WASNT EXPECTING THIS! So excited to watch, Miss Speak Now era being short as hell I needed this 💙💜

Estelle

The SNTV prologue made me cry so i am so excited for what you have to say

Keira Vecchi

For me there is a difference between videos with you guys gone or from before you left! As soon as I started this video I even thought to myself “oh they’re back! It’s the present and everything is caught up”, it’s a very nice feeling honestly because although I love the videos you make for when you’re away or the ones you make while on your trips, there’s just something about watching you two sitting in front of the camera in that spot in real time that’s comforting in a way (if that makes sense lol)! I’m sure it’s not just me too :)

Sivan Moshe

Yay! Was waiting for this! Thank you!

Daphne

YESSS!!!

Renee Albert

It’s certainly does feel different, there’s just something special about watching your present selves talk about the current going ons ☺️

Nele

I read the original 1989 prologue the other day and was so FUCKED UP when she ended it with "From the girl who said she would never cut her hair or move to New York or find happiness in a world where she is not in love" 🩵

Jenn Hamel

So much love for you gals!! 🫶🏻😍🩵💜

Shyla Hoffpauir

😩 omg jump scared me so bad by shouting me out! I LOVE YOU GUYS TOO 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🥹

RL

The way you guys are so appreciative of what Taylor puts out, and just your appreciation for her words, translates to the relationship you have with the Patreon & Discord C&R Fam🤍🤍 I feel so fortunate to have found people who are so excited to share their thoughts about something, and being so comfortable in doing so! ✨Such a great community you guys have built and I’m so happy to be a small part of it :))))

farah abed

this prologue is genuinely one of the most fucked up things she has ever written, i could feel my brain exploding even when i read it for the 3rd 4th and 5th time. First the midnights prologue and then this? this woman is so concerning, no other writer/author could EVER istg.

farah abed

and yes i definitely feel the difference when you guys upload a patreon video that you have just filmed rather than it being a few weeks old 🥺 love you both so much, YOU are our safe space!!!💜💜💜 we're too blessed istg

mieke

slay shyla!! 🥰🫶🏻

Gabriela

The vibe is deeefinitely different. Love you guys in the present hahahaha but also super appreciate not leaving us contentless

Zai Moyano

What a blessed video to wake up to. 💜✨Taylor’s prologues are the perfect summary of every single thing she puts out. She’s able to capture every song and every feeling in a way I don’t understand but appreciate. Also the timeless music video is offensive and sooo well done, i was completely sobbing first time I watched, the lyrics, the feelings, her grandparents, the way it fits perfectly… I still can’t get over it

Evb223

This was so good 💜

Vera

FELT IT when Emily said that Taylor is her friend and that it is wild that she's a global superstar. After all the people showed up at the wedding, I felt weird for a second that I couldn't just text Taylor and ask her if she's okay 😂 like, she's my FRIEND, but I don't have her NUMBER?! And as Bonny said, millions of people feel the same?? Unfathomable

Nele

She is such a good writer. RIP me if she ever writes a book 🫠

Zoe

The way this woman puts words together is unreal, I cannot believe there is a script somewhere that she has written! The things it must say 🫠 and I totally agree she feels like a friend, I literally defend this woman like she’s a sister - and I’m so grateful for this little community that gets it 🥹

raheel

I still ugry cry reading this prologue. I think it’s one thing for Taylor to be generous with her vulnerability in her songs but having her write something without „hiding“ behind melodies and sounds, it’s just idk why but it hits me so hard. Like she doesn’t have to be so open with us and put herself even more in a position where she can be criticized and ridiculed but she decides that we have deserved it for her being this open to us in writing. Sometimes just her words, without music, like captions she writes or these prologues often mean more to me connecting wise, because it’s like everyone can stream her songs you know but only those who really want to know her I feel get to really dive deep with her. Or maybe I’m just such a loser who also thinks in her head that Taylor is her actual friend lmao anyway loved this video!!!! Timeless is a fucked up song that similar to long live I can’t get through singing without my voice ugly breaking 😂🩷🩷🩷🩷

Edith Rosell

There's definitely a difference ❤️ and your silliness and positive energy is the highlight of my day! Thank you guys for just being yourselves 💕

Alina Jade

I loooooved this vid! I would die for a version of this vid with folklore and evermore PLSSSS

Jenny MacRunnel

Are you guys planning on doing a breakdown of all the vault tracks for this album?

Candy

I love you guys in ALL settings etc., however, patreon feels like sitting down with girlfriends for a chat, while YouTube feels like watching a presentation from the outside - still enjoying it, but not a 'part' of it.

maya zutra

yes it feels different!!!!!!! the patreon are like when you post to close friends on IG and the YT videos are for the public ~~~~ I FEEL MORE RELAXED with the patreon videos if that makes sense :)))))

Jenny M

The way Taylor is saying what these albums mean to her so offensive.

YunWon

will you be reacting to the secret songs for the international concerts like Mexico this weekend ?

Nele

this was amazing !! 💜

Patty Minor

Loved in the lyric video at the end there were pictures showing the roots of a tree and the pictures of the past were Taylor’s roots.

Paul Banjawan

Very nice video!!! I hope you guys have plans to react to 1989 world tour!

Nadia Thew

You look STUNNING my girls 💕💕💕💕💕💕

Mia Gregorio

i wasn’t a fan when speak now first came out, so now to have that experience with taylor’s version was so special, it has become one my favorite albums not just by taylor, but ever. i’m so in love with these songs and the vault tracks especially timeless and electric touch 💜💜💜

Zai Moyano

Honestly, I love patreon videos just a bit more than YouTube ones, it feels like we are all besties here discussing things we all love with so much respect and understanding of others feelings and thoughts. We really do love you and the community we have 💜🥺💜

Jaimie C

it DOES feel different! (both you being back & filming in more real time, an d also Patreon videos) I love your YT videos as that's what brought me here, but I LOVE your Patreon videos. They feel so special. 💞☕️☺️ Two silly little chickens having a fun little time with us in our secret club 💜💙😎

Kara Mills

are you going to continue going through the speak now music videos?

Caroline

Speak Now is my STAN album since I was 10 years old when it first came out, and part of me was upset when she moved on so fast from it and is giving 1989 a spotlight with different covers, etc. But this prologue explained enough to me why— this is OUR album. It’s HER album, self written. It wasn’t meant to be an album that everyone and their mother knows. And part of me loves that this album is kinda more special for us true fans and her 🥲🥰🥹

sofie sandrini

We need some Lorde or Lana 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 feels so nice your back and have had a wonderful vacation, you truly deserved it

sofie sandrini

Guys also… please listen to a band called Scarlet Pleasure - doesn’t need to be a Patreon video. But just listen cause your life will be forever changed 🌴💚

Ava Jeffs

THESE LONG VIDEOS GIVE ME LIFE I LOVE YOU QUEENS

Courtney D

I love the intro to this video, thank you for your honesty and vulnerability!! (it makes this space so special)

Maya

i really do enjoy your videos more knowing we are (probably almost) on the same page as far as new taylor information goes :) as opposed to the speak now videos where we heard speak now tv and were watching the videos where you didn't know it yet :)

Erin Corey

Are you going to watch the speak now tour?🥰

Jaimie C

i'm actually living for your simultaneous reverence and irreverence of the vinyl cover 🤭😆💜 relatable!

Elizabeth Brown

I'm so happy to have you guys and hear you talk about Taylor the way that I feel about her. I have NO ONE in my life who even enjoys her popular music. I have so many people around me STILL talking about how she can't sing, how she only makes songs bashing ex-boyfriends, how they hate that she's tall and blonde, and that's why she's successful....it makes me so mad. I LOVE to hear you guys build her up.

Amyisaswiftie13

they dont understand because they will never give her music a chance and learn about her with an open mind. youre gonna have to learn how to turn the heat down when people say stuff like like cause i am an og swiftie and i still struggle with ,y emotions when people trash talk her

charlie

sobbed the whole way thru watching timeless vid😭 the final photo of marjorie and (im assuming?) taylors grandfather, their faces really look like taylor and austin respectively. cant wait to fathom the vault songs w you girls

Ava Jeffs

the patreon videos are so homey and cozy?? it’s hard to explain but they are such a comfort

Hanne

Love this video. This prologue made me really emotional. Taylor describing the end of your teens being the sun setting on your childhood really resonates with how I felt at that time too. I'm also really moved by the last longer paragraph and last lines. Also, you guys should react to Alana Springsteen's song "Taylor did"! She really puts into words how much Taylor means to her fans.

Tess7

I like any video content you two put out. I will say, the fomo of not getting to see your eras tour video was real lol I decided to join your Patreon because I enjoy your youtube channel so much. I had never joined Patreon before and yours is still the only one I’m a member of 😊I’ve only been here a few weeks and I’m still learning but it’s been so worth it.

Kayla Michelle Smith

Can you guys share a link to the video you mention of the vocals comparison between Reputation and Eras?

Ava Jeffs

GO TF OFF EMILY I AM SCREAMING WITH YOU

alex

Angry Emily is the mood of us all defending Taylor with all we have in every discussion she comes up and someone throws shade

lyntara

you have to be a new fan cus of all the unreleased songs we knew existed around the time of speak now castles crumbling was one of the major ones.... it's just called self-awareness and talent honestly. how well taylor knows herself is p scary when u think about it..

Emma

soo excited when I saw the title, watched it, loved it! ❤️❤️❤️ if there ever comes a time where it fits to do it, I'd love a lil chatty chat hehe reading and discussing the original prologue from the speak now not TV version to just fathom her in the moment original thoughts around the album, which is so interesting when we have the hindsight now as well, and it kinda gives even more context to the hindsight as well :) oh and regarding videos that have been recorded more recently vs prerecorded, you're right, it absolutely feels different when it's prerecorded from a while back. I personally feel much more connected to you and the content when it's more currently filmed. it's like, when you're prerecording a long time in advance you're more guessing who it is you're addressing cause you don't know what the viewers in the future will know or what information they have access too and so on, so you feel less personally addressed but when you're recording it closer to when you upload it's like you know much more specifically who you are talking to and addressing and you share the same previous info more or less, so it just feels like I'm more personally addressed and connected to the content. guess it's a bit like the difference between hearing a vault track for the first time versus a newly written song, like the vault is new and exciting and I want that extra content but it has a different feel when you know it was recorded so and so long ago compared to hearing a sort of newly written song with updated perspectives, feels much more personal and you can just connect to it in a different way. That said, the work and effort that you put into prerecording for us so there would be content is so appreciated, still love those videos of course, it's just a different feeling!!❤️

Kim Levy

LOVE YOU TWO PRECIOUS GIRLS! So proud to be a part of your PATREON! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻💜💜💜

Léa

Part of castles crumbling is definitely about the vma incident and when she thought everyone was booing her in the audience

F1Swiftie

Even though I know she is the most famous person on the planet I am still surprised and excited and proud of her when I hear one of her songs in the wild like at UPS or a restaurant.

F1Swiftie

Two things about grandparents: when I was little I always thought of my mom’s parents’ engagement portraits as their movie star pictures because they reminded me of all the 1940s-1950s movies I watched with my mom. I've also been told my whole life that I look exactly like my dad’s mom. She was in a horrific car accident in the late 1960s and had reconstructive surgery including her face so I never really thought of it like that until I saw photos of her when my dad was a baby. Swear it was like I was looking at photos of myself.

Bianka Ozsvath

Marjorie's husband is so tall, handsome as hell! on the wildest dreams reference :)

Alex

Couldn't have said it better myself, Rylee :)

Monica

Superior video! Please tell me you're going to react to the speak now tour

Laura

wow, this is one of my favorite videos of yours to date! Speak Now was an album I really didn't connect with. I was a huge fan of Fearless and Red but I think at 10/11, I didn't connect with the fairytale love/chaotic breakup theme yet and the singles (nor my little pea brain) didn't allow me to see that there was a whole other side of this album: the grunge/angst. With Taylor's Version and the Vault tracks I had a completely new fathoming of this album and the more listening I do, the more I connect and fall in love with Speak Now. Now having been 18-20 I see this album in a whole new light. This prologue fucked me up sooooo hard. The most emotional part for me is when she mentions how Speak Now is the beginning of her meeting setbacks with defiance. I always thought, because of the Miss Americana documentary, that she got out of the headspace of always trying to be the "good girl" during Reputation. Reputation is her most iconic and biggest comeback (literally from the dead I will never get over it) but she couldn't have done Reputation without first having the fearlessness to put out Speak Now and write it completely on her own. She couldn't have done Reputation without first going against Scott's wishes for her to stay in country and not come out with the 80's synth-pop of 1989. And she couldn't be re-recording all of her albums and taking back the rights of her masters without any of the above!!! She is a fucking Mastermind and has slowly been building, with each album and era, the woman we see now: the most iconic and influential songwriter, storyteller, performer, and music artist, THE Taylor Swift. Thank you for this video as always!!

Sara _

I like to imagine that the Timeless lyric video was just Taylor's idea and she had these old pictures of her grandparents and found stock images of like the book and the cardboard box (which really give amateur passion project vibe) and took footage of the fireworks and the beach on her phone and then edited everything herself

McKenzie

The timeless lyric vid is just simply too much

Sara _

Also, I really thought Speak Now TV would be very difficult for me to listen to. I didn't listen to any of the songs on the original album except for Mean for years because I associated it with a really difficult time of my life (this was my stan album until I was about 16 and I'm now 24) and I remember relating some songs to a person who ended up hurting me a lot. But now the TV has allowed me to look at all those songs with less fear and a newly-found love and compassion for myself. I don't relate the songs to this person/situation anymore, but at the same time they have allowed me to recognise how much I have healed over the years. I used to feel such intense shame and anger at myself for ever even having feelings for this person and now I simply don't anymore

Jenny MacRunnel

I finally watched the video! Ignore my question above, you answered it and I'm THRILLED! I have always loved specific songs on Speak Now (Mean, Sparks Fly, Back to December, Dear John, Last Kiss, Long Live, Never Grow Up) but I have actually gone back and fathomed all of them, and my love for this album has grown SO MUCH! I also am having a moment with Innocent, also Better Than Revenge and Haunted. Even Mine, which I never was a huge fan of, but all these songs sound so good now and hit so hard! The vault songs are my favorite set of vault songs we have so far! All of them are good enough to have been on the original album. Just imagine what vault songs we didn't get...

Char

You're back with your mugs! What kind of tea do you usually drink?

Clash Fan

It 100% feels different when it's a "pre-taped" video and one that feels current. Part of it is the vibe, you are a bit more relaxed and casual in the current ones. The Patreon vs youtube are the biggest differences for sure. Certainly since you started making Patreon exclusive content. I can't tell you how much I looked forward to the secret song reactions. More enjoyable than a livestream for me even when I was watching it 3am my time. I can't wait for the tour to start back. Part of it is that it does seem so fun for you guys even though I know it's hard work to produce such quality content.

Thomas O’Neill

Are you gonna react/breakdown the other speak now music videos you haven’t done yet??

Char

When Fearless did win Album of the Year at the Grammys and I did become the youngest solo artist to ever win the award, with that win came criticism and backlash in 2010 that I'd never experienced before as a young new artist. All of a sudden people had doubts about my singing voice, was it strong enough, was I a little bit pitchy? All of a sudden they weren't sure if I was the one writing the songs because sometimes in the past I had had co-writers in the room. At that time I couldn't understand why this wave of harsh criticism had hit me so hard. I believe a popular headline back then was, A Swift Backlash, which is clever, you gotta give it to 'em. And now I realize that this is just what happens to a woman in music if she achieves success or power beyond people's comfort level. I now have come to expect that with good news comes some sort of pushback. But I didn't know that then. So then I decided that I would be the only songwriter on my third album, Speak Now, and that I would tour constantly, work on my vocals every day, and perfect my stamina in a live show. I decided I would be what they said I couldn't be. I didn't know then that soon enough people would decide on something else I wasn't quite doing right, and then the circle would keep going on and on and rolling along and I would keep accommodating, over-correcting, in an effort to appease my critics. They're saying I'm dating too much in my 20s? Okay, I'll stop, I'll just be single. For years. Now they're saying my album Red is filled with too many breakup songs? Okay, okay, I'll make one about moving to New York and deciding that really my life is more fun with just my friends. Oh, they're saying my music is changing too much for me to stay in country music? All right. Okay, here's an entire genre shift and a pop album called 1989. Now it's that I'm showing you too many pictures of me with my friends, okay, I can stop doing that too. Now I'm actually a calculated manipulator rather than a smart businesswoman? Okay, I'll disappear from public view for years. Now I'm being cast a villain to you? Okay, here's an album called Reputation and there are lots of snakes everywhere. In the last 10 years I have watched as women in this industry are criticized and measured up to each other and picked at for their bodies, their romantic lives, their fashion, or have you ever heard someone say about a male artist, I really like his songs but I don't know what it is, there's just something about him I don't like? No! That criticism is reserved for us! But you know, I've learned that the difference between those who can continue to create in that climate usually comes down to this. Who lets that scrutiny break them and who just keeps making art. I've watched as one of my favorite artists of this decade, Lana Del Rey, was ruthly criticized-- She was ruthlessly criticized in her early career and then slowly but surely she turned into, in my opinion, the most influential artist in pop. Her vocal stylings, her lyrics, her aesthetics, they've been echoed and repurposed in every corner of music, and this year her incredible album is nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys because she just kept making art.

brenda 🌸

Yesss definitely feels different pre corded vs current however still love it all

Dawnson D

Haven't done watching but I love ittt. Wondering what she's gonna say for 1989, rep and debut. Btw, do you think "aquamarine" and "sunrise boulevard" are parts of the vault lyrics? Since we already have "crystal skies" and "rose garden".

Cowboy Like Evaaannn!!

The idea that these prologues and the ones yet to come were living in her notes app is so rude!!

Cowboy Like Evaaannn!!

When Bonny said that offensive realisation about Reputation and Speak Now both following up from her two most successful albums I had to take a walk because that was too much!!

MarkH

Love this as always! One thing I really love about your channel and this Patreon is that you live with the songs then come back later to talk about them again. If one is really a fan of someone, one does not just react to their new work--one listens over and over again and one's understanding grows and changes, and you really show that. I also think Taylor is so thoughtful with her work that no one can digest it all at once; it takes a while to fully appreciate everything she has done. For me, I find the production changes on Speak Now TV really noticeable and mostly vast improvements. The echo effect on Haunted is so much more pronounced, the ad libs on Better than Revenge are so much stronger. I miss the drawl on Mean, I confess, and the opening guitars on Sparks Fly are clearer but that makes the fact that they feel slightly out of tune (is this just me?) more obvious. On the original version of Enchanted, when the production picks up later in the song, it sounded to me almost like a Foley board that they use to make sound effects in the movies, but on this version I can hear that they are drums, and that is a big improvement. Overall, I agree with Bonny that the improved production makes it much more obvious that Speak Now is actually a pop-punk/rock album. I think people heard it as country because they thought of Taylor as a country artist, but if Speak Now was her debut, no one would have thought she was country. Anyhow, greatly looking forward to your vault track breakdowns!

Julia Fisher

welcome back chatty little chickens! love you endlessly!!

Bai

Ya'll can't do anything wrong. We keep coming back. Love the long videos! haha

Cowboy Like Evaaannn!!

This video is filled with all the reasons Speak Now is my favourite album 💜

This video is amazing… love your brilliance. Can’t wait for vault track breakdowns those are some of my favorite videos!!💜

Cowboy Like Evaaannn!!

THANK YOUUU, you are so good to us ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dswiftie

I am mind blown!!!!

Dswiftie

Love u guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Katie LaFave

so i did read the prologue when speak now tv came out, but i JUST turned 20 on august 22nd so this was A LOT to fathom now that i'm no longer a kid 😩

Ally ❤️

When Bonny grabbed the album and started saying SPEAK! SPEAK! I burst into tears… it is not an album I related to be fore this rerecord… but it is so important… and the Prologue is just everything. Thank you so much for this video, besties. 💜💜💜

• Sammy 🐍🖤 •

I’m only 30 mins in. FATHOMING! But I remember an interview I saw, for 1989 it was! Where she says when she writes for a new album. She likes to take 2 years to write for a new album. So she can see how the sound is going to go. But the first 6 months of songs she writes. She throws them OUT! Because they will sound like the PREVIOUS album! Like IMAGINE all the evermore songs gone. The folklore. The lover. All gone. Like so crazy! Just so she can transition into the new genre that she might be exploring! Her MIND!!! Like how do you know, from this song on, this is the one! It’s so crazy!!! 😵

Brittany DeLara

Gosh guys. Thanks for this. I’ve been struggling really hard mentally and just haven’t been able to sit down and properly read the bit on the album. But watching you guys break it down is so easy. So thank you for always making the best videos that I didn’t know I needed.

Katie LaFave

I LOVED YOUR PASSION IN THIS VIDEO SO MUCH!!! the pateron vids really are special

Katie LaFave

this album is so incredibly superior!!! I AM UNWELL

xannybee

"It's her coming of age" is illegal from a Maisie Peters perspective!

Katie LaFave

it makes so much sense to me now why so many people's favorite albums are speak now & rep

Carla Seilla

Ladies available on Apple Music is the Eras Tour playlist, Wildest Dreams is tagged Taylor’s Version

Esther Newman

Yet another deeply superior breakdown guys omg thank you! From another long time fan, I definitely relate to Emily's description of experiencing albums in parallels... I haven't seen the Era's Tour just yet as she hasn't come to Europe, but I would argue that it's going to become a third line in that theory. So first line, experiencing an album when it released (aka listening to Speak Now OG on repeat on the school bus, crying to Mean because of bullies etc). The second line, experiencing SN TV as an adult (listening to Never Grow Up in my own flat, crying about that line about your mum getting older too). And then the third at the Era's Tour - getting to experience the album surrounded by so many other fans, old and new. I can't wait! <3

Martina Serlenga

I'm new here on Patreon, and I just wanna say you two have become my new Netflix, I'm just binging every video. Love you so so much

mckenna

Marjorie is now my eras tour outfit inspo :)

Abrielle Wright

That Taylor's Version came out a while ago. It was used for that Spirit movie.

hannah brown

i tear up every time i read the prologue for speak now and i’m so grateful to have you guys who also just GET IT. also… desperately need to know where both of your tops are from in this vid bc they are superior. thank you guys!!

Enzo Reis

Please, please, react to the Speak Now Track By Track interview. 😭🥺💜💜💜

Josee

Y’all gotta re-read the Red stolen version CD insert, it’s a lot to fathom 😳

Jason

LOVE when you are both authentic, it's why I(we) fell in love with you two as soon as I saw the folklore reaction (I know I speak for others here haha). Authenticity is magical. So happy to hear this feels like a safe space for you!

sofie sandrini

I feel like the wedding-folklore in Speak Now is a whole metaphor for speaking up about your truth and deepest inner feelings abt a situation - before its too late and then forever regret will come

sofie sandrini

Im having a mental breakdown over what is being fathomed and spoken About. I truly Think you should put this out on yt. Just if the chance were there for here to see this cause Taylor should.

The Renn Domino Experiment

If Taylor did not write these songs, who did, and why aren't they talking about it? Now is their opportunity to get credit for such great songs. Damned any NDA. Scooter would be more than happy to bring these people to the forefront and shame Taylor for being a fake, so why hasn't he? Why hasn't Scott? Nothing is stopping anyone from claiming they wrote these songs.

Cara M

10 minutes in and this video just made me fathom something new! James says “i’m only 17, I don’t know anything” while Betty says “I knew everything when I was young” 🤯 did everyone else already know about this?!?!

Abigail Roney

The picture of Marjorie at the piano reminds me of Taylor at the piano in the end of the cardigan music video… music is a lifeline for Taylor and she got that from Marjorie🥲

Amy Sass

Just wanted to let you know that this video “hits different”, as do others released closer to their recording dates. I can’t give a reason why, but they do. Also Patreon videos always seem more like we are just hanging out together and that’s why I love them! Emily, I think we all were collectively screaming, “yes!” when you were defending Taylor. From the first time I heard Timeless, it has been my favorite vault track. I always think about my grandparents and my husband when I hear it. I’m so glad to hear you two will be breaking down these tracks soon.

Sarah Horn

I was today years old when I realized the original Speak Now cover is a painting!! 😱😱

Joe Weaver

This comment could get lost in time cause I just watched weeks after it was posted but I'll do it anyway... Two basic thoughts, one...i think the success of Chats & Reacts is because you both make us feel the same way Taylor does. It's a similar connection when you were talking about "your friend Taylor", I think many people that watch these videos think of it as, "I'm going to go hang out with my friends Bonny & Emily for a bit". I've checked YT subscriber to Patreon ratios (of course I have) and you have so many more Patrons that other YT channels that have similar or even slightly more subscribers and it has so much to do with this connection. Then the other thing is how different these re-records are for newer fans that didn't experience the era at the time. Midnights is the only completely new era I've ever experienced where i was listening to it non-stop for months, etc. I know I'd feel differently about albums like folklore & evermore if I'd been there in 2020 when they came out and I totally understand why they mean so much to people but when you weren't there...plus they weren't super commercial so if you didn't know, you missed it (unlike her other albums where you at least got a taste with all the singles). Anyway, I had deeper thoughts into all of that but whatever this is long enough. I still two more videos to catch up on. Not that anybody cares but its kinda fun to have that just there. To be a new Patron & have all these videos. What a dream. But it might be similar to not experiencing the era real time. Plusses & minuses to each particular journey! Ok, that's all. 😂

soph

i am FATHOMING this 2 months old video bc wtf was she doing with speak now ? i would never in my wildest dreams (that wasn't intentional) think about that whole background of her speaking the truth in a way that she hadn't yet. thank you for opening my eyes i'm so concerned.

Kaylea Da Ponte

i just finished watching your 1989 prologue video and it blew my mind. i never used to read prologues because i didn't think it was that important but your guys breakdowns of Taylors prologues opened my eyes and now i'm never not reading a prologue again, especially from Taylor

Deborah

This is the most accurate thing I have ever read

Erinne Carey

I’m still catching up on your Speak Now era videos, this helped me fathom so much. Love you guys! ❤️

Breezy Bumbles

Thank you for doing this. I have always thought that this album should have been called Enchanted and I didn’t like Speak Now as an album title. But you guys totally made me fathom how iconic this title is.

Breezy Bumbles

I do not recommend watching the Timeless lyric video right after shaving your legs! Full body chills and now it’s like I didn’t shave at all!

victoria

she says CATACLYSMIC CRUSHES in both speak now AND midnights????????
