I had fun painting the shadows and trying to make a simple structure interesting!

I look forward to trying this. 👍🏻

Hmmm, I'd better go and do the little people tuto first, I think.

So much fun to see the line work go down. Looking forward to trying this one!

It`s always exciting to start a new tutorial and the excitement increases until the end of the sketch ..and also the joy of sketching. Thanks Scottie and have a nice weekend.

I had a bit of a problem with perspective....needed to add roof to the building behind the round portion, but I think it's a decent fix. The best part always is adding the color.

Lynn

Enjoyed this tutorial but did get the perspective wrong and added a roof to the church to fix it. Need to work on that.

Really learned a lot from that one, Scottie, thanks a lot. I’ve wanted to try that spray technique, but I don’t know anyone named Sam, so I picked up a toothbrush in the one-tooth aisle in our local supermarket and gave it a whirl. I am so going to add that effect to my paintings from now on. I posted my result in Chat; take a look before it disappears!

I am the Sam who \came up with the idea to remove bristles from a toothbrush David. I happen to come across your comment on my looking for another exercise. Figured I’d drop you a note so you can see who I am. Happy splatting.

Daniel

This was a really good one. Heaps of different ideas packed into one sketch.
