I had to double check myself. The sand on the ground has been green the whole time, but the sand Gaara manipulates has been regular color. Right at the end the sand Gaara manipulated to seal the steam clone did change to green so it was actually different lol

Kabuto is trying to buy time to summon another reanimated shinobi (the “him” he kept referring to) 😏 There is a short filler arc showing another battlefield featuring the 4 ninjas shown in the dark in that panel. Not going to tell you who but they’re a fun blast from the past. it takes place at the same time as the other battles, but it’s filler since it’s not part of the main story. But there are a lot of great filler eps that touch more on all the other battlefields, if you guys want more Shippuden content to watch after you finish the series, you should go back and watch these!

I don't think the Third Raikage was the only one who single-handedly was able to go toe to toe against a Tailed Beast. I think the Fourth Hokage Minato did that too, when he fought against Nine Tails to save the village back in the day. of course he had help from the Third and the other Shinobi but, he was fighting against two monsters: the Demon Fox and Madara himself. I'm pretty confident to say that If It was only the Fox, I think he could've handled It somewhat smoothly. Even though It wasn't the case, he still managed to resolve the whole situation nonetheless.

I love this fact. Naruto is so strong Kabuto thought this clone was the real thing! "I'll cut off his arms and legs and bring him back half-dead" He just got done fighting Itachi and Nagato, but Kabuto doesn't know where the real Naruto went. Shows the schism between Zetsu's reconnaissance not being delivered to their "ally" and Kabuto's attempt to bring Madara under his control by capturing Naruto for himself.

I always loved how the Mizukage acknowledges Gaara in their encounter. Also, Kabuto explained a few episodes ago that he can’t reanimate people who’ve been sealed (otherwise there’d be no stopping the reanimated shinobi except for Kabuto undoing the jutsu himself). He gave the example of the 1st-4th Hokages, due to them being sealed by the Reaper Death Seal .. Orochimaru was sealed by Itachi in his fight against Sasuke .. not saying y’all are wrong but keep that detail in mind.

The second Mizukage has to go down in history as one of the funniest Kage ever. He isn't serious at all. When I first watched I really thought Ohnoki died, I was heated. It's because they're filler. When it comes to Naruto and Naruto Shippuden the only filler that is normally acceptable by reactors is the Kakashi mask filler in OG Naruto and the other filler episode at the end of Shippuden that I won't mention because it's a spoiler.

Regardless if there’s war fight scenes or not, it’s still filler. Filler isn’t a negative thing. It just means it’s not necessarily important to the actual plot of the show; it’s not canon aka wasn’t in the manga.

As much as I agree I think this is asking too much. They have a schedule and need to satisfy everybody, I'm also pretty sure they spend their week ends reacting too, they need some time off cause watching shows non stop and reacting to them is hella exhausting

Agreed, filler or not it contextualizes a lot of the story and part of the reason for the "filler" was because Kishimoto was being rushed to end the story and skipped over a ton of info and important characters. I personally believe the parts that should not be skipped are the filler of naruto pre-og. The filler of Kakashi's backstory, the filler of Asuma and parts of the three tails and six tails story because it makes them more memorable when you see them again. And any war moments with the seven swordsmen and Pakura the sand ninja. Maybe Torune vs Shino too.

I know it's late. But, gaara's sand is brown, as well as the dessert. They are not fighting in the dessert, the entire surroundings of the ground seem to be a greener shade of dirt. Thus, if gaara uses the sand from this place, it'll look like that unless it's his personal sand. That's how I took it, his sand is brown, when mixing and using the dirt from places not in the desert, it'll change the color
