Such a great, in depth tutorial Scottie, loved it 🙌🏻

Too much for me - I can sort of manage figures from 30m distance but any closer and it is just truley hopeless and quite embarrasing.

Get down the head, torso, and legs first, and then go from there. It’s a great technique, but I’ve got miles to go before I can even approximate the figure. Practice, practice, practice!

Hi Scottie, for some reason when i come to your tutorials a week after you've posted the link to download the reference drawing seems to disappear. I can see the image with the hand pointing "...template below" but no link;( Any idea what im missing?

Great tuition scottie, I particularly appreciate your you win some you lose some approach, learning to accept something less than perfect. Although my faces are such a joke, I can't grasp how with a couple of pen strokes you can produce an impressionistic face. I'm going off to the beach now to give it ago.

Good morning from California Scottie, The screen shot you sent me I am familiar with. For some reason the links disappear if I dont do your tutorials when they are newly posted. I have a screenshot, but cant send it in this comment section.

I figured it out, I have to go back to your home page where all tutorials are listed to get the reference. Thanks again for your responsiveness! I really appreciate it. I love your tutorials, and am seeing improvement in my comfort capturing what i see. Thanks again!

I am REALLY ENJOYING your tutorials on sketching people. I took a lot of photos of people on a recent trip and now alternate sketching them with sketching along with your tutorials. I've gained a lot of confidence; thank you!

Hi, I am still struggling to watch your videos on full screen,i don’t know. It doesn’t open.

Hi Scottie, I don't know if you still get alerts for comments on your older tutorials. I just wanted to say that this one is very special as you explain about observing and sketching on location. I specifically benefitted from the timed sketches as they forced me to do them fast, similar to how I would have to sketch someone in a live setting. I skipped the water coloring for now as I really want to focus on sketching faster and accurately. I would appreciate, if you could create more tutorials like this. Thank you.
