The Final Boss: Dasan (Patreon)

Good afternoon,

I completely lost track of time a little while working, and I’m still in the middle of implementing all the new animations, but I wanted to take a moment to give you a quick report on the past week.

Yeah, I knew that adding this extra date scene would eat up quite a bit of time, and unfortunately I was right about that. I’ve basically spent the entire week working on animations for it. In the end, I’ve now created 5 animations with different views and transitions.

And yes, I could really use a break from editing images for a while... It's getting a little tough as time goes on. In between, I also took care of a few smaller bug reports, but as I noticed yesterday, a few more have piled up over the course of the week. I’ll get to those as well, but for now I want to focus on getting the date scene finished.

Speaking of finishing things, the scene with Hiba and Tia is finally completely finished now, and is available for both pregnant/not pregnant Tia so that’s at least one thing off the list. For the date scene, however, there are still two variations missing once all the images have been implemented, and I plan to write those next week.

After that, I’m finally done with image editing for this update. I’m not saying that writing all the remaining dialogue won’t take any time, but the most time-consuming part is now finally out of the way.

Once the date is finished, the only major thing left will be the confrontation with Dasan... so I guess that will be my final boss for this update. After that, it will finally be finished.

So I do expect there isn’t much time left until the update is finally ready. Without the date scene, I probably would have been finished already by today... but I still believe adding it was the right decision and that it gives Tia’s story a much better conclusion.

I don’t want to promise too much, but I’m hoping to have the update finished by the end of next week. As always, I can’t guarantee that, but I’ll do everything I can to make it happen.

So I hope you can be a little more patient with me. I’ll also keep working for a while today, at least until all the animations for the date scene have been implemented.
