she really wasn't, at least in the manga (and in the manga, the war arc is much faster paced), anime added some kaguya backstory (but it's been decanonised by boruto) i don't have problem with the kaguya lore, but it needed more development and sooner (for me the real bad thing in last arc was black zetsu "killing" madara, he should had a proper fight with naruto and sasuke)

I was waiting on Ron to say Twix lol yes Twix is so good. In the field trip arc Boruto and Sarada had a conversation and he told her "People say your dad was unbelievably strong. Isn't that cooler?" Even back then it foreshadowed Boruto wanting to be like Sasuke. The scene with Naruto's shadow clone dropping the cake sucks. I get Boruto's reaction 100%

Still inexcusable, leave the shadow clone in the office. Naruto practically shits clones, the fact that he couldn't be present for his own daughter's birthday is embarrassing for a parent. I don't know why people try to defend Naruto for this scene - it is literally intended to be indefensible (which is why Boruto reacts how he does). He can be a good person who made a bad decision.

It isn’t filler, the manga canon episode literally used the episodes they watched as flashbacks implying those were important events for the characters that happened. The difference with anime canon and filler is because the manga is monthly the team has to create these episodes to fill in the blanks that aren’t expanded upon.

@21 21 21 Nah fam, folks like you seem to not get that watching only manga canon for an anime like Boruto would shorten it and undercut the characters. If you wanna watch non-stop gas, no valley, just peaks, go right ahead. Some of us enjoy dips or build up in our media or like to spend time with the characters and the world. Boruto "filler" is rightfully called anime canon because the source material hints at the events but doesn't go into detail.

KAGUYA OTSUTSUKI is from the Otsutsuki clan. Not the kaguya clan. If im not mistaken. These are 2 different clans.

This is the problem with people who watch Boruto. Did you even watch Naruto? EVERY single character who played hokage was mentally drained from doing the job. We just act like tsunade sleeping overnight at her desk under paper work never happened. On top of that Naruto was the type to not even attempt a lick of school work.

Ron. Kimimaro is one of my favorite characters, even though he has almost no screen time, and in my opinion, should’ve been a much bigger threat in the war Ark. If you look up fan theories and on Narutopedia there’s a whole war in backstory, saying his clan was a direct descendent from the otsutsuki clan Uchiha and Senju are DIRECT descendants and the Uzumaki and Kaguya clan our cousins to the Uchiha and Senju. That’s why when Kaguya use those bone techniques that would turn people to Ash a.k.a. How Obito was killed. Shows that they were definitely close relatives. Fun fact with an Uzumaki being Very close cousins with the Senju means Karin, Naruto, Kushina our cousins with the first hokage, Hashirama, and Tsunade. Idk why no one talks about Tsunade and Naruto being related.

Boruto's behavior at Himawari's birthday party isn't any better than Naruto sending a Shadow Clone that disappeared. At least Naruto intended to make Himawari happy. Boruto goes off the rails and storms off in the middle of her party. If Boruto was so bothered about Himawari having a good birthday, he should have put his anger and disappointment aside and dealt with his father after the party.
