Great tutorial, Scottie! Shoulders and proportions have always been my nemesis, but this breakdown finally made things click! Also, really appreciate the extra time spent on facial features. Now, my sketches might finally stop looking like aliens in disguise. Thanks !

Wonderful breakdown of how to draw people. Amazing...

This was a great lesson. I had much fun sketching this. Your explanations keep getting better and better. Love the templates. I print them for easy reference.

Another great tutorial; I never tire of these figure drawing exercises. An unrelated question: I notice that when you dip your brush into your colors, your pans don't shake, rattle, and roll, like they do in my same Cotman set. Have you glued your pans to the bottom of the palette and refill them from Cotman tubes when the colors run low? Curious minds want to know!

Your teaching around where to put the shadows & highlights is great - very helpful. Thanks, Scottie :-D

Scottie, could you show us/explain your angle setup please?

Pilar Baldominos

Wauh it is incredible what I have been able to achieve following your instructions… I think it could be great if you could teach us how to do easy backgrounds. Thanks for the class.
