I love the symbolism of the last part where she gets out of one car and gets into the next, but going back the same direction she just came from. Like a visual counterpart to her lyric about liking her men all incompetent, taking some accountability for this pattern of horrible men she keeps latching onto. Most people hitchhike in order to get somewhere new, and most people would learn from a bad experience with a terrible guy, but she's not quite there just yet. I really love everything about this music video!

I love all the weather updates. I live in Iowa. Our average low in Jan would be -15 C and our average high in Jan is -5 C (4 F and 22 F) It regularly drops below zero F in the winter for us. BUT, we are more prepared for it, our houses are well insulated and while heating isn't super cheap anymore, its still way more affordable than places like Europe. We run our heat all the time in the winter. The summer for us is sometimes frightful with our humidity (because of all the corn we grow, it puts out so much water in our environment) August is our hottest month--average lows would be 18 C and highs are 30 C. Our average humidity in August is 72%, so with the heat index it usually feels like over 100 F during the day. Spring and Fall are the best times of year for us, weather wise, but it can vary so much day to day. Its not unusual for us to get snow in April and Oct, even sometimes in May. Fall is generally my favorite time of year weather wise, as its drier. I can't stand it when we get a cold rain, which is common in March, April, and May.

something i haven’t seen a lot of people talking about is how this mv is clearly depicting a road trip, hitchhiking situation, but at the end of the music video we see her get out of one car and get into another going back the way she had just come, not actually moving her forward in her journey at all. i feel like that’s a pretty important part of the metaphor here

What a lovely weather you guys have in Brisbane. In Perth, it’s either rainy all day or 12 degrees that feels like 10 because of the wind. I am genuinely freezing inside my blanket with a thick jumper on. But it’s indeed lovely during the day cause of the bright sun. So the directors for Sabrina's music video have this really signature style of surrealism and the way they do special effects is phenomenal. They need more attention. Also Sabrina said was inspired by movie trailers in general with this. I don't believe the song or the music video is about one particular thing/person but with an overall theme of repeating her bad habits like someone said below. It's awesome. My favorite thing about Sabrina is as much as she dishes out she knows she's at fault too. This music video is such a perfect example of an artist's vision and a director's style meshing perfectly. I need more music videos like this.
