Hi everyone ! I've heard from many of you that a portrait mini series would be helpful. The next most requested view to sketch was the 3/4 view.

Which of these reference photos would you like to sketch? You can vote below for more than one.

I am thinking of sketching a few of these references for the one tutorial video so you can practice more than one.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Actually I like them all.

Judy Breen

I agree with Mary, each one offers something different to challenge us.

I like no. 1 as this lady has a few facial lines and it would be good to see how to tackle those. No 4 is good also will

msmoody2shoes

sorry keep doing that. The beard would be interesting to paint too but it hides the wrinkles. Lol

Rosie Green

I Vote for All of Them 🤩😁

Terry

I agree with Rosie. Let’s do them all.

Rick Morris

I like 1 & 4. Will be tricky for me, but fun and great practice.

Karen Lin

I"m torn between #1 and #4

Karen King

1 & 4 - Hat, glasses, beard...ARGHHHH! Curious to see...draw eyes before or after glasses? Draw head shape first then draw hat over it? Same with beard.

Ally Noormohamed

I’d like to learn all of them. I’d pick #1 to start with.

Sandycab

I think, this are real challenges, for me all of them are right to draw, everyone has something to practice.

Russ Sansom

I'd prefer the lady with the hat because hats make it easy. So, I've picked a harder one.

Hi Scottie, I’ve already responded to this survey, but have a question. I just can’t seem to get the proportions correct when using ink. I have better luck when I use a pencil and then go over the pencil with ink. I would prefer just to use the ink, but right now just can’t seem to get the hang of it. Any suggestions? Thanks, Rick

Sorry new hear, just getting into keeping up with Patreon. I love the look of #3 but #2 is a close 2nd.
