Hi Scottie :-D. Just wanted to let you know that while I don't always respond on here or show my work - bit shy - I SO APPRECIATE all your Teaching, and Utilise Only Your Work in my Sketching & Watercolour Journey. It is So Practical & you have a Great Teaching Style. Just wanted to let you know that. Thank You for the Hands Video...I struggle Much with them. Looking forward to utilising them.

You’ve asked us about the length of the tutorials that we prefer. I noticed when I saw this one, for the hands, and it was only 44 minutes, I thought “Yay! A short one!!” I often watch the shorter ones first and then rewatch them and do the tutorial. I just finished the street musician and that was 1:10 I think. I find I shy away from the longer ones as they take me about twice as long as the time indicated. Of course, depending on the topic, we often need more time spent on detail. I do love your real time commentary, however. It is so helpful knowing what you are thinking. I love your course. I sing its praises whenever I can!! My work has improved so much and my enjoyment of sketching and watercolor has soared!! Thank you!!!!

I really appreciate having a “method” with steps. I appreciated that you caught yourself almost skipping a step and went back to it. It helps my brain to know what comes first, then next… Thanks so much. Your tutorials have helped me to be a more confident, and maybe dare I say, better sketcher.

Perfect Hands tutorial. Other tutorials on hands I’ve looked at are way to focused on text book anatomy. I like you “dot” approach. Please one for feet?

Somewhere between blown-up gloves and claws LOL

What a good tutorial! Hands seem so hard and to have them simplified and doable is so great. Many great artists didn’t do hands. They hid them in pockets or had them folded. You make art fun again Scottie! 💜

I just joined this group from Kolkata, India a few minutes ago. Must admit how painstakingly the teacher is teaching the techniques! its lot better than being face to face. I feel lucky to have found the right group and the right teacher.
