Great episode setting stuff up for the future. It has been a long time since I read the light novels but I think they handled this part really well. Tanya isn't just a terrifying force on the battlefield, she is incredibly smart at identifying problems at a strategic level and coming up with solutions.

I enjoyed this episode more than the first one this season. I enjoy seeing Tayna's genius intellect is actually as good of a weapon as her battfield prowess.

its actually really funny how the are started, first the Nordic countries sent a military force into the empire who retaliated starting a war, then the French saw them occupied with the Nordic countries and invaded, then another country to the south (i forget he real life equivalent) invaded, then after France and the Nordic countries where defeated remenents of their militaries set up in north africa and started preparing to invade so they had to send troops to africa to stop them, and then America and the UK sent troops to Russia who invaded. the Empire literally didn't start a single war in the whole series, they just built up their military so they could defend themselves and apparently they definitely made the right call because everyone wants to invade them.

Yes, Tanya absolutely is using knowledge about WWs I and II from her original world to help her with her decisions in this world - understanding the distinctions between communism and nationalism as well as the strategies to deal with each is part of that; but remember - back in S1 she's the one that brought up the concept of "world war" to her higher ups based on their enemies seemed to be teaming up against them - and that was DEFINITELY from knowledge from her previous world. And make sure you react to the ED when you do the OP - the ED is another Aoi Yuki masterpiece.

Hmm maybe before staring season 2 of saga of Tanya the Evil you should finish watching Hell's Paradise there both in there second season but Hell's Paradise season 2 came out first and you're already half way though it maybe you should finish that instead of starting another show
