YLIA reaction drops are like finally getting that gacha pull you wanted.

What I absolutely love is that Kousei kick her ankle was not just him noticing that she had a physical injury but also that she was hurt mentally too, which is why he was telling her to let it out. Great writing

Heads Up! Episode 10 has "after credits Scene"

The "He's like a hopeless kid brother" line from Kao is the exact same thing Tsubaki said to Kao. Back in episode #3 when Kao asked Tsubaki if she liked Kousei to which Tsubaki replied "Kousei is...he's like a hopeless kid brother."

Some big implications there that nobody seems to pick up on in reactions

The anime will really pick up steam now. There is no dull moment left in the series, and looks like Luke is strapped in.

Thanks for the reactions. Something about YLIA always brings out the emotions each episode. I love the animation and music.

Luke, if you watched the OVA before episode 6, you could have an idea about the boy and the girl at the end of the episode and their relationship to MC ^ ^

When I watched this the first time I binged watched it in April and the end of the anime snuck up on me like “Where did those episodes go?”

Mad Kangaroo

Just a little warning as well that it doesn't happen often but do check for scenes after the credits from now on

sparkfly2000

I just finished the anime a few hours ago and I feel that. I can only have started it two weeks ago at most.

We keep waiting too long for each episode :(

I am somewhat sad that your lie in April will be prioritized over march comes in like a lion but I do want to rewatch this show after years as well. It’s definitely not nearly as impactful to me personally but it’s still cool

Its a sports anime. No really any competition format makes it a sports anime. that you get invested is the team or solo player going to make it? and we have training montages! You could just see ROCKY in this. The anthem is playing and he

Earl Preston

the anthem is playing and he's jogging and lifting weights and punching bags and the bell rings and they punches are thrown!!! Its all the competition ! The music in the end is just like the great music in the first xmen movie from 2000 - the scene where Xavier shows Wolverine around the school - its a trilling or something - i guess its technically an apregio. the single notes around a chord. just beautiful. I think ive finally been able to be at peace watching this again. for now.

oh the other thing i wanted to mention was the use of the trains in the outdoor scenes. it was an obvious transition when the childhood friend girl decided to go out with the sports guy and they had the train wipe past. i think it was similar here when kaou was encouraing him after he freaked out with the cat. im not sure entirely what the metaphor or technique is but im definitely catching on to it.

Can't wait for more! Tmrw? 😍✨️

21:14...whats funny about this scene is that Tsubaki's foot is like at least 2ft long here and its crazy. Like her foot is as large as his thigh.
