Yea think of sengoku has the hokage of naruto for the marines. Usually the leaders are not the first to fight but more later on in the battle. Because if they lose then everything falls apart. Think of it like chess. Once your king piece get eaten the game is over. Thats one way to think of it. That is also why whitebeard was not in the action until now. Sengoku was an Admiral before then he got promoted to Fleet Admiral which is the highest rank in the navy. I also think he's more standing back so in case someone does make it to the platform he is there to protect it too

there are tons of moment and flashbacks I love in OP yet it still hasn't dethroned Naruto or any of my top manga/anime! Only OP can ever dethrone my top is when it ends. I truly judge a story by its conclusion, to me the conclusion seal the story! When OP will end (hopefully before 2077), I'll know if it was worth the wait or not! I wouldn’t take statements like that seriously. The 5 elders called Kuzan THE strongest marine of navy HQ. Nico Robin and other statements say the fleet admiral (Sengoku) is the strongest since he outranks even the admirals but then again some like Garp don’t even take a promotion. They will find out who’s THE strongest and who isn’t the moment they finish marineford or catch up to egghead

You’re stating it very wrong… The 3 Admirals (the position it self) is called the strongest force in the Navy. Sengoku is above that as the Fleet Admiral. (It’s a sole position so it’s not referred to as a “force”.) I do think one or two of the Admirals could be stronger than Sengoku but if they are it’s not by much Garp though is the strongest Marine currently for sure And saying Mihawk isn’t going all out is head canon, he acknowledged Vista’s strength and only said he doesn’t go all out against “worms” — he doesn’t view Vista in that way at all

Whitebeard is the actual GOAT. I love what he represents and how he sees people and the world. It's powerful stuff. It's not shown super clearly, but the Kumas attacked the allied pirates exclusively instead of the Whitebeard Pirates themselves which is probably why Akainu was so convincing. Yall also might be the only reactors I've seen get tricked like that by Akainu 🤣🤣

I personally don't they're very different behind the camera than they are in front of it. I think they're both genuine and good people, Michelle just was upset that Ron wanted to pause it after one piece did the thing that's it's famous for, where something major will happen and they will cut to 30 different reaction shots of the characters to waste time. At Marineford, I do not think anyone is stronger than current Whitebeard (strictly talking about the people there right NOW). In the one piece world, I agree with you, but most of those folks are also hyped up and they are yet to go all out even in the manga. Also, walking into enemy territory with so many "so called" strong characters gathered with only yourself rivaling them in power is gangster. Sure there might be people who can rival him 1-on-1 there, but playing it safe and having to do cheap tricks like that does not appeal me personally :(

In case you guys missed and forgot, Admiral Akainu Sakazuki name has been mentioned before. Akainu Sakazuki was a Vice Admiral then. He was the one that ordered his men to fire at the civilian ship that was evacuating Ohara(Robin's hometown) during the Buster Call killing all that was on that ship. There was no survivors even though Buster Call was activated to attack and erase the scholars of Ohara and their research, not the regular civilians. Akainu Sakazuki made that call himself.

The pausing isn't the problem, the timing is lol. I noticed the badly timed pauses a lot lately. I don't want y'all to change, that's why I'm subbed to you, but it's just my 2 cents. When you pause in the middle of an important scene, you kill the momentum, and you can get the answers you want sometimes right after. If you want to pause, wait till the scene is over. It's like I will pause right after LeBron throws a 3, with the ball in the middle of the air, just to question if he will make it and to say how good of a player he is. Watch the shot, see what happens, then pause and comment. But you do you, I may take breaks, but I'm here for y'all.

Why is it not that simple? You saw how a certain someone blasted an island with a punch later on in the anime? Did you not see Whitebeard just bring on tsunami's that blasted the entire Marineford? He couldnt just blast it all off because Ace was on the execution platform. There are no feats that Garp has shown that puts him over Whitebeard. And Mihawk's biggest feats right now are beating a pre-timeskip Zoro, I will not buy into the fandom hype until i see him doing something. AND just to actually speak facts and not base my assumptions in community hype, when Whitebeard entered Marineford he was announced as the world's strongest man by the narrator. There is a reason Mihawk is called the World's strongest "Swordman" and not man. But you are entitled for your opinion though. And we should not be having this conversation here. Haha, I really enjoy it when you pause in the middle to talk. That’s actually one of the reasons I like watching your reactions. If I have one hope, it’s that when a truly important moment comes, you could try gathering your thoughts and then sharing them after the episode ends, so the flow doesn’t get interrupted. I would only suggest One Pace starting at either Punk Hazard or Dressrosa arc because that's when the pace starts becoming painfully slow. I had to switch to the manga at that point because the pacing made me impatient. The story however was as great as ever, gyattdam.

Ron, if your viewing partner disagrees with the pause and you can't just say your stuff real quick (have to compose your thoughts), then my vote (if I had one) would be to hold the comments till after the scene. Not to mention the fact that what you actually ended up saying was so anticlimactic, simple and unnecessarily drawn out that I actually yelled at the screen in real life. "No one, not even you, realize how big that moment was" -- lol, said the person who decided to interrupt the big moment to state the painfully obvious (i.e. that the moment being watched by the entire OP world with bated breath was, indeed, a big moment.) Especially with the intentional ponderousness, dramatic pauses for emphasis and measured, deliberate hand motions). The scene is such a slow paced moment you could have just said it while it was playing rather than turning it into a whole production. This specific pause has nothing to do with rando viewers complaining because they have to use arrow keys, but rather everything to do with having respect for the person next to you whose immersion the pause damaged during a critical moment in the show. All that being said, it is XX% your reaction channel, and the answer to your question "can I just take a moment to..." is obviously "yes", but since the same can be said of Michelle, her input should be just as important. So Michelle, next time there's a "can I just take a moment to...", just say "no" and forcefully unpause it lol. You'd have full support from this patron at least. ------------------------------ After seeing the "some people will get mad that I paused there but f**k you": Have *not* had any issue with a **single** other pause that I can think of **in any single one** of the previous **471 episodes**, and typically enjoy (both of) your analysis. Kuma is very large so they could fit more technology inside such a large body to make them stronger than if they used someone small like luffy. 2. Kuma is very well known and recognized as a warlord and tyrant, so using his appearance would instill fear in enemies. 3. I assume that they would have tested them in real combat, but doing so would expose them so by making them look like kuma anyone who sees them being tested would assume its the actual Kuma.
