Katie LaFave

the only songs i'm doubling up on are love story, fifteen, and you belong with me! every other song i'm keeping just the taylor's version

Katie LaFave

she really killed it with the fearless re-recording

hannan

GOING BACK TO THE VERY FIRST RERECORD WHERE IT ALL STARTED 4 YEARS AGO

Abby

I was sat thinking god I’ve watched too much criminal minds today I need a bit of Taylor or something, was going to go find some old vids or something … and then boof girls deliver yet again 🥳

Katie Regan

I haven’t watched this yet but I think fearless tv is THE best tv and so many of the songs are so superior

Miranda Turbett

Tay coverssss!!!!!!!! Yessssss excited and the brooks and Dunn one is one of her best of course!!!!! And fearless Stan reporting for duty 💛 I love both original and Taylor’s version equally both are so good let them playyyyyyy

chel

you girlies literally always know the right time to post!!!!

C

What a lovely little treat that I get this video to cozy up with while I rest from surgery this morning!!!! <3

Taylah Louise

I totally get what Emily means with the OG recordings being noisy. Her mature vocals and the smoother production made this album mean so much more to me as a lyric girly.

ella

omg a great birthday present

Alexis

Seeing Bonny being perplexed by Emily’s change in minds is so funny. 😂 Also, in regard to updates to the room and decor, I hope the neon “I love you to the moon and Saturn” sign found a new home somewhere. 🥺

j🪩

so excited for this video! you girlies inspired me to make my own playlist based on these vids! this has been a fun journey!

Sydney Ros

bonnie reactions are so funny !!😅 i enjoyed watching all the videos for this series !! love from the ohio, usa!

Enzo Reis

omg yes! I was needing a Fearless chat from you chickens!! 😻💛💛 Also I'm in love with your sweatshirt Bonny.

Olivia🐱

The Way I Loved You (Taylor’s Version) completely misses the mark for me emotionally. The way she sings "it’s 2am and I’m cursing your name" around the 3 minute mark in the original version is sooo much better and the emotion is almost completely gone in Taylor’s Version. I feel so passionate about that!!!🫠

Emilitsa

fathomed recently that in superstar in that first chorus where she changes 'take' to 'keep' the background vocals still sing 'take' and now i can't unhear it every time i listen. it's like this weird little clash but i kind of love it at the same time

Ana E

Tears down my face as Bonny was talking about The Best Day 💛

Debra

I was 42 when fearless came out and Fifteen was my favorite song back then. Loved your perspective on looking back at that age. For me it was about the nostalgia and of course the melody is so so good.

chatsandreacts

She’s in our office cupboard with no home at the moment 😭 we haven’t been feeling that we (as in all swifties) are in our folklore era, but she will come back out one day!

sofie sandrini

Hi Chickens. I enjoy Patreon so much and have done for the past two years (crazy). I’d die for Taylor - you understand - and oh my god do I get emotional so often when listening to your discussions, especially in breakdowns. That’s why I’d love to listen and experience you diving into even more music. And listen to ur analysis and lowk journalism; on that. I’m really thinking - not new stuff, like reactions, and the new pop music - what YOU love. I looooove 70’/80’s music so so much and Fleetwood Mac is music I cannot listen to enough! And I know you both feel the same about them too. And there just aren’t many/any people who review old music - it’s more streaming and new stuff that’ll get views which people prioritize, which is understandable, but also such a shame when I feel like we are missing reviews/breakdowns/reactions on decades of fantastic music. I love your passion for music - that’s why I connect with u and want to listen to all u have to say. So! Anyway. I love everything you do but - as you always say we should comment what we want more off - I thought I’d take the opportunity to. I’ve been wishing this a long time, but you wouldn’t know because I haven’t said it. So yeah I’d personally love to see more breakdowns and more breakdowns of music that YOU adore and live for (especially if it’s older music hihi) Xx

Tess7

I loved Fearless TV. The original won every award in country music plus the Grammy for a reason. I am dying for debut TV! I think that one might win some awards, especially on the country side of the award shows. I go back and watch your reactions to Fearless TV every time I want to listen to this album lol Having you two excited chickens to listen along with is just too fun 😊

Ran

What the hell why every outfit is soooo pretty on you two😭

Marcelo Gouveia

Yaaaaay. Love it. Guys please react to role model’s album pleeeeeaaasee

Lefty

I do like your new background, especially the string of hanging pictures. It made me think that a string of lights or two could look really cosy, especially if you end up doing a night time video like you used to with the surprise songs! For me, Love Story is the most no-brainer choice; I like the original so much more. I actually dislike the TV for the reasons Emily likes it, I really don't like the vocal changes in the TV and there are several of them. Change is the biggest glow up for me, her vocals are not that appealing in the original which is not a common criticism I have. The TV sounds so crisp and her mature vocals are perfect. Instrumental differences are a recurring thing on Fearless TV, there's a lot of extra stuff that was more prominent in the original; the electric organ in Hey Stephen, the violin in Breathe and Tell Me Why (you can't even hear it in Tell Me Why TV but there's a violin melody in the chorus that follow the melody of "I know you've got a mean streak".

Summer

This is so random but Emily impersonating those guitar sounds at 18:04 have me laughing so hard i keep replaying it and my stomach now hurts from laughing

Bran Swift

You belong with me and forever & always (piano) are the only originals I chose! Forever & always piano SHOCKED me at how emotional it felt I love it

Ashley

Fearless the song was super hard for me and I also still haven’t chosen because I just can’t pick so I do have both

Mia Morgan

Bless you both for sharing, I have been waiting to update the playlists I have for each album! <3

Molly

You guys are truly the best! Make my day every time! Would love for you guys to react to “so close to what” Tate album

Matthew Gordon

Oh goodness are we supposed to realize that you capitalized the FARS in fearless? I feel insane clowning not only for TS Easter eggs but also chats and reacts lmao

Bradi R

^^^^!!!!

Sydney

Fearless, Fifteen, You Belong With Me, & Superstar are the only OG’s I prefer!!!

Alexandra Bennett

Honestly Fearless has never been a favorite album for me and I could never put my finger on it but you guys saying a lot of the songs are really loud / noisy really made me realize that’s why it’s not one of my top albums. Still iconic obviously but hard on my ears sometimes

Bradi R

I feel like your background could use a little string of fairy lights :)) it’s such a cute background and that would make it even better

Cassy

fearless my version 💛🤍🖤 fearless (taylor’s version) fifteen (og) love story (taylor’s version) hey stephen (og) unfortunately this used to be my fav track but then i met a frightful stephen and now the song is so cringey to me but i would choose og because i used to love it so much 🥲🥲 ugh i hate men white horse (taylor’s version) you belong with me (og) my first ever taylor song i ever heard 💛 breathe (og) tell me why (og) i actually find tv more irritating! you’re not sorry (og) the way i loved you (taylor’s version) forever & always (taylor’s version) the best day (taylor’s version) change (og) but i don’t enjoy either version personally jump then fall (taylor’s version) untouchable (og) forever & always piano version (taylor’s version) come in with the rain (taylor’s version) i do agree that the “oh” in og is more natural but i prefer everything else about tv superstar (taylor’s version) the other side of the door (taylor’s version) today was a fairytale (ORIGINALLLL) i feel so strongly about this one lol

Paloma Bennett

I have loved your Chats & Reacts Version videos! I picked Taylor's Version for most of the Fearless songs. Though I did pick the original version for "Breathe," " Forever & Always - Piano Version," and" Forever & Always."

Bethany Andrews

I agree with Bonnie about Change hitting different with the filter of the re-records, eras tour, now buying back her masters, etc etc. I was also surprised how many OG I put on my list, but it did pick Love Story TV

scout

ohh it's so interesting that emily pointed out the "you were romeooo~i was a scarlet letter" as a part she likes in taylor's version cause it BUGS me lol (it's the original in her baby voice for me!)

Annika 📍Melb, AU

Em, didn’t you hear baby Taylor play Change at a bushfire relief concert in 2009? I thought that might be a superior reason for picking the original! 🤩

paulina 🧃

it’s the meltdown over Emily’s decision with jump then fall for me 😂😂 i’m with you Bonny 😄

Summer

I’ve loved the series of videos on this! Such a way to celebrate her getting back her masters 😊

Kim

Are y'all gonna cover Brooks and Dunn???? I am so excited for that! I still hope y'all cover Megan Moroney.

Kim

I feel like I understand The Best day in a way that no one else does. My Mom was my best friend. We related to this song so well. My Mom passed away in 2022, so this song always hits me hard cause it was one of our favorites. It makes me cry too Bonnie.

Dominic Cuomo

What’s funny is I thought I would pick the originals but I picked Taylor’s Version for the ones I don’t listen to but I picked original for some of the classics like Love Story, Forever and Always

jule ✌🏻

I feel so passionately about The Other Side Of The Door TV it is SUCH a superior version of the song in my opinion it shot up in my rankings after Fearless TV came out

Lu Miraelmar

I also prefer hey stephen OG but it's just because I was obsessed with that song so it is nostalgic with her baby voice

Cara

The cut in TOSOTD (taylor’s version) is when she says “and the faded picture of a beautiful night”, just before “faded” !!💛

Lucie S

I'm having such a moment with Fearless right now 💛 So this video came at the perfect time thank you ! 🥰 I adore Taylor's Version I think it's perfection - it makes me soo excited for Debut TV cause I think TV could really make me fathom the album !

C

Yes! Was just about to comment this. Bonny you had it right! It's two vocal takes comped together, and it's not super pleasant. She did it in one take in the original!

Honey

Loved these videos! I commented on a previous “Our Versions” video saying that because I became a fan around Lover era, I’m so tied to the TVs because they’re the ones I know sonically and emotionally they mean more to me. But I also wanted to add to this thought - I think it’s also that because the TVs are with her mature, more developed voice and it is her singing at a later age than when the originals were recorded, I feel more connected because it feels like I’m listening to the Taylor that went through all she went through to get to the Eras tour, Midnights, Tortured Poets etc. if that makes any sense?! 😅 I totally respect the originals but the TVs just feel special because they’re all sung from the added perspective of the woman that’s gone through more of her journey. And I’m so excited for that reason to be hopefully getting Debut TV. I think Rep as it is is perfection because she’d had life experience then, the emotion is already there. But yes just my thoughts 🥰 Also some appreciation for the finer details: Bonny’s jumper 😫 so gorgeous and I’m jealous. And Em’s thatched effect mug with the flowers! So cute 🌼

sebastián

is this the branding you mentioned in your vlog i’m seeing in the thumbnail? if so, LOVE how it’s looking!!! 💟

Helena

Absolutely loved this little series of videos!! I was pausing the video before each song and picking my own choices before hearing yours!! Such a fun experience 🫶🏻 (I couldn’t decide between The Way I loved You OG and TV, I’m just weak at the way her voice cracks at the last « I’m cursing your name » in the OG but the TV production is perfection!!)

olivia

im SO glad bonny is also a the best day truther, it will always be my #1 on fearless!!!! makes me ugly cry whenever i listen to it

Madeline

2 things ✌🏼 1: Fearless has been the most important original to get back for me. It’s the album we had the longest before losing, and the one we’ve been the longest without. I agree that the Taylor’s Version is the most well done but it is the only original that I have been listening to non stop since May 30th. I cried and cried and cried the whole time listening through for the first time day. THIS is the music that made me fall in love with Taylor. 2: The way you two say Andrea I’m dying 😂😂😂 to me “On-Dray-Ah” is like an evil step mom from a movie who sends her step children off to boarding school and murders her rich husband. “An-Dree-Ah” is Taylor Swifts sweet amazing mother who raised my favourite superstar to be the most kind, powerful woman around.

Hunter

Absolutely loved this video, love u guys 🫶

Bria Bowen

So for Change, I also thought of it being about the re-recordings like Bonny said. When I first heard it when TV came out, it immediately made me emotional bc of that. Also, I love the new way she sung that last hallelujah too.

Destiny Napier

love yall so much, these videos bring me so much joy!! please do a rep tv and debut breakdown!! would love that

Lynny Smith

She was actually too tired at night to call your name, motherfucker 😂

Justin

Do you guys like the CSI Remix of You’re Not Sorry? I actually only have that version in my playlist hahaha! The standard version has never hit for me, neither OG nor TV. But the CSI Remix is just amazing. Also, for Today Was a Fairytale, the way she says “you took me by the hand” in the OG sounds like she’s smiling and that’s why I love that version more.

Justin

Same! I actually love the way in the OG she makes it sound like a really long word lol “causeyouwereromeoiwasascarletletter” 😂

Georgia Double

Can relate! It makes me cry every. damn. time. Can’t get over it!

Ryan

Bonny your hair tucked in to your hoodie looks so cute and makes me believe a chop would slay js

Ella

On untouchable - the outro is truly superior! The bit that gets me about Taylor’s version though is that ‘oh oh oh ohhh’ near the end, the last oh goes up a tiny bit earlier and that is enough to make me pick the OG every time 😂 I’m just sooooo attached to fearless OG that I really struggle to pick Taylor’s version for any of the songs. Taylor’s version is sooooo good and I love listening to that too, but if I could only have one version forever it would definitely be OG for me 💛

peachysxnrise

hey girlies, I'd LOVE to see u react to conans new album when it comes out!! there's already two singles released and maybe a music video? "this song" is deeply offensive!!!

ems 𓆑 . ₊˚ ﾟ. ✧

I felt the same way as Bonny about Change. For me it was when she sang it as a mash-up with Long Live on the Eras Tour - the vibe for me with The Manuscript was reaching beyond just ATW10, to her saying the stories of these songs aren't her anymore and she's giving them to us so she can let them go. That coupled with the demands on her to say something after Vienna, that mash-up really felt like a message to us that the amount she gave us of her was going to change, i.e. it combining two songs where the main messages are "i had the time of my life with you" and "these things will change." It just felt like the Eras Tour was her giving us everything, and then she'd be moving forward into a freer, lighter place having let it all go. Having been a fan for so long (and loving that song), hearing her describe feeling frozen at the age she became famous, and then hearing her sing "And these things will change / One day / These things will change / One day we will be remembered" really made me feel this immense joy and pride that she was actually moving forward and hopefully setting some boundaries for herself. It hit hard and I just love hearing her sing it from that place.

DemiMarie🤍🖤

Listen to this one daily it was on every burnt CD I ever made back in the day, best version imo😂🫶🏻

DemiMarie🤍🖤

Loved these videos chickens and can't wait to see what you have for us next 👏🏻👏🏻🫶🏻

Sam

Superior new lens!!!

Victoria

If you listen really closely, I feel like it sounds like there's a cut right before the word "faded" in the other side of the door outro. She also sings "to stand outside my window" a bit differently right before the outro!

Quinta Oenema

chickens! Off topic but i would loooove if you react to Dermot kennedy album without fear if you did not already heard it. His lyrics and voice is incredible and im sure you find it incredible offensive

Louis !!

ANY CHANCE AT A REACTION TO VODKA CRANBERRY BY CONAN GRAY?? NEED😭😭💔

Sabine Dordick

I think I might be the only human alive who prefers Fearless OG over Fearless TV for pretty much every song (and I love the Platinum Edition cover too) 🙈🙊

Emilia

How come Fearless is somehow the hardest??? For almost every song, I could make the case for either version! But here we go: Fearless ✨ OG Fifteen ✨ OG Love Story 💛 TV Hey Stephen 💛 TV White Horse ✨ OG You Belong With Me 💛 TV Breathe ✨ OG Tell Me Why 💛 TV You're Not Sorry 💛 TV The Way I Loved You 💛 TV Forever & Always ✨ OG The Best Day ✨ OG Change 💛 TV Jump Then Fall ✨ OG Untouchable ✨ OG Forever & Always (Piano) 💛 TV Come In With The Rain ✨ OG SuperStar ✨ OG The Other Side Of The Door 💛 TV Today Was A Fairytale ✨ (OG) (movie version!!!)

LindseyMarie

Ok, I have to share my Best Day story with you! I DO get it Bonny, it’s been a complicated one for me because it’s so deeply the mom I want to be, but it’s not what I had. My cousin got married last weekend and his new wife (my Swiftie soulmate) surprised her mom with a mother daughter dance to The Best Day! Then halfway through the song, they invited all mothers and daughters up and I only have sons, so I did dance with my mom and it doesn’t magically heal everything, but it was nice in that moment. I think every Swiftie should consider that as a mother-daughter dance tradition, just looking around the dance floor at so many happy tears, it meant so much to everyone!🥹

Martha

Yes!!!

Tricia

What do yall think about a couple of the leftover ones?😂 safe & sound, eyes open…? Sweeter than fiction (rip no streaming tho 🥲) Taylor’s version just for the sake of having a home? 😜 they are superior to me!

Ran

✨HEY GIRLS, I JUST SENT YOU ON EMAIL A LITTLE SOMETHING FROM ME FOR YOUR CHANNEL’S BIRTHDAY✨ hope you like it🥳🎶

Kate Kidd

Bonny’s reactions to Emily’s picks are so funny!!

Reese

This is a very uncommon request, but as small artist named girlpuppy, I feel like you would really love!! She has the pop rock energy with the soft voice! And she has an album called sweetness that I would love if both of you could check out either on or off camera. I met her when I went to her concert and she is a evermore stan with her favorite song being happiness!!!! please check her out both of you would really vibe to her

Jeremiah Bell

I actually think the top works really well! It gives me Romeo and Juliet vibes! Very of that era which makes sense in the context of the Album

Amy Versprille

The fact that the first re-recorded song we heard was Fearless - because she was so fearless in the re-record project as well as in love. She was not scared to re-sing and re-produce her songs - she was fearless! So special!

Antonia

I agree!!

Maria

guuuuuys, Bonny was right, there IS a cut in The Other Side of The Door, it is right before "faded picture", you can hear that it was edited! Still, immaculate song tough

Nicole

How was Love Story the first TV song you heard?? I thought it was Fearless…

Grace

She released love story before the album?

Kellie Mahoney

My mother thought Mean was about Scott Swift 😂 I argued with her when the album came out because she did not believe it was about a journalist

Jasmin

i thought Fifteen is gonna be like 22 to me, something that i have grown out. But it makes me so emotional to have a version of Fifteen, sung by an older Taylor. Back then i loved it cause Taylor is older than me, so it felt like someone more mature sung it. But when I became older than the Taylor in the OG version, i lost the connection to it. Hearing 30 something year old Taylor singing that to me again just hit soooooo hard...

Megan C

I lean towards more Fearless TV versions because of the surprise song versions and the very strong (lol) feelings I had and empathy for her, especially the ones played so early in Eras, after her breakup. The cowboy like me and White Horse night in Las Vegas 😭😭😭 You're Not Sorry in Houston 😭😭😭

Megan C

I love that and hadn't thought about that mashup in that way, but I think you're right!

Breezy Bumbles

Why are y’all singing Brooks & Dunn? So random! I’ll probably find out soon enough.

Breezy Bumbles

Shortbread is the best thing ever invented.

Breezy Bumbles

Thank you for making me sob uncontrollably while thinking about my Mom and The Best Day! When I was 15, I had a very similar situation with my friend group and I would come home crying every day and my Mom was my absolute best friend in the world. Now she is suffering from dementia now and can’t remember all the memories that we shared and it’s so heartbreaking to see when she is my rock. No one will ever love me the way she did. Ugggghhhhhhh! 😭😭😭😭😭

Breezy Bumbles

Never mind. I get it now. I forgot about that cover performance! She slayed that song!

Marta

I'm literally more than a year late to this comment lol but this made me cry, just thinking about a dance floor full of mothers and daughters dancing to The Best Day 😭😭💖 I'm sure you are that mother to your sons 🩷
