In this tutorial I’ll show how to sketch people sitting with correct proportions.

I made this tutorial slightly longer as it has lots of step by step explanations as well as some extra adjustments I made in the painting stage 😊.

I really love the theory content in your tutorials Scottie. They make all the difference!! I spent longer than I should have on the Small Faces tutorial but I learned so much - from trying to apply the right level of detail. We are very lucky to have such a great community to support your efforts. Can’t wait to get into these illustrations on the weekend.

I caught myself holding my breath through the drawing of the head. Thanks for this. It will be a great challenge for me.

Just joined this community after seeing many YouTube videos - look forward to doing your tutorials systematically. For a beginner 😀

There is so much going on in this picture. I’m taking it slowly with some wins and some losses. It’s all learning though 😊

Thank you Scottie for this great tutorial, it's so good explained, but before I started with it, I'll need to sketch the older challenge you painted about sitting people.

Hi Scottie, I am enjoying your course, its very helpful, but i am not able to view the videos in horizontal position, i mean the screen is not turning with my phone. I am finding difficult to watch in that small screen. Could you please suggest me any settings to be altered. This would be a great help. Thank you.

hello what gives the expression even for the arm is your small lines you add to the contour lines or going on with the line further ...any guiding clues or just feeling and experience?thank you Etiana

I did enjoy this tutorial but I found the sketching too fast for a beginner.
