Reishi just means spirit particles. He's just saying there's so few spirit particles in the living world. The Soul Society was full of it, even all the buildings were made from it. Its part of the technique Ishida used there :p And the Bounts they keep referencing was part of the filler arc we skipped btw :p I actually found that filler arc pretty enjoyable :p And in this arc, a lot of the names of Arrancar's have like hispanic or Latin origins, even the music kinda has that vibe too :p

I'm not sure if it would be a good idea for Ichigo to give in to the Hollow. There's no way Ichigo can predict or control what it will do — it could even fight by killing all the innocent people nearby. So it makes sense to try to hold it back since it's unpredictable :D

Fun fact. Yammy and Ulquiorra's arrival is very similar to Vegeta and Nappa's because Kubo is a fan of Dragon Ball. I understand you guys love Hollow Ichigo as we all do. But do note that if the Hollow takes over, Ichigo is done, at least from what we and Ichigo know. Just like Kyubi vs Naruto. Imagine having your soul devoured from another entity within, you'd all be terrified if this happened to you. I think you dont understand how this works, let me explain. First its an Anime, time works different there, second its a long running Anime which means they stretch every scene into oblivion. They use Orihime 90% of the time for the sake of stretching shit which is kinda sad because imo Manga Orihime is a really compelling character (waaaaay less annoying and way more funny than in the anime). Most people will agree with me that they like Orihime waaay more in the new anime which makes sense because its a way better Adaption from the Manga than the old one. Also people need to realize that she isnt really a fighter character she is a healer thru and thru. (Atleast she isnt like Sakura pretending to be a crazy fighter but in the end useless af when it comes to fighting, she knows shes a healer).

Nope. You can't tell me that. Its a load of BS. You said it. They use her for most of the stretching of scenes. Which in turn makes her character annoying as hell to watch. Say what you want about sakura....but when the time comes to heal someone she handles business. Orihimes healing abilities have so much potential...yet they created a character who is never on point with anything. Shes not fit to be a fighter I agree. However the way she's written, she isn't even fit to be on the battlefield healing anyone at all.

Back then, the inner-mind talk with the Hollow combined with the horror-like music, the arrival of Ulquiorra who has the coolest design and the scene of Ichigo getting beaten up (which felt so different compared to the other in the Big3) truly cemented me as a die-hard Bleach fan 🧡🤘 Regarding you wanting Ichigo to let the Hollow take over: BIG NO NO 😅🙅‍♀️ That would be extremely risky since Ichigo can't control the Hollow ⚠️ He would have risked to lose his body/identity to the Hollow (permanently) and maybe also hurt his friends (which would have been the worst to Ichigo) ⚠️

I agree, and this is like the general knowledge for most animes too. A lot of them have SICK storylines but when they end up adapted, sometimes scenes get stretched out, sometimes certain content gets removed in favor of fitting enough content into a season. Anime only watchers end up having different feelings about characters/storyline etc. I appreciate the anime industry, but I've always hoped that more studios prioritize quality over quantity & treating the popular mangas as more than just cash cows to be cheaply animated and leveraging off the mangas existing popularity. Studios that go the extra mile like Ghibli & Ufotable, (maybe Madhouse too) are so freakin rare that I can only name those couple out of the countless one's out there.

[Tidbits] - Ichigo as a character struggles whenever mental/emotional issues occur, it's a direct contrast to how he easily adapts to physical struggles. This is why "White" is such an issue, I know I comment on it often but Ichigo's core trauma is being unable to protect his mother, and White is a force that makes Ichigo feel powerless, unable to properly protect those around him and worse he himself is the threat that they need to be protected from. - Not sure if you've seen DBZ, but the scene with the 2 Arrancar arriving is Homage to Vegeta and Nappa arriving on earth. - The damage done to Chad and Orihime is censored compared to the manga . (Which is a recurring issue until the newly animated Arc) - Many people misinterpret Orihimes character and theme claiming she's badly written because of how ineffective she often comes across, but that is the point, she's painfully aware of her position, which is the first step of her character arc. - Ulquiorra (smaller Arrancar) says that Ichigo's peak spiritual pressure is higher than his, this means Ichigo in terms of potential power can already defeat both of these guys, the issue is that he lacks experience and training. - A flaw is introduced for Ichigo, he seems reluctant to rely on others, he acts as if he's the only one who wants to and can protect people.

The children in Bleach need therapists. They need to learn to depend on each other rather than taking all the burden on themselves. I do not understand the censorship in Bleach at all. Sometimes, they show it as it was in the manga, but sometimes, it does not. Chad's entire arm was shattered by Yammy. Also, there's yet another thing that the anime did wrong in this episode compared to the manga. I can't reveal it yet, as it would give away the substance of the change itself. The depressing part of the episode is not just because of the loss they took. To each person, it's down to their mental state, for example, in the case of Ichigo, he's afraid of a scenario where he cannot protect anyone. Even someone like Tatsuki is going through it as she's been left in the dark about so many things, which she simply cannot process.
