I think your spot on, ‘Midnights’ was through her life - but pining for one person repeatedly for like a decade from what it seems like now after TTPD! I kinda think Maroon is now about Matty. The lyrics fit what she has said about him and she said Maroon in ‘Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus’ - which is also when she says ‘internet starlet’ (his current gf). He’s also been known to kiss multiple people at his shows during a certain song called ‘Robbers’. Also, ‘wake with your memory over me’ kinda gives me ‘guilty as sin’ vibes. The fact she did ‘Hey Stephen’ and then out of every song chose ‘Maroon’ hints at the connection. But I could be full on delulu. Thanks for another lovely SS video! You ladies rock! 💖

I was at Paris night 2 omg it was amazing, personally the surprise songs I got were my favourite by far so I am super happpyy But all the songs were so good I knew which songs were coming from ttpd before my show but seeing the scenery for the first time with my own eyes was unreal, can’t move on lol

I'm from Denmark but i live in Sweden and i got tickets to the second night and I am so excited!!! This is my first ever Taylor concert, isn't that just crazy!? Become a baby Swiftie a year ago after watching the Eras Tour in the movies not knowing anything about her apart from her hit singles. And now she is the only artist i listen to 24/7, never would have thought i would end up going to see her and for the first time ever in Stockholm as well, it's just so unreal.

As an American who was at the show in Paris, I do have to say that 90% of the Americans I talked to bought their tickets off of stubhub (including me). I 100% agree that local fans need to get a chance to see her especially considering how this is her most extensive Europe leg ever but I don’t really see it as Americans taking those tickets from Europeans when everyone has the same chance to buy off of resale? I completely agree that in every country, TM should only allow those with a country area code to register but maybe for resale, it’s kind of fair game I guess? And yes so many Americans I talked to made it a Paris/Europe holiday which is so special!

Resale is illegal in france, french people can’t access stubhub and do not know this way of buying tickets as it is not allowed I agree its not the people who bought tickets who were at fault but being french surrounded by americans at the show was quite weird lool I had to use disabled toilets because of a knee surgery and was almost prevented by an american girl lmao Idk its just weird TM did a terrible job anyway…

Also, in Paris, she could not do a Stadium because of the preparation of te Olympic Games, they were doing repare or like building things around so her only window in Paris was last week in the Arena because then they need t to build something inside (a pool I think)

Some random thoughts 1. I wore TTPD logo on a white tshirt in Melbourne as my outfit😂 2. Maybe needs her bum out for the chair dance -practical not sexual reasons 3. Tour - I’d love her to do BIG shows in 2025 like Glastonbury, Super Bowl etc…. Nice way to close out the biggest show! 4. Fathoming my life … Covid shut downs led to massive fathoming of TS back catalog… would not be as deep in Swiftlore without Covid and you guys! I’m a French swiftie and I couldn’t get a ticket, I didn’t even receive a presale code (although I registered, of course). I know many other French swifties who couldn’t get tickets either. So for us, knowing there were so many Americans at ‘our’ shows is infuriating. I don’t want to spend a fortune on resale websites with no guarantee that I’ll be able to enter the venue with those tickets. That’s just not fair. Meanwhile, Taylor thought she was singing for us French fans but she wasn’t really.

I myself am very confused how resells would work for example here in Germany. When I got my 2 tickets for the 19th of July in Gelsenkirchen my confirmation email and ticket said the tickets are non-transferable and that I have to be present to do use of the tickets, so if I can’t go for some reason then my friend technically would not be able to go either. So idk how they are reselling tickets :s

I can see both sides of the argument about people traveling to other countries to see Taylor, especially my fellow Americans as there are a ton of US dates compared to other countries. However with that said 90% of the Americans I see talking about going abroad for a show almost exclusively got tickets via resale which means that it seems those locally could do the same. I mean I saw plenty of tickets still available for Paris shows day of that were reasonably priced. I f I could swing a last minute trip I would have probably gone myself.

As a newer swiftie I can speak to my experience. I was born in 1989 so while I was not a mega fan, of course was born and new about her even in high school. I was a casual music listener in general and over the years would be hear the radio hits of taylor and like some and nothing more. Getting deep into it with thr eras tour I have gone back to every album I missed an at least listened to the full thing once. I'm not as into the country sound so those are a bit harder to want to revisit for me. I still don't know her first 4 albums front to back - when treacherous played i knew the song but couldn't place thr album. well as a french who went to a paris show, it was really disturbing and I would say unfair to see ONLY american people around me... I get that the ticket master situation was really awfull in the US BUT ! they just had like one year of tour, us in Paris only have four, in an arena of only 40 000 people. It really bothers me that some of my friends that are die hard fans could not get tickets to see her in their own country. We don't have the budget to see her in another town... and many many many of the people I spoke to already saw her once or twice in the US... plus they were rude but that's not the point.. It's just really weird because I expected to see fans from france, Belgium, swissland or whatever and I ended up being behind people that only spoke between themselves because ofc they don't understand french, and already saw her once. Once again Paris feels like a big touristic attraction for americans that have a much larger budget than a 19y french student would have . That's only my opinion tho

the problem with the americans buying tickets in europe is that they made the prices even higher. the re sale prices are so high, and we European are not ready to pay that much. and when for example American buy them its gonna change the prices for tickets in the future, because the organizer seeing that expensive tickets will get bought and they will increase them even more. and thats basically the biggest problem. i payed 350€ for my ticket and plus the transport and the hotel its gonna be near 700€, and that's like a whole vacation for us in Germany. so I am a little bit angry/disappointed

I can totally see how she might've done two songs that reminded her of MH on Sat - it's been a year exactly since the Cardigan "I love you you know who you are" thing, and she knew Travis was coming in for night four. She might've just needed a final moment to wrap up some of that pain she had to dig back up to play the TTPD set, and now n4 she's looking to the future. I don't see the issue with US resale getting better unless they are willing to pass any laws, but maybe it would be possible to have something like the midnights presale in the UK where if you purchased midnights (or signed up on a free link that was kinda hidden) you got a code to purchase tickets. I do not think Maroon is about Matty at all. Back in 2022 Taylor confirmed the connection to Red. I think it’s very clearly about Jake, but Matty likely brought up similar feelings Jake did. And she ended the entire album with The Manuscript, which is also a Jake song. The Jake relationship really messed up her perception of relationships, that I think he’s often her frame of reference when it comes to exes.

Please be careful with resale for the UK (and Europe)! The terms of the tickets state that it's illegal to resale through third party sites and ticket transfer still isn't open for any UK shows, unlike Paris where the tickets were PDFs, the UK tickets are digital and change every 60 seconds so if transfer isn't enabled you've no chance of getting in

There were so many people in Paris selling tickets at the arena for various reasons like their friend couldn’t make it. I had tix to night 2, but was able to get tickets to night 1 down at the arena earlier in the day for only $200!

I hope so. Fingers crossed! On the first leg of the US tour, I was seeing people try to get resale tickets the day of, and the prices didn't even drop then... they gave up an hour or so into the show when the prices still hadn't dropped. I live several hours away from Indianapolis, so I won't be able to do the day-of gamble. But I will keep an eye on resale as the date gets closer.

I've never seen her before and she will never come to Romania so my only chances are other shows in Europe because anywhere else is just too expensive for us. Yes it's rubbish that we are having to pay so much more, but I really want to get myself tickets to London, but I'm worried about not being let in, or buying fake tickets. Anyone have tips on how to avoid, and do we know that resale like stubhub are actually getting in? I thought it was banned so was thinking any tickets purchased through stubhub might be voided at entry??

The girls were talking about the upcoming tour dates ... You know the one date I'm dying to know WTF about is June 18. She has a single show on a random Tuesday in Cardiff, UK. No other shows for that venue. The only guess I have is she's playing for the Royal Family, maybe not with the full stage. Does anybody know what the Cardiff date is all about? I do believe Maroon is about Joe and their relationship at the beginning and then suddenly starting to fade as the songs reflects on a more stable relationship and Matty and her were not serious back in the day.. I also think Joe and Taylor were broken up and decided to give it one more shot, and that's how we got Hits Different. I also believe more songs are about Joe in TTPD instead of Matty..

Not to make everything about her boyfriends, but I’m assuming her relationship with Travis is probably going to influence her decisions around touring. He has been clear he wants kids, and I don’t see them dating at 34 if they haven’t discussed it and agree on that. They are both turning 35 this year…IF they get married and want to start a family I see that happening pretty quickly in the next few years and touring does not really fit with that.

Going back and watching these! I was there at this night and to answer your question about how many people know surprise songs, I realised it was not a lot! Because in Europe the pit is all standing only, a lot of people around me sat down on the floor during the surprise songs, everyone is so exhausted by then, and they definitely did not know treacherous at all, like I could not hear a single other person around me singing it and I was maybe two metres from her. I had the best experience ever because I was near the front and when everyone sat down I felt like I had a direct view to her and it was very special!
