I really like how you switched up the sky on this lighthouse. I also never thought about using something other than green on the shrubs. I find it hard to not be literal about my colors. This really gives me a lot to work on. Thanks as always!

Great tutorial Scottie, I'm learning so much doing these along with you and I'm making some nice art to decorate the house. Thank you so much for doing these. I think it'd be interesting if we could attach images of our work in the thread but I don't see a way to do that.

Great tutorial Scottie, really pleased with the result of this one. I'm hoping to frame some of my work in the future (just for my home)

So I was fairly comfortable with most of what I did with the lighthouse but what definitely was difficult was doing the skyline your steam to flow and mine was blotchy. I’m new at this, so I get that I’m not gonna be perfect at first but I do enjoy your method.

Awesome tutorial, Scottie. Just finished my version. It is still a bit saturated in some areas. But it hangs on our kitchen wall. I am living near the sea. So it fits nicely. Is the saturation of the watercolor a problem because I am using a cheap watercolor set? May be I should change to your recommended 19pc set soon. Anyhow thanks for the inspiration. Happy days. Thank you! Have to practice the washes for the sky. The perspective guidelines are helpful. Very challenging are the stairs ….
