Emily, I love that Tell me why was the last song you fathomed! It was pretty much first for me as soon as I heard it I fell !! Like play that song on repeat!! Love it. I think it's so interesting hearing people immediate favourites and what took them a little longer

SO I need to play my NJ card here. She def sang "Snow on the Beach" because she was just at a beach with Lana. It was hot and definetly not snowing, but I must tell you that the same beach where they held the wedding was the beach I first saw snow on a beach. I remember waking up super early before class and it was snowing. So we walked the block to the beach and just danced around in the snow at dawn, and it was sooo beautiful. I just kept saying to my friend "This is insane. Why is this so cool??" Being on a beach in the dead of winter when it snows is something really hard to explain. I love that she wrote a song about it so many years after I had this experience. I actually reallly thought she was going to sing it night 1.

OK, I believe we have a pattern going here. A strong, defiant, relationship over song paired with an overt Joe song. Exile (I'm not your problem anymore, so who am I offending now?) and Dress IFTYE (I thought that it would kill me but it didn't) and Sweet Nothing Tell Me Why (I'm sick and tired of your attitude, you say you love me then cut me down) and Snow on the Beach Even New Romantics and New Year's Day, while played for obvious TV-related reasons, are also a single girlie anthem (the best people in life are free) and a Joe song. And in case it was unclear who the message is directed at, she chose two songs (Exile and Sweet Nothing) rhat she and Joe wrote together. In addition to the Joe-coding, I find it interesting that at both shows since the crowds outside Jack's wedding situation, she has played lines that could address the public in this regard. "The voices that implore you could be doing more...I'm just too soft for all of it" and "you might think I'm bullet proof but I'm not".

If I've counted correctly she currently has 54 songs (1989 vault and non-album songs included) that she hasn't played at all, if we add like 10 to that (for extra vault songs to come on rep and debut) she has about 64 songs she hasn't played at all. I don't know how it is with songs that she's shortened down in the setlist, like can she play them?, she played seven but that was ONLY a poem in setlist but like illicit affairs for example and some songs she only sings part of in setlist is that a contender for secret songs? idk but I'm not gonna count that now since she hasn't so far, but I guess that would add, not many, but a few more to songs she hasn't played but I'm not counting that now. So she has about 64 songs she hasn't played at all (depending on number of vault tracks to come). She has 91 shows left (first one of those being mexico N3 aug 26), that is 182 secret songs to come, and she has about 64 unplayed left, so if she plays every single song she's ever put out/we know she will put out so far she's gonna have to do over a hundred more repeats. So I guess the good news is if you've lost a favorite it's definitely possible that you'll get it anyways.

Ooh! Yeah! Interesting! I really wonder which songs she will choose for the very last show. What if she's about ready to drop a brand new album then so she might sing like one "old" song that fits to close the tour with and then like "so yeah my brand new album comes out so and so and I taught you might want to hear the first single" and then plays a song from brand new album aahhhhh(!!!) Although she didn't do any singles for Midnights, like before the album, but how iconic to like announce it like she has with the rerecords on stage, to get us excited for the next thing to come as the tour ends, cause a lot of people will probably be watching live since it's the last show and as of now the last one seems to be November 23 2024 which is just over 2 years since Midnights came out so it's possible at least, maybe, hehe. Oh well, I guess only time will tell.

Going along with what other people have said about Dear Reader, I feel certain that it's going to be the closing of something. Possibly the Eras Tour closing. In addition to her playing I Forgot That You Existed as a fuck you Scooter thing, I also think it could have to do with her playing one her first OWNED songs (since she started the US leg with her first stolen song and last stolen song). Technically it was ME! and YNTCD but I think IFTYE is kind of close to that.

Also I just thought she had a great moment with Jack and Lana at the wedding and so playing sotb reminded her of her friends and the good times they had writing this song together but I like your guess ! Also Lana performed in Mexico City in the same stadium as Taylor just a week prior so maybe it was also a nod to that… honestly it hurts losing this song twice 😭😭 and now on top of that I wanna experience snow on a beach in winter !!!

I did the maths and found that she has 84 shows left, 168 secret songs and 58 songs left that she hasn’t played (including 1989 TV Vault Tracks) so that’s 110 secret songs that’ll have to be repeats or Rep and Debut vault tracks so my guess is that she’ll reset in November

For IFYE... She started tour with Tim McGraw, the first stolen track. She's starting international tour with her first owned track. I swear everything will drop by end of eras. And her last song of US tour was the last stolen track... So I think the last night the last SS will be her last owned track. Now curious if what it will be!
