on youtube? ... hmmm ... basicaly anything what have good scenes what people like reactions to it does not matter if anime is good ... it needs that hype around it. Scenes what are memorable what people want to see others to watch ... yea like "MAGI: Labyrinth and Kingdom of Magic" is also popular and underrated or "Seven deadly sins" also, "Wistoria: Wand and Sword" is overlooked but top anime or Mecha anime you did not watched them almost none of them like "Aldnoah Zero" or "Broken Blade" or something like "The Irregular at Magic High" or "Dainanaoji (I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince, so I Will Perfect My Magic as I Please)" ... those anime cant be forgoten ... just pick one it will be same top as My Hero Academia. And to be honest ... streaming them is best way to watch those ... for patreon for sure. It makes sence to post one episode at a time when its currently airing but not so much when its years out there but that may be just my preference. It's not like you can not split those streams into multiple episodes anyway for youtube or something like that like you did that with Danmachi or Naruto for example. I will always remember your Danmachi season 4 and naruto streams ... top experience from your side and we got whole night to watch with you ... peak of anime. Immagine watching Danmachi season 4 and that fight with boss and split if into episodes for us to watch ... or slime season 2 split into episodes right when Rimuru was evolving into Deamon lord or Naruto vs Pain ... I would tear my hair out if I had to watch that peak one episode at a time. We already did that when it was releasing weekly. We already know what will happen. We just want to see your reaction.

BnHA has such a strong start, and I love the concept behind quirks. I did watch until season 4 I think, and it's a really solid anime. After that I droped it, since I knew the rest from reading the manga... And unfortunately I didn't think it'd be time well spent to continue watching.
