Nooooooo I’m at work 😭 I’ll watch on my breaks tho can’t wait to see this

Lamar Saw

Welp, for once I guess I’ll rewatch this to see y’all’s reactions. I’m not into K-pop but this movie was decent.

Arstysan

The way I ran to this reaction

Dan

Guess I’ll have to watch boruto tomorrow. Good night everyone.

Oreo

For context, regarding Wonho. He is currently a soloist but he was previously a member of the boy group Monsta X. He left the group because of a scandal allegations back in late 2019. (that was proven that he was innocent).

BORUTO

:( Gn

universal

Bro I thought that was sung jih woo for a second the guy with the black nails I don't know what his name is but for some reason I thought that was sung jih woo for a second

carmen v

did yall notice the song when they bumped into each other (jinu and rumi) it’s the song the VA of jinu acted in which is business proposal lmao

kidBuku

This was a fun movie.

HollyMai9

They had separate voice actors for speaking & singing, but at 16:12 when Jinu sings that's the the speaking va Ahn Hyo Seop singing. He was a trainee with GOT7 back in the day. Also you can buy plushies of the tiger & magpie at walmart.

Patreon needs to add a pinning comment feature so everyone actually sees the updates.

TurtleHubby

Sony the goat. Spiderman and this, the animation is soooooo good

TurtleHubby

I really hope they leave it as is...otherwise theyll just end up becoming a cheap cash grab with sequels, spinoffs, tv, etc. The movie itself is awesome

TurtleHubby

The saja boys song (idol) is so accurate in how many fans literally idolize these kpop stars. Absolutely crazy and unhealthy

lbmase

Rumour has it, that the world was supposed to end in 2012 …. But then PSY came through and repaired the honmoon with Gangnam style and saved the world 👓

Reina Panda

honestly valid. I feel like the huntrix story has come to an end so any more on them would kind of be pointless, but If they did make another movie I would be so curious about Rumi's mother and what compelled her to make a baby with a demon. I wonder if it was a demon like Jinu that seemed genuinely remorseful and got his soul back? Also curious what exactly happened to her parents. So if they went with another movie I wouldn't mind a prequel. Though is would very likely be another tragic love story

Ashyy

I love you guys even more for this ❤️

Yaz

This was fab, I can’t wait till you catch up on One Piece and can watch the movies, One Piece Red is a musical film too!

Phyllis

I love this show and all their songs.😍😍😍 Totally shipping Rumi x Jinu!❤️ I feel like at the end Huntrix 'Comeback' poster could be a hint teaser and there will be a 2nd movie as Jinu technically may not have died as his soul was given to Rumi and not destroyed. I'm praying for a 2nd movie cause I need my happily ever after for Rumiand Jinu!!! 😣 Saja Boys 'Your Idol' topped the US Spotify chart reaching No. 1 spot surpassing BTS's record and Huntrix "Golden" reaching No. 2 beating Blackpink. I think Twice has a partnership or distribution deal with Sony Music so somehow they were included in this project.

I got interested, as I'm sure we all are, if there would be a sequel. Here's a summary of what I found in my search. While a KPop Demon Hunters sequel hasn't been officially confirmed, the creators have expressed interest and hinted at possibilities for a continuation. The success of the first movie on Netflix, coupled with the director's enthusiasm, suggests a sequel is likely. Here's a more detailed look: No official confirmation: Netflix has not announced a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters yet. Director's interest: Both co-directors, Chris Appelhans and Maggie Kang, have publicly stated they have ideas for a sequel or series. Open-ended story: The first movie leaves some plot threads unresolved, suggesting potential for future storylines. Not sure how many people noticed but the Honmoon at the end wasn't the Gold (sealed) Honmoon, but the regular healthy (blue/purple) Honmoon, so Gwi Ma could come back. Plus, Jinu gave his soul to Rumi, so it's possible she might be able to bring him back somehow. Also, it never went into her parents or her demon Dad, so lots of possibilities and the writers supposedly already have plot written for additional movies. Fan enthusiasm: Social media is buzzing with fan theories and requests for a sequel. Potential for sequels: Netflix has a history of ordering sequels to successful original movies, making a KPop Demon Hunters sequel a strong possibility. Possible directions: Kang mentioned exploring side stories and unanswered questions, potentially focusing on Rumi's past or the relationship between Rumi and Jinu. Also, since it was initially supposed to be twice as long, but was adjusted for a younger audience for Netflix, the series may get darker as it goes on, with the more serious and dramatic themes coming out as the series progresses toward the final climax.

Michelle Lam

Aaron williams

Side note: wonho IS a bodybuilder lol he was in a group called monstaX but he went solo after a controversy

Justin Bajado

I like this movie thank you that they react to this movie i'm so excited

mayeeri

Jungkook actually cried during the final scenes HAHAHA

Aaron williams

The creators actually have 9 movies worth of sequels that were already thought out. So their only limit is Sony and Netflix holding them back from being creative. considering how this movie had no marketing and then not having faith in it to begin with only to be massively successful, they will actually give it more then what it got to begin with

Aaron williams

I knew you guys would love it. The story is genuinely well written. Theirs no way we won’t get a sequel. Free is my soooong, but what it sounds like is underrated the lyrics in the whole movie are so good.

Aaron williams

A lot of people wanted a rujinu kiss but I’m glad we didn’t get it one of the reasons is what Ron brought up. The fact that they trauma bonded is a toxic relationship starter kit tool lol. Also every movies doesn’t need a romantic interest. It made their relationship more platonic. they taught each other an important lesson and the story valued from that with them not being more romantically involved. Being teased with the idea is going to make it hit more if/when it happens. Plus he’s 400 years older than her so might be for the best to make it a slow burn. Also I appreciate that the girls are all adults in their mid twenties.

mitsui

Honmoon didn't turn golden yet so maybe there's a sequel

Pandrix

Can someone tell me if Michelle can read, understand and speak Korean just curious

W4rtex

it didn´t turn golden because it turned Rainbow its a new honmoon the old one is gone for good

Jordan

I feel that you reacting to the songs before the movie was a mistake for the enjoyment but happy that you’re doing the movie

Saith D. Uchiha

I’m surprised how many like this says I’m not going to lie. The name of the movie made me not watch it.

Gloria Cuevas

I love this movie! So glad y’all reacted to it!!

Arz.09

DaSaVaGeKiNg12

So glad you guys reacted to this I was wondering today if you guys watched this and I scrolled down a bit and found it

Taithos

They confirmed that there will be a sequel in 2028.

Calvin Gomez

Hopefully they take their time with it I’d honestly won’t be mad if it gets delayed like spider verse

Jin

Just fun fact for you guys, Gwima was voiced by Lee Byeong Hun (he's the front man in Squid Games 😍)

King Kai

These patterns remind me of a very old Chinese folklore about a boy who play a string instrument. He was invited by a ghost to play for them. The patterns appears on his body and took the part that was written on his body to the ghost world.

Scar

What I love about this is that there is no manga for everyone to read and spoil the inevitable sequel. We all will watch it in anticipation. I will say this movie and soundtrack will be really tough to top. I also love how you both were so in captivated and speechless when Romi started singing This is what it sounds like. Love this movie 🙂

Andyydee

is anyone else noticing the video is JUST a bit out of sync? like their reactions are delayed to the movie? or am i trippin?

Andyydee

i retract my comment, it was just the first 18 mins

Subieflow1318

Such a great movie!! Didn’t think I was going to enjoy it

Senobia

Her saying 'So we can make a new one' gave me a similar feeling to Miles saying 'Nah, ima do my own thing'. Shit just HITS. Also I truly don't know how I have never listened to KPOP before. I have listened to French songs on repeat. I have listened to Italian songs on repeat. I have listened to a Chinese song on repeat. I have listened to anime intros and outros on repeat. BUT KPOP NOT ONCE??? That is insanity. I have been MISSING OUT. I have already watched this movie 4 times. I'm going to listen to the soundtrack until it is a nostalgia trip and then I am going to submerge my brain in KPOP. 🫡

Daniel Ortiz

Golden is the best stand-alone song, irrespective of the movie. Heck, if you think about it they never actually finish singing the song in the movie. They keep getting interrupted, symbolizing never actually being able to achieve perfection, which is fitting. But it's the best song overall. This is What it Sounds Like is the best song in the context of the movie. It's killer as part of the triumphant victory. But on its own as a song... not the best. But my personal favorite is Free. It's killer in the context of the movie, AND as a stand-alone song all on its own.

Daniel Ortiz

John Reaves, another musician who does react videos, also reviewed a few of the songs before hand, but in his movie react video, he exclaimed how all the songs/music videos all made so much more sense in the context of the movie, and how the producers did such an outstanding job of having the songs integrate into and drive the story along. Seeing that from him, it made it kind of a brand-new experience listening to the songs from a new perspective again, and it was nice.

Daniel Ortiz

I wrote about this elsewhere, but I think turning the original honmooon golden was actually never possible, because it represents becoming perfect, which none of us ever are. We're all sinful, fallen human beings. Even the Sunlight Sisters, after so many generations, faced their own trauma in the passing of Rumi's mother and Rumi herself (that has to be a sad tragic story), and so Celine had to hope that the next generation could be better than they were, just like every generation of hunters before them. In fact, if you pay attention, Huntr/X never actually get to finish singing the song Golden, symbolizing never actually being able to be perfect, which is fitting. But Huntr/X did something the old hunters didn't: they made a new honmoon, not based on a desire for perfection, but something else, which we hopefully will learn about later. I wonder if Rumi's personal understanding of demons and her new urge to see if they can be saved, will be the essence of the new honmoon. Maybe it will be selective in keeping the demons that are too far gone trapped below, while letting demons that still desire to change through. I hope we will see one day!

VOCFM

Michelle I immediately also thought Demon STD's lmao
