Seraphina

Notifications pops up. And I click on! WHOOP WHOOP😭🙌🏼

Yuli

omg good morning pretty bestie pumpkin chickenssss

Cassandra

Omg fun. Not me thinking you were doing an album ranking from your hint last week 😂

anna

I GUESSED IT!! 🤩

Yuli

Emily i just need to bring to your attention that hits different is not on your playlist of all taylor songs on Spotify bff - if i am blind i apologise

Yuli

OKAY HAIR

noah

i do enjoy a pea but i much rather prefer an edamame

ailsaeve

Omg YAY we guessed it!!!!! Covers ranking!!!!

Ran

Hey girlsss I sent you a little present on email and in the “for Em & Bon to persue” chat for your channel’s birthday if you wanna take a look🥳🙌💌

Cassandra

Bestie you may be blind I see it below dear reader

Dany

Finally🤩 I’ve been desperate for a new video 😩

inesrg

i agree with bonny on the pea thing 🙂‍↕️ my parents also celebrate them as soon as i go back to uni

Merit Zoë

Exciteeeeeed for this!!! Also, i Love hearing your food taste and m definitely team Em on the peas! 🫛🫶

Pippa

American Girl number 1 always. simply superior!

Mike Roach

At first I thought this video was going to be the reverse: covers of Taylor Swift songs by other bands. There are some *really* good ones like DragonForce’s cover of Wildest Dreams and Weird Al doing Shake It Off. So excited for these covers by Taylor though!!

Laura (in my eras era) 🫶

Bonny your hair looks amazing with the floral headband and the colour looks amazingggg with the light pink jumper! It’s giving Beyoncé pink panther vibes 🤌

Yuli

Love the heat packs making an appearance i missed them so much they remind me of morning secret song reactions 🥺🫶🏼

Yuli

Sigh to be fair i am getting lasik next week

Sophie

I was just sitting down with my coffee thinking this would be a perfect time for the girls to post and you did!!

leslie griffin

Love coming back to my home and seeing a video post. Quite concerned though today I just saw where Scott had heart surgery. Has anyone else heard this? ❤️

Paula

Okay but yall look so so pretty, also I guessed this one hehe

Cassandra

Your mind will be alive then!! 🍌

Haygen Warren

haven’t watched yet but praying Ain’t Nothing Bout You is on here haha

Jen Mays

I love what you're mentioning with the Brooks & Dunn song. Taylor is and has always been, first and foremost, a music fan, and that just pours out of her with every song, every performance. It transcends everything else and that's what makes all the things she does so infectious. She's performing FOR us, not AT us, and she invites us to join and be a part of it.

Laurie Letendre

Didn't watch the video yet, this is so funny out of context 😂

Amy

Can you do a video of ranking songs written by Taylor Swift for other people?! Like this is what you came for etc xx

Leander

🥲🥹 feels like nostalgia now

j🪩

ahhh im so excited to watch this video! i know its only about a minute long but i love her cover of Umbrella by Rihanna thats on the iTunes live performances ep. its soooo addicting and she sounds so cuteeee

Lison

I don’t have the song playing when they are listening to Umbrella, anyone else?

Julieta

I think it would be fun if you don’t see each others ranking and do a reveal at the end, like you do with the rest of your rankings

Leander

I did type something out to say I wasn’t sure how accurate the reporting was on this but, I’ve just seen Bryan West has reported saying Scott Swift has undergone heart surgery ❤️

Julia

Would it be enough if I could never give you peas?

Lison

For the first like 10/20 seconds! But also now I HAVE to go see the Tom Holland lip sync video just like every time I hear this song 😂

Maya

haha just started the video and it's the first one!!!

hauntedwillow27

YAY love when i get a post notification from yall. also pls consider a fleetwood mac album breakdown because im having a fathoming and i neeeeeeed your guys’ thoughts and input

Andrea Mendoza

yes i was so confused lol but it started around 20 secs later

Annie

Omg the intro was so real 🤣 I loved it.

Olivia W

Oh you girls need to watch the CMT Crossroads episode where Taylor and Def Leppard performed a whole ass concert together, it changed my life as a child. Def Leppard singing Love Story, yes ma’am!!!

Tess7

Thank you for this! I was having such a crappy day and then you two pop up once again- raining joy on me lol It’s so weird that we were just talking about that Crossroads episode in the chat yesterday lol it’s so fun to hear Def Lep sing Love Story with her 😂 I still have the dvd of this- it’s the only episode ever put out on dvd. Taylor was asked to do the show and she requested Def Lep and they were happy to do it. It puts a country singer with a rock band, or other genre to collab together. I had completely forgotten about that Brooks & Dunn tribute she did lol she was great on that. Taylor was a huge fan of Tom Petty-especially his song writing. American Girl was a huge hit for him here in the US. Great video ladies 🫶

Tess7

Same lol

Maya

okay but Taylor never plays riffs, she only plays very simple stuff (which is fine) so you can't really compare her to Billie here

Tess7

It is true, it was on the news that he had the surgery a month ago and is doing well.

Keri 🫶🏻

Yall also need to fathom her cover of Run by George Strait if you haven’t!! SUPERIOR COVER!!!!

Mille Kragerup

This was so cool! Would also be so amazing for you to rank her tour covers as you mentioned - Some of my favorite covers are the “Bette Davis eyes” and “drops of Jupiter” ones from the speak now live album and Doubt from the 1989 tour🫶🏻 There are some really good quality ones, but also a few fun ones one YouTube from especially the speak tour like lose yourself by Eminem or sugar we’re goin down

Sophie

YES I've been waiting for this!!

Lizzie Page

NO DROPS OF JUPITER??? 😭😭😭

Laura

I forgot to comment this request when you guys ranked all the album covers, but I would love a back of the album ranking!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Jenny MacRunnel

I have never seen that Brooks & Dunn performance, I have no idea why as I LOVED them back in the day. That was f---ing incredible! Way up there for me. I've always adored The Phil Collins cover and Untouchable. I'm a little sad that I can't enjoy The City cover that much. I used to love the 1975 and their sound, even though I wasn't that familiar with their discography. I haven't been able to listen to anything from them since TTPD. Matty honestly makes me sick. And its really too bad, The City is a good song. Taylor sounded great though and looked fantastic!

Aubrey McMichael

hoping you guys will fathom the secret messages in the lyric booklets!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Mille Kragerup

RIGHT? 😭 but they said they might do a ranking of tour covers where it will for sure be mentioned

Mille Kragerup

There are so many good speak now ones but I trust they will have their moments

Cassy

omg i needed this video 🤍 so stressed out because of frightful men that i have to work with 🙄 and just needed some of your bubbly happy personalities so was watching old videos this was perfect timing to come back and see a new one 😍

Ally ❤️

Right?!?! Or Betty Davis Eyes

Mex

the connection to def leppard is robert allen - taylor's tour manager. he is the younger brother of def leppard's drummer, rick allen. robert allen is the british guy who asks taylor if she wants to have half empty stadiums if she dives into politics in the meeting with taylor's mom and dad about the midterm elections in miss americana

Cassy

i have always loved her cover of september. i mean the original is superior obviously but her version is so different and incredible 🖤💜

Lefty

Bonny your hair thing is so pretty! One of my favourite covers is when she did Michelle Branch's All You Wanted on the Speak Now tour, her voice and vocal range were absolutely perfect for that song. If you're going to look at more covers perhaps you could go over more from the Speak Now tour? I deeply need Taylor to start doing covers again because she always makes them her own and is fully IN the song

UhJustAsh

You guys should rank the back covers of the vinyls

Cassy

the city cover is ICONICCC but i always think of the lyric “you hung me on your wall” when i see her standing there in front of the 1975 house set in her pretty bejeweled dress 🥲 ugh

Maggie

😂

Aubrey McMichael

we absolutely need a ranking of speak now tour covers!!!

hauntedwillow27

so glad you didn’t skip untouchable. i was scared.

Bison Matt

YES !!! My third favorite cover of hers.

noah

i hope tomorrow is better for you tess 💖

Maggie

The Tom Holland lip sync is actually perfection. He is a legend for that performance

MarkH

Really enjoyed this video! I had never heard that first one before, or the Chicks cover. But I did want to say that The City cover was in January 2023, but she had performed Gasoline/Love Story with Haim in July 2022, and exile with Bon Iver in October 2022. So it was not her first time on stage since the pandemic, Also, if you ask me, she and Matty were at least flirting, if not more than that, at this time. But I think you captured one of the keys to Taylor's success when you said that for her, it is always about the music. That's why she knows every song on the planet (it seems like) and can get up and sing that idiot Dave Grohl's song when he was too drunk to do so, among many other examples of her just singing ex tempore and knowing all the words and the music.

Annie

Girls! In case you didn’t know, Untouchable was covered by Taylor because Luna Halo was 🛴🤢’s favorite band

SomDrum

I haven't even watched yet, but I NEED you to know that I am here for the pea convos, I am here for the BTS of selecting tier names, I LOVE it when you leave in fun little bits and details at the beginning of videos!

Almq

Girls, yall forgot : Nashville Breathless I’m every woman (Technically her cover of that fall out boy song from Victoria secret)

Wendy Davis

Really fun ranking, thank you. And the pea thing, hysterical. I personally very much do not like peas at all.

BrooklynSwifty

Her cover of Riptide is perfection. Those little smiles are too much!

Katrina

Oooh yeah I listened to that one a lot.

Erica

Oh her and joe were long over when she went on stage at the 1975! 🤪

Tess7

Thank you!

Heather

Now you need to rank other artists covering her songs 😅

P.R. Dayvonne

OMG I'm also a peas stan! They have such a fun texture, are so playfully-shaped, and also have quite high amounts of protein since it's a legume~ as a usually-vegetarian they're pretty affordable and nutritious. But most of all, I love the bright green colour and how they visually improve every meal :)

SomDrum

I also really appreciate you putting the covers in the video for us all to fathom! It's fun to watch alongside you and is a refreshing way to do a ranking video. I'll be honest, sometimes just seeing the ranking back and forth has gotten a little bit stale for me, but this was such a nice twist! Thanks, ladies <3

Steven

Def Leppard was a whole concert. It was CMT Crossroads (2009) where they bring two groups together to perform. She reached out and got Def Leppard's Drummer to contact her to get it going. Andrea is a big fan of the band also. They did a few interviews and played a few songs from each other. Hysteria, Photograph, Love story, Picture to burn, Our song and Two steps behind.

Lexa

I really wanted Big Star with Kenny Chesney!

j🪩

fully agree

j🪩

this reminded me of the video where they accidentally kiss LOL

Mia Morgan

Thank you soooooo much for this video, the following covers send me into orbit: Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow- Can't Stop Loving You - Ain't Nothing About You 🫶🏼

Mia Morgan

THIS ONE OMG YOU ARE CORRECT

Katie G

Maggie Rogers' cover of Tim McGraw (Spotify Single) is so superior!!!

Allie

When I suggested ranking covers it was PURELY for this song and they didn’t do it (this round) 😫😫😫

Destiny Murtaugh

I need a tier ranking of every single eras tour mashup

Michelle

I just moved apartments and I’ve been binge watching your vids while I unpack and settle in and it’s made this chaotic process so much better 🫶 Taylor’s covers are actually so superior I wish all of them were on Spotify

Hannah

I looove the riptide cover!!!! It’s so much fun to sing along to too, she just knows how to honor and make a song her own in a perfect way!

chatsandreacts

OH NO so sorryyyyy, we will save this one for later 💖

Scott

You guys really need to get a copy of the CMT Crossroads episode where Taylor did a whole concert with Def Leppard and react to it. From the reaction it seems you don't even know this exists. It is a perfect patreon reaction.

Scott

Her cover of George Strait's Run also would have been great for this video. It is a classic from another tribute concert like the Brooks and Dunn cover.

Luli Swiftie

love this! how about drops of Jupiter?

Keri 🫶🏻

They’ve spoken about it before! It was not scooter however but Scott Borchetta

emma 🌷

excited to watch this on my train ride home 🫶

Carol Wells

I don’t like peas at all

Annika 📍Melb, AU

I’m with Bonny on the pea situation. I will eat them if someone else has cooked for me and put them on my plate but never in my significant amount of adult years have I bought or willingly consumed peas 😂

Connor Tabor

I would looooove some Coldplay videos from you guys!! They are so superior. My parents raised me on Coldplay they mean so much to me🫶🏻

Meagan

Both your hairstyles are so cute and superior!! Also loved the chat at the start. I'm with Bonny on peas!!

MO

Love thisss Guys rank the collabs pleaseeeee 🥰🥰

Kristin Kline

I think she did the tom petty cover was because John Mayer also did a TP cover. He did “free falling” and it was maybe a way to connect(?) or show how she knows tom petty too?

Meagan

I hope you are okay Cassy ❤️ sending love

MO

Where is (my songs know what you did in the dark) With fall out boy ??? 💔

Laurent D

I would still love to see you two dive into The 1975's discography, I think no matter what you think of it, it would be really entertaining for reactions and there's a lot lyrics to dive into!

Brittany Diamond

Fiiiiinally some love for the September cover. There was so much weird, unwarranted backlash for it at the time and it deserves to have a moment.

Aloha Record Sargent

Taylor loves Tom Petty! Maybe she was inspired to cover American Girl because she was traveling all over for the Fearless tour at the time? Anyway, here is what Taylor said about Tom Petty in an interview: "To me, Tom Petty represented a kind of songwriting I idolized: complex simplicity. It said so much in the lyrics, the concepts, the stories, the message, the nuances…but always brought you back to a hook that got stuck in everyone’s head. He motivated thousands of guitarists to learn to play just because they wanted to be able to play ‘Free Fallin’. Count me as one of them.”

Kaylee

I also work with very frightful men and often find myself here to cope 🥲💞

Kaylee

I revisit the Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow cover quite frequently. I’m obsessed with her vocals in that one!! It’s so superior. But I hadn’t heard many of these covers before! Such a fun video!

Pippa

I would love this

Jenna Bolmgren

Am I losing it or wasn’t Vance Joy an opener for her 1989 tour?? (I went to the Mpls show, but wasn’t as massive as a Swiftie as I am now, knowing all the details about everything 🤪) also, I know we as a community haven’t fully discussed Cornelia Street, but after I saw her perform “The City” at the 1975 show, “this city screams your name” made me question some things 🫣

Ana E

My most replayed Taylor cover is actually “Run” by George Strait! He was onstage watching, in the same style of the Brooks & Dunn cover 💛 You guys should watch it too! And also I really love her cover with Fall Out Boy in the VS Show!

Aloha Record Sargent

The Def Leppard performance was part of a whole show they did together, with a mix of both their songs and her songs!! It was a "CMT Crossroads." Also, Taylor's tour manager is the older brother of Def Leppard's drummer! But it all came about because Taylor said in an interview that the only band she would ever do Crossroads with was Def Leppard (she's a huge fan -- even knew their more esoteric songs). They saw the interview and reached out to her!

Jenna Bolmgren

Omggggg I am just learning that Untouchable is a COVER?!!!!!!!????!!

Ana E

Speak Now tour cover reactions would be a fun video, considering she did one surprise cover song for each city! Lots to fathom 💜💜💜

Pippa

I need you to react to the piano version of American Girl she did during REP ERA! honestly superior.

rosie

wait til you girlies find out that BBC radio goes up to number 6 hahaha

alexander

am i absolutely insane and crazy to think that ts12 is going to touch into a lot of country themes?? maybe not full on country but im just sensing a shift...

Andrea

Girlies the red tv era was before midnights, so the 1975 performance is the most recent one we have, which is crazy 😳

Andrea

Oh god september will always be my favourite cover of hers, it moves me in ways I cant explain

Aloha Record Sargent

This was such a fun video, and I totally agree with your ranking for the #1 cover song!

Hannah Grace

Here for any coldpay content !!!

sarah

shout out to emily for making the tier ranking!!!! we appreciate it 🫶

Annika 📍Melb, AU

No wonder baby Taylor didn’t get signed off that demo. 💀

Cole Jones

I’m just a tad offended that her cover of Run by George Strait wasn’t part of this ranking. You two MUST listen. It’s truly one of the best covers ever! It was part of a George Strait tribute where she performs his song in front of him, similar to the Brooks & Dunn one. Her vocals (especially for early Taylor) are 10/10. And GS is watching, just in awe of her. God it’s so so so good.

peachysxnrise

Lmao yeah we have many bbc radio channels (6 maybe?) in the uk, they all have different specialties e.g. radio 4 is talk shows and stuff, radio 1 is like the biggest hits, radio 2 is more chill bu still music etc, so you’re kinda write that bbc radio 2 is for when you’re less famous 😆

Kiki

The TS12 bit at the end has been so me recently. I just started thinking about how there's going to be a concept and an album cover and we don't even know what it is yet. I fucked myself up one day just thinking, "TS12 is going to have a NAME at some point." I've gotten so used to everyone calling it TS12 that it hadn't yet occurred to me it'll be something else someday soon. It's exciting to think about 😂😂

Cole Jones

Yes!!! Just commented the same thing!

Annika 📍Melb, AU

You just know that Taylor was living her coyote ugly fantasy with those dance moves 🤩 and Andrea was clutching her pearls. 🤣

Bobhog

OMG thank youuuuuuu for including the music!!!! <3333333

rosie

omg coyote ugly SUPERIOR movie

Emelie

True! But she also performed I miss you I’m sorry with Gracie at the eras tour plus the this is what you came for performance! Might not be counted as “real” covers though

Emelie

I’d love that!! Plus some more electric guitar like in so highschool would be iconic

Hannah

I’m with Bonny on the 🫛. I’ll eat them but they are absolutely average and I’d rather not have them.

Bison Matt

Cole is 100% correct. Her cover of George Strait's 'Run' is impeccable. Also the brief commentary by Taylor before singing. "Just do it for about 25 years and it'll feel real natural" is so apropos now, in retrospect. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/Aly41-rpd6M?feature=shared

izzy 🪷

I totally feel the same!! Never met anyone else who felt the same

Magda

I would absolutely loooove to watch videos dedicated to each tour and all the covers and surprise performances!!!!

izzy 🪷

The stuff you said abt Matty putting her on a stage was OFFENSIVE!! I'm still overwhelmed too!

Ella

Literally forever feeling blessed to have been at that 1975 concert. Life-changing indeed!!! I actually really love the 1975’s music which is very internally conflicting for me 😂

Ella

On the BBC radio thing, there are actually 6 😂 (don’t think there are any more numbers, but there are things like 1Xtra) and they are all different vibes. 1 - Generally for a younger audience (15-24), heavy focus on pop / contemporary and charts. 2 - For a slightly older audience than radio 1, but still pop / contemporary. Artists often transition from being played more on radio 1 to radio 2 over time (as someone about to turn 30 I am more in the radio 2 audience catchment now I think 😂) 3 - Classical music focus 4 - Mostly talking based rather than music, often about more serious topics 5 - Radio 5 live is for sports coverage 6 - Alternative music

dotty

omg yuli u cant be saying this i miss eras and early morning videos with the chickens so much 🥹🥹🥹

dotty

you besties are really just the cutest little winter mouse baby chickens there ever were

Kirrily Lewis

Love it! Hadn’t seen or heard most of these. Very cool and interesting and so fun to see her in her element and so fearless. She inspires me every day to be more fearless. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on lordes album. Are you guys gonna do a breakdown or something? U simply must it’s so iconic!

Rose Ellen

I fear that TS12 will be like a happy autumn/fall album instead of a sad one like Red and I fear it will be the death of me 😂

dotty

unfortunately her performing the city was one of the best things that has ever happened to me

dotty

im sorry this is an infant 😭😭😭😭 never forget baby taylor

Josie Bicknelle

I have been commenting for what feels like years at this point that the intro drums of ‘the city’ by 1975 sound EXACTLY the same as the drums in the outro of MBOBHFT … take from that what you will

Josie Bicknelle

My favourite little thing to do whenever I listen to MBOBHFT is to queue the city afterwards, excellent transition/vibes

Jordan Conger

I haven’t made it past the 13 minute mark but I am so hoping that her cover to Run by George Strait is in here and just out of era order! It is so good- I listed to it so much at the time.

María Moine

Nooooo you missed the best one!! Run by George strait 😭😭😭

Bradi R

Would LOVE to see you react to Taylor swift unreleased songs!! She’s always been a songwriting marvel, the way she structures them, melodies, word choice… I would be feral for a chats and reacts reactions to unreleased songs

C

The ts12 convo at the end of this has me soooo excited, I can't wait to experience another album release with you guys <3

Hannah

Haha I’m glad we’ve found our people 🤝

Laura

I don’t think we’ll ever get confirmation of this but walking on stage and drinking Matty’s whiskey seemed like a weirdly intimate thing for her to do.

Hannah

Also Taylor sounding so young covering Umbrella? She was about the same age when covering it as Rihanna was when it was released.

Kelli E.

I will die on the hill that Untouchable OG sounds like it's a rock cover of a Taylor Swift song - I almost can't fathom a room of rock dudes writing that song in the first place! I'm forever grateful that they approved her cover of it to be recorded, it's one of my all-time favorite songs!

K

Wait, why do we think ts12 is coming?

Jeebs

I was at the Vegas show for the Sparks performance!

lane ♡︎

I can’t believe I’ve never seen the Brooks & Dunn cover before! I could watch that over and over again. She wants you to feel what she feels and we so feel it!!!

Yasmim 🤍

My favorite will always be her cover of Train's Drops of Jupiter, it's so good 🥰 Btw, a video reacting to the performances with guests from the 1989 tour would be awesome.

Alexia 🫶🏻

You guys just reminded me that she got be dropping the new album … I keep zoning in on deput tv that I forget she could fuck me up with 15 plus new songs

lane ♡︎

The day you guys finally talk about rep again will be such a splendid time 🖤

Alicia L

I was there when Taylor came out at ten 1975 and I practically died 😂💋 the entire crowd was stunned. Everybody was like oh my that’s Taylor swift. She was bejewelled and she was amazing.

Lindsay

One of my favorite covers by Taylor is Bette Davis Eyes. Constantly on repeat on Spotify.

Anna Nikoline Sørensen

Have you guys considered starting using Apple Music? You can add any song you want, so you would be able to listen to all the covers🫶🏻 I did it with the sound from my Eras tour surprise songs, so I can always listen to them🥰

Brooke Penniman

I love the September cover because my son was born on sept 28 so the date change :)

✨Bri✨

This video gave me so many aha moments!! Loveeed it! And her cover of brooks and dunn is actually incredible. Girly sanggggg

Lindsay

BONNY!! It’s BBC - RADIO - 1 !!!!!! Help 😂

Courtney D

Tom Petty was a very important and influential American song writer that Taylor admired, I remember her making a statement after he passed away praising his songwriting, so this choice was probably not so random at the time!

Kim

Please cover some country artists. I grew up on country music and I am loving these newer country artists like Megan Moroney, Morgan Wallen, Riley Green, Zach Top, and Ella Langley.

Kim

I hope y'all do her cover of Drive by Alan Jackson. It's one of my favorites. One of her old vlogs had Ronnie Dunn in it.

sofie sandrini

Bonnie that color is made for you - the color palette is palettinggg

Summer

Loved this video so much!! We defo need a ts12 predictions video its just too exciting to think about

Dori McDowell

Album cover will be orange plaid 😆🤡🧡

Ella

Yessss this!!!

Lunarian ❤️‍🔥

"Im sorry this is an infant" JUST THREW ME AHAH I LOVE U GIRLS SO MUCH

Kim

Y'all need to watch the full episode of CMT's crossroads Taylor and Def Leppard. I had it on dvd. It's so good. In the episode you see bts clips and she said that Andrea was a big fan of Def Leppard.

sofie sandrini

maybe I'm deluded byt every baby Taylor cover went to my top category (at the bottom) I actually loved them

sophie

i love that this video is continuing the saga of bonny always saying bbc 1 radio instead of bbc radio 1

Doreen

BONNY AND EMILY PLEASE REACT TO CROSSROADS with Def Leppard! It's so Iconic!!!

nikki

I loved this bc I haven’t paid much attention to her covers, so this was fun, but I have to say I deeply enjoyed the opening discussion on peas. Iconic.

Bailey

co-signing this comment :) please do it!

maya zutra

Bonny hates peas in her guacamole 🥑 will never forget 🫡

LeafyJean

Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow is my fav cover of hers!! And would love a 1989 surprise guest video!!

Juliane

I wish you would react to some covers of Taylor's songs by other artists too...

Lauren

Her see you again 1989 tour cover changed lives….

Danielle

It was such a fun episode. I think Hysteria was my favorite cover. Or when love and hate collide

Leilani Willcox

This was so fun to go back and watch Taylor’s covers with you guys 🤩

Danielle

For performances outside of her concerts I'd also recommend: White Blank Page- Mumford & Sons (on BBC Radio 1) Drive- Alan Jackson (tribute special) Run- George Straight (tribute special)

Taylor

You should rank artists who have covered Taylor’s songs! I’m thinking Maggie Rogers’ Spotify cover of Tim McGraw

Takara

Same I think that song suits her so well and I also just love that song !!

ChloeThePayne

LOVE this concept, i never considered adding the covers to my playlist so this was a crucial reminder!

Renee S Smith

I just made avocado guacamole hummus

Ally ❤️

I am so sure she could fill a whole other C&R video with elite covers :)

Renee S Smith

Have you guys reacted to her Crossroads concert with Def Leoppard. Can you even find that?

boliaam

Drops Of Jupiter MIGHT be her best cover ever.

Emilia

Ain't Nothing 'Bout You got stuck in my head ALL DAY yesterday 😭 had to stop myself from singing that chorus out loud during work

Ellen Jarrett

OMG I love def leopard but I did not know Taylor sang with them?!?!?! I fully died. I will be listening to it daily for the rest of time. Thank you chickens, you've done it again.

Chloe H

Could you rank tour/performance mashups outside of eras surprise ones?

Amanda P

I feel like she may hold TS12 to have all her attention on Travis in his final (and 13th!!) football season before he retires! She’s been giving full WAG era (and that would only put TS12 at early 2026 so not that far off) but who knows, she is a multitasking queen that’s for sure!! 🫶🏼

Hannah

No baby Taylor SINGING HER HEART OUT covering Hopelessly Devoted is everything. I understand those demos were maybe not enough at the time to make her stand out as a prodigy like her songwriting later did but she did put her heart into them.

CheriMichele

Can’t Stop Loving You was meant for her. I screen recorded it and converted it to an MP3!

Val

The synth for her cover of Carol King sounds so much like the 1975's music !!! I felt like it was so similar to theirs songs "If I Believe you" and "Change of Heart"

Emma

Taylor’s Victoria Secret performance with Fall Out Boy ‘My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark’ is one of my absolute favourites ever!

Laura

What about Bette Davis Eyes and Drops of Jupiter covers? Here's the thing tho... I had no idea that Untouchable was not an original Taylor Swift song! Never knew it was a cover. My mind is B L O W N. Riptide and Drops of Jupiter are my two favs. Untouchable simply is a Taylor Swift song in my mind, so I can't call it a cover.

Laura

American girl is I C O N I C, as is Tom Petty. Such an important song from my girlhood, love her cover.

sierra

look idk how but i have never seen her riptide cover that was suuuuuperior that was top tier for me that was chefs KISS

sierra

my top 3 would be: 1) can’t stop loving you 2) riptide 3) ain’t nothin bout you. suuuuuuperior

Sam B

Hating Coldplay is 100% pick me behavior!!!

Kellie Mahoney

Omg, I about had a meltdown when the Better than Ezra song came on, I listened to this to death!

Dorka

I feel the same about the enchanted/wildest dreams mashup as Bonnie and so happy I'm not the only one!!!

Jana L

Oh Emily I can relate so much to your pea love 😄😍 I‘ve just realized as well - I feel seen hahah

Lauren

Her cover of Drops of Jupiter is always something I go back to. That was my comfort song during some really difficult times and then her covering it? Too much. Such a superior cover 🙌

kristsn

I really like your new profile picture! It’s so cute and so pretty!Love you both!

Abby Whittaker

Her cover of “run” by George strait at a George strait tribute show was also incredible! Same situation as the brooks and Dunn cover.

Ashley Moore

Sometimes I forget they’re Australian and then they hit me with an “haytch que” for HQ and I remember lol

Phil

Would love some Coldplay reactions on the Patreon!

Regina Phalange

Important to know about Def Leppard. One of Taylor’s managers/team is the brother of one of them. They actually re-recorded some of their hits to regain control of the masters before Taylor did. She likely took inspiration from this + had someone in her team who understood how this process worked

Anika W

spotify just randomly played me a recording of taylor coming out at a kenny chesney concert and performing big star and now i'm OBSESSED

Alison

Brit here 🇬🇧…. In summary:- Radio 1 = youngsters. Radio 2 = middle-aged audience. Radio 3 = classical/opera etc. Radio 4= News and current affairs & Radio 5 = sport. The R1 live lounge is iconic (& they have issued compilation albums) ❤️🎸🎤

Kristin Ranae

100% my favorite cover is I Can't Stop Loving You. I wish it was on iTunes so I could put it on my Taylor Playlist. I waited the entire video wondering if you put this cover on here. It's hauntingly beautiful!

Georgia Turner

taylor and Def Leppard did a few songs together, they did Our Song, Love story, Should've Said No and a few other Def Leppard songs

Emily Warfield

“Tell me why” could be a fun category

Esther Newman

lol just wait til Em and Bonny find out how many BBC radio stations there are

Ayush

You guys need to watch her cover of ‘Run’ by George strait. A contender for marvelous tune.

Victoria

I also love peas 😂 I used to order a side of peas at Indian restaurants and my friends never understood 😂😂

Christine Weidner

What’s about drops of Jupiter cover? She also did so many covers on Speak Now tour.

Aubrey McMichael

would love if you guys reacted to the haim episode of therapuss!

Courtney A

Where would y’all have put her cover of “Run” by George Strait ?!

Gia

Nashville was my fave cover!

Esther Newman

I would die for another duet between Taylor and Stevie today - especially with Taylor's mature vocals and catalogue to choose from! Just imagine a The Prophecy x Landslide mash up, All Too Well x Silver Springs, Gold Rush x Gold Dust Woman, Clara Bow x After The Glitter Fades x YOYOK... I'm sure there are plenty more!

Cassy

my top 3 are 1. untouchable 2. will you still love me tomorrow 3. can’t stop loving you. i had never listened to the first one or the hopelessly devoted cover omgggg im crying over baby taylor 🥲 i would love her to cover that again i just love that song

Juliane

Maybe you were inspired by my suggestion of covers, but in my case, I meant others singing Taylor's songs. Maybe one day you could do that one too. ❤️

Dswiftie

I enjoyed this video. It was so good hearing little Taylor's voice. I really enjoy when you come up with different ways to look at Taylor's disography

Eloise

your reaction to bbc radio 2 was so funny 🤣🤣 in the UK its seen as the radio station for older people because it plays more 70s/80s and hardly any current songs

Gabby V

you guys bringing up coldplay right before the infamous concert incident is so funny

Will McNally

An idea for tier ranking categories is to just use the lyrics from Loml: It was legendary, it was momentary, it was unnecessary, should have let it stayed buried. Haha

Anna

The 10 Things I Hate About You table dance😂 Iconic. I didn't know a bunch of these covers! Great idea for a video. "September " has been on repeat since I found it. I love the original versions of "American Girl", "The City" and "Pour Some Sugar on Me", so those feel like they need to be at the top. With "The City" I feel like it was such an amazing performance. Iconic dress, iconic surprise appearance, and this version of Antihero is my favorite. Singing Antihero+The City, just her and her guitar, hitting every note and having fun...

Elis Llinares

But what about White Blank Page?? That cover alone made me a Swiftie.

Raegan Williams

I’ve considered myself a bonafide swiftie since 2006, and had no idea untouchable was a cover!!!!!!! I feel got over on 🙃😂😂😂❤️💜

Kirsten Marie

The Phil Collins cover haunts me! Love it sooooo much.

Kirsten Marie

lol! Hope they comment on it next video. I love when they peruse

Martin Müller

You haven't watched the MTV Crossroads performance with Taylor and Def Leppard?

Kris

Screaming that yall didn’t rank baby Taylor’s cover of ‘I’m every woman’ it’s iconic 😂

Hayden Brice

You can also do that with spotify using local ! I have all of her unreleased songs that way

Zosia Dabrowski

I love her cover of Doubt with Mary J Blige as guest star!! Amazing

Zosia Dabrowski

Also I didn't realise a mashup of Enchanted and Wildest Dreams was a thing Taylor already did, we had this mashup custom-arranged for our choir by Kenter Davies and we performed it this year!!

Leah Rose

That's the one I was thinking of. One of my ABSOLUTE favorites!

Caroline Turner

Ahhhhhhh we didn’t have Bette Davis eyessss!!!! The absolute besttt!

kennedy.b4

We need a part two to this!!

Michelle G.

I love this topic. Maybe also do other artists doing Taylor’s songs

Michelle G.

Bonnie your hair is perfect here

Emma

I 🫶 this but pleaaaaseee do a part 2 😍 I think about her covers of White Blank Page - Mumford & Sons, and Run - George Strait all the time and would love to know your thoughts on these 🫶

AshZ

Taylor doing that def leopard performance is making me so uncomfortable lol she was too young to be grinding with 50 years olds, how times have changed haha

alex

Phil Collins cover top 1 forever I want to die hearing this

alex

Taylor singing a Coldplay song is a immediate ugly cry for me 😭

Juliana Martinez

deeply need you to react to all the of the 1989 and red tours surprise guests!!

Spin and slide

I am weirdly listening to Def Leppard play in a park behind me as I see them with Taylor! What are the chances?

Sophie kelly

Would you be shocked for me to tell you that there’s radio 1,2,3 and 4 here in the UK🤣

keira

definitely do the tour covers!!!! would be so fun

Annabel

Loved this! 🤍

Esther Newman

Just listening to FM and thought of another - Dreams x Clean: “When the rain washes you clean, you'll know, you'll know”

Fede

i was OBSESSED with riptide at the time!!! i had no idea Taylor covered it omg that was superior 🤌

Fede

this is an infant 😂😂😂 true!!! that was hilarious

Katie Garnett

I think a video of you ranking other artists covering Taylor would be so fun!

Jaime

The will you love me tomorrow performance always reminds me of this cult classic movie called The Girl On a Motorcycle with Marianne faithful. The hair, the outfit. I always wondered if that was the inspiration

Jaime

Oh!!! and Marianne faithful also covered As Tears Go By From The Rolling Stones. (She was mick jaggers girlfriend)

Chelsea

I think Taylor has also shared that she grew up listening to Def Leppard because of her mom! (or parents)

Chelsea

It’s soo good

ella

her the chicks cover reminds me so much of sabrina covering picture to burn!!! 🥹🥹🥹

Breezy Bumbles

Talking about The 1975 and how crazy that time was……can you imagine being Taylor and hanging out with Jack and Matty while they were recording their album and she was recording Midnights and her being in such a vulnerable point in her relationship with Joe…..AND then having Matty write the sexiest song in the world (About You) for her??????? She must have felt so seen and valued. I totally understand why she fell for him. But he seems like such a crap disturber for stirring up all of her emotions, knowing how lonely she was at the time. I would die if a man wrote About You about me! But all of this, just to break her heart.

Breezy Bumbles

Coldplay is a ridiculously amazing band! I just listened to their entire discography recently and I will never forgive my daughter for getting tickets to see them a few weeks ago without me!

Breezy Bumbles

I wonder if Jack was involved in arranging Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow and also Can’t Stop Loving You? They sound very Jack Antonoff-esque to me.

Breezy Bumbles

Can’t Stop Loving You is my absolute number 1!

Breezy Bumbles

I remember when Taylor performed with Def Leppard. It was for a show called CMT Crossroads where they paired 2 completely different artists together and they each performed each other’s songs together. There were so many other artists that were on this show. It was iconic actually. I watched it all the time back when they actually played music videos on music TV stations.

Ellen

I’m watching this after the TS12 announcement, and dayumn you guys clocked it!

Prue

Untouchable will always be my no.1, I'm such a debut girlie to my core I'm always listening to it and I have such fond memories of being the most dramatic little girl in the world listening to untouchable on the bus on the way home from school. But also baby Taylor should've been it's own category because it's so damn cute like that's just a babyyyy.

Lauren Brit Rey

It’s so funny how culture changes opinion even in 1st world countries. Haha I LOVe her American girl (as an American) cover I wish it was more stripped back is my criticism I wish I could get her more clearly acoustically. So funny to know you guys don’t know Tom petty hahaha

Laura

OMG you were on point!!! On your predictions on TS12!!! Hahahaha

Soph

i loooove the city lol
