TUTORIAL FOR THIS WEEK: Urban Sketching - Trees & Plants
Hi all! We are focusing on how to add trees and plants to our urban sketches this week. I don't usually sketch landscapes but trees are often found in our urban scenes. Let me know in the poll below what scene interests you the most. My idea is to sketch these in small boxes but only using a simple outline for the buildings so we have time to focus on the different types of trees. We'll even have an Australian Eucalyptus tree for the warm up!
Thanks also to everyone who sent me encouraging messages and comments last week when I was running behind my usual schedule for the portraits tutorial! 🤗 I had a surprise bit of time on Saturday afternoon to finish it off and spent Sunday relaxing with family so I'm ready for a new week 👍🏼.
WHAT'S COMING UP:
Week Starting 25th March: People Sketching - Crowd of figures in a city (Sketched very small size)
Week Starting 1st April: Urban Sketching - Individual Building
Week Starting 8th April: Portraits - 3 Medium size faces
