I think she changed Invisible String to The 1 because of the breakup with Joe and it was probably hard for her to sing it. She played it off, but I don't think the set list is as tricksy as she tried to make it out to be. She's added songs in, or changed them out based on guests or album releases, but I don't think there are other changes like The 1, was.

chris rowe and shellback did wildest dreams tv! this love tv was only chris rowe. and max martin didn‘t come back for WANEGBT tv or IKYWT tv either, both songs were also produced by chris rowe and shellback so a lot of people think it's likely that that will be the case for 1989 tv and rep tv too!

I noticed that too but I think it's because it's used as a soundtrack for a movie trailer so it doesn't make sense to hear that part in the context of promotional material, you know? They often do that with songs used as soundtracks: making some parts quieter or even removing them completely or only putting instrumentals. Hope this makes sense!

Such an offensive combo! Obviously a Joe reference to play the last song they wrote together, about their relationship, paired with IFTYE 💀. There are so many ways to fathom this. Of course it can be about her moving on and being OK now, and I love that for her (even if it may not be true every day). "I thought that it would kill me but it didn't" is such a powerful line. She wrote so many lyrics about how fearful she was of losing him and how devastated she would be, and this line negates all of that now. This was also the first show after that new/old photo came out of Taylor leaning against Joe's arm while he was filming in Ireland, likely the same time period when they picked up the Wicklow pebble. This combo could allude to her having forgotten that time, that state of their relationship, the feeling expressed in that photo, ever existed. It is also highly offensive that she used the opening song from Lover, which was overwhelmingly an album about her relationship with Joe and her commitment to him (Lover, Paper Rings) to express the eradication of that symbolism from the songs she wrote about him, particularly by singing them on tour to the point that they are becoming about her fans, her relationship with us or about our lives, and not about some dude whose name she can't remember now.

No one hits like Taylor - NO one. I’ve heard the same song 80.000.000 times now, and there are just no one who can write like Taylor. Like the sentence “i Could’ve taken you places” heard that a million times before just with a new voice and melody. Or else it’s 2 verses and the chorus being repeated 6 times.

In Sweet Nothing, she uses both 'nothing' and 'nothings' and it completely changes the context. It's one of my favorite parts of the song. She runs home to his 'sweet nothings' (meaning the cute things a partner whispers to you) but all that he ever wanted from her was "sweet nothing." It blows my mind that she completely changes the meaning with just an 's'!

The only thing I’ll say regarding Taylor and other artists impact etc is that we all know that it simply isn’t fair to even expect that other artists would achieve the type of storytelling that Taylor does. It really needs to be about having complete separation of Taylor as her own superior entity so that you’re able to enjoy and fully honor other artists simply for what they are, you know? Like, we know NO ONE will ever be like Taylor and write the way that she does. I personally love “Used to Be Young” because it’s Miley fully reflecting on her childhood as a Disney star and the backlash she received from her “retaliating” against all of it. Like I said, Taylor is literally in a category of her own and no one can do what she does, but that’s also what makes other artists beautiful in their own right. 🩵

I'm from Mexico and I was there yesterday. Let me tell you that it was an extra special night, the fans of Mexico and Latin America have been waiting for this for many years! Very funny that she sang "I forgot that you existed" because she literally forgot that we existed haha! But sweet nothing was beautiful. The energy of yesterday's concert was incredible, definitely one of the best nights of my life. It speaks a lot about her as an artist, that she did the entire show, with everything that it implies. She changed the entire Foro Sol stage, which is actually very small, and transformed it. I'm sure all the Mexican fans appreciated it. Anyway, it was incredible, I am lucky to go to the show on Sunday again.

Obsessed with this surprise song pairing. I have a theory that IFTYE was directed at Joe last night. It feels like a CHOICE to immediately wear the blue dress again when she just wore it at the last show and has three others in rotation. Blue is a Joe color. And then she also played Sweet Nothing in the blue dress… I know the song was originally about someone else but maybe playing it last night in the blue dress was a sign to him and us that she’s feeling better and moving on.

The only thing I would add is she also wore the blue dress, which feels very deliberate to me bc she just wore it at the last show, and she has other colors in rotation that would also make sense for her first show in Mexico… red or green for the Mexican flag, for example.

Max Martin is famously reclusive and isn't on social media, it seems unlikely given the production of Red TV and the 1989 TV song released so far that he will. However, if he was a co-writer on any of the Vault songs there may be a slim chance that he comes back, but I don't think it's a guarantee by any means

I think the same thing all the time about other artists! Their lyrics just don’t cut to the bone like Taylor’s do EVERY SINGLE TIME. Even her radio hits are always a consistent banger and have the most offensive lines. I think other artists are truly afraid of being as vulnerable as Taylor is.

Talking about how fans showed up at Jack & Margaret’s wedding……. I was scrolling through social media (can’t remember what platform) but someone had posted a video of Taylor and Joe at one of his family member’s funeral. I don’t understand how people can be okay with violating the privacy of a family at their most vulnerable moments. No wonder Taylor feels like a monster on the hill.
