The dancers definitely have to be trusted but I think the time they learnt the choreography would be just in the last 2 months… space to finish have a mini break and then learn it

It's crazy to think Travis saw the eras tour, wanted to give her his number, and they fell in love, have a song or two written about him and now it's being performed at the same tour he saw her at at the beginning. It's a whirlwind! The so Highschool bleacher choreography being modeled after her reactions at football games, and his touchdown dances and swag surfing... It's sooo cute! It's too much. He better protect her heart always! She's loving him so out loud ♥️

I think it’s possible she may want to put a nice bow on the Eras Tour by owning all of her works, so I could see her dropping them this year. There’s a couple interesting dates in November, November 1 (111 or III in the TTPD logo) or November 22 (1122, but maybe doubles is just a TTPD thing), both Fridays. As much as I'd rather it not be, I think there's a strong possibility Maroon is about Matty and her not working out back in 2014. She did say before one of the Maroon performances that it was about something that happened "a long time ago." Combined with the "scarlet maroon" lyric from Chloe et al, I would imagine both songs are inspired by the same muse.

We need a 13 episode documentary-series about it all! I also think with the rehearsal process, they may have started learning the choreography before the 2 month break and then during the 2 month break they may have pieced it all together and practiced the new running order to get that in their bodies with new quick changes, transitions between eras, etc. Pro dancers can generally pick up choreography really quickly and learn a normal length show (1.5 hours or so) in a few weeks. They’re so good at their jobs!

As a choreographer/producer I can weigh in.. when she says we started planning this 8 or 9 months ago it’s along the lines of planning that there would be a TTPD set. The first thing that had to be in production would be Who’s afraid due to the moving stage part. But planning means they made sure there was a 2 month break to rehearse it. She hired and scheduled all the people needed for choreo, costumes, began coming up with ideas for style and visuals but the actual entirety of the set list would come together much closer to when she turned the album in. Things get added later all the time in a production development ESPECIALLY transitions so Down Bad and So High School I would consider transitions those were likely decided later. But Daddy, Fortnight, Smallest Man and I can Do it likely led the way and everything was developed around those.

I’m not terribly surprised that she isn’t doing mashups because of TTPD being new and focusing on that new set. She’s commented how the surprise songs take time to practice and she does put planning and effort into them. Just rewatched the vid and caught the part of you finding them in pursuit of an alternative to watching miss americana on netflix. I became a fan of taylor when I first heard safe and sound, then became a bigger fan when I heard that she worked with ryan tedder on 1989. (loved onerepublic since their myspace days). Funny you should mention that was on repeat in your car because the cd player in my truck finally died, and my 1989 tv is stuck in there. I kinda like the idea of it living there forever, though. Anyhoo part two … although I was already a fan, I wasn’t deserving of being called a swiftie yet because I hadn’t even begun to fathom the brilliance of taylor’s lyricism and discography. I only felt deserving of that title’s honor after educating myself by watching bonny and emily masterfully decode her albums. So illegal. They’re straight-up geniuses. Anyhoo part three … just wanted to write what became a novel to express my extreme joy and gratitude for your existence and kind heart. Your eloquent words and woodworking talent resulted in the most beautiful gifts for bon and em, which resulted in my genuine tears over your love and appreciation for them, because I love and appreciate them too, which resulted in me connecting with one of the coolest people I’ve never met, which resulted in said person actually replying to me, and to top it off, a like from chats & reacts?? As you girls have mentioned "hoax" again, I've written this down in my journal the beginning of this year after listening to "hoax" and having it grown on me over time. My journal says⬇️ 【THIS IS HOW I FEEL ABOUT "hoax" missing from Surprise Songs – Now that I've listened to it more, the lyrics are somehow giving a much sadder tone to it, thinking back, "hoax" being the last song on the album. It might've meant something or gave out some early signs about the latter breakup with Joe.】 Also, after watching AJay's folkore revisit reaction video, I feel like I'm not the only one having this thoughts/feelings towards this song. She pointed out how dark and hurt the lyrics speak out and maybe there had been more signs of their relationship being in an unwell state than we could've imagined.

I think it's nice she removed all rules for the surprise songs... honestly would be better if she keeps replaying the fan favourites that most people would die to get on their night even if it's been played before... nobody would be disappointed to get them + many European fans may have never seen her before so why waste the moment with a less popular song just because of a rule she made up

thank you, it was so fun to think of ways to put the whole experience onto a box for each of them. and getting to meet them in london in august and tell them i love them was such a full circle moment from box and letter to real hugs. what do you craft? woodworking and photography for me with some fabric design and sewing thrown in

Hi Mex! Good to hear from you! I am just a hyper little crafter. I don’t have one specific thing that I do, but when I have time , I like to dabble in crocheting, sewing, playing with the cricut. During Covid I tried painting, drawing, and I even made a quilt out of old tshirts! I am a court stenographer during the day, so I made a fellow court stenographer Swiftie some gifts. I crocheted her a mini scarf keychain 🧣 and I printed a vinyl sticker of a steno machine, and put the words “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me…you should be” on the screen. Happy crafting, Sweet Mex!
