Alicia

They're so many great ones on here! But I hope Twinkling Watermelon, Alchemy of Souls or Moving wins!

Manting Xiong

Rooting for Twinkling Watermelon to win🙏

Infinite Ree

Some things light-hearted I hope, so I'm voting Fairy or Twinkling

Infinite Ree

Oh wow I thought they had already seen Moving

Honii

Awww, I had hoped Kingdom would be on the poll

Adams

it will win all kdrama polls lately are won by it

RCG

Thanks for the AiB info! Good luck to everyone’s favorite show.

sjfyy_

Disappointed by the votes but not surprised...

Urami-Chan

Never heard of any of these 🤣hope you guys vote for a good one!!!🙏🙏🙏

Luu

Moving pleasee!!

Mina K.

I would have loved to see Lovely Runner or Mr. Queen winning this time. But Twinkling Watermelon is nice too. Finally something more light hearted. Well more than the other ones lmao

Narawin971

Mr Queen will always have my vote- as well as Reply 1988 (Im just glad whenever its suggested enough to be in the poll~ ). Also, I love Archemy of souls but, I'm worried it's not beginer friendly for those who are introduced to historical k-dramas

Chels

Oooh! Forgot about Mr. Queen! Hope that or Flower of Evil wins 😊 Honestly, kinda a weak selection this time for me, which makes it easier to vote at least. Still, if you guys can make Sidemen watchable for me, I'm sure I'll enjoy anything you react to, so looking forward to see what wins :3 Also, for a future J-Drama idea, "Last Samurai Standing" is so good~ it's another Death Game type show, but with real time period relevance! When the transition of government was happening, the country didn't know what to do with samurai or shinobi anymore, so they criminalized them, pit them against each other to try and make them kill each other off, or essentially made it impossible for them to exist as they have been until the age of Samurai was fully snuffed out (pushed along by the creation of a police force called the Shinsengumi, one of my fav bits of history, who SPECIFICALLY targeted policing the left over Samurai families that were becoming criminals) so the show plays on that idea by tweaking the context into that all the remaining warriors (ainu, shinobi, bandits and samurai) are drawn into a Death Game with the promise of 100,000円 (which would have been an obscene amount of money in that era) and it follows an ex Ronin samurai with a crazy sword technique and PTSD (basically rurouni kenshin lol) who decides to protect a young Miko girl with 0 ability to fight that joined the game out of desperation, and the last remaining member of the infamous shinobi Iga clan. (My fav) The sword choreo is incredible! The story is really well done, and it has the moral qualities we enjoy about death games

Atlas_Lion

Why no Kingdom😔 Well i hope sweet home wins then but i really wanted kingdom that's my favorite kdrama

Samia Anderson

I wish “My ID is Gangnam Beauty” was on here. It’s such an amazing K-drama. 😫

Alexa

I'm honestly ok with any of the dramas on the poll, but the weak hero/twinkling watermelon combo is just so perfect 😌

Jo

twinkling watermelon is not available on Netflix. Where can I watch it?

Tabii🪷

i think since they’re anime watcher they’ll understand the concept better hence why i think they’re not really beginners

Narawin971

eehh, tbh I really doubt it, even from an anime watcher pov because besides the fantasy aspect, the cultural and historical still add nuances ^^". So far, they've only been exposed to very modern korean culture. But it's not that much of a big deal since we'll provide them all the relevant details in the comments. That way they'll understand the deeper meaning behind some scenes if need. / edit : sorry if my phrasing is kinda awkward english isnt my first language..

That Girl Z

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim is SUCH a classic...please let's try and get it to number 1!!!

Mikkeai8908

I agree. And many people were requesting for them to react to it right after weak hero was finished. It also helps with them to connect the dots on why everyone who seen both dramas says the references in weak hero season 2 seem to be connected to TW.

Mikkeai8908

Why are you disappointed? They might react to more than one that got top votes. It’s a bit unpredictable on how they will react to everything.

Ramms

it recently got added on netflix

Ramms

Yassss Twinkling Watermelon is winning (Also it got added to Netflix in October this year)

Mikkeai8908

Anyone know where “begins ≠ youth” can be watched in the US? I can’t find it anywhere that is available on anything.

Jo

This is probably the most peaceful K-drama poll we’ve ever had. After those heated polls before, this feels so relaxing. HAHAHAHA.

urgaybff

itaewon class was my first ever kdrama! sweet home is also one super different from anything ive seen :) both are great picks

Moon

I think it's only available on an app/site called Xclusive. And I'm not even sure if it's available anymore? Cause on the app it says all episodes are sold out (because each handful of episodes needs to be paid for separately), and from what I've seen online you have to purchase it from someone who already owns it or something, which sucks if true.

Mikkeai8908

Ok. Thanks for the info. I remember seeing the series back when it was available on this one site called drama cool that isn’t available anymore either. I wish they uploaded on a platform that will make it easier for access. People keep recommending the drama, but i just wonder how will the reactors find it if it’s not really available anymore anywhere.

tomski

The only reason I don't recommend twinkling watermelon right now is I think the subs on netflix are not fully correct. But I'm on British netflix so I don't know if that's just over here

Jo

thank you

Gatha Naranath

ISTG TWINKLING WATERMELON BETTER WIN WE NEED SOME COMFORT AFTER WEAK HERO

Tabii🪷

oh know i get what you mean exactly, your english is perfect. definitely when it comes to the historical context compare to the fantasy there will be nuance. i think we did well with providing information when they were watching when life gives your tangerine so im sure it’ll be the same for this. thank you for your insight :)

Mikkeai8908

Twinkling watermelon is on viki as well. Why are you assuming they are only using Netflix to see these dramas recommended?

taiyaki hoshi

i’ve been voting for twinkling watermelon for like a year now 😭😭 glad to see everyone hyping it now

tomski

Just because it's bigger than Viki and if they were to Google where to watch I assume netflix would come first so they would never know if it had bad subs

Jaden

When will sweet home win😭😭

Capsule

Moving , flower evil or iteawon class please 🙏

Moon

You're welcome! I can't believe it's not on dramacool anymore, but stuff drops from there all the time because- well I assume legality. I think you can still find it if you know where to look. Yeah that's something I wonder too, bc according to the site it's not going to be available after next year from there past the initial airing date. No wonder it's been recommended so much since it came out.

Mikkeai8908

Yeah, i think the series is really good. It would’ve been cool had they released it when all the members of BTS were not in enlistment. It would’ve been great too for them to have a chance to add anything to the storyline as well if they were to do another season.

Kelllogg

I hope you watch "Culinary Class Wars" separately. It's currently airing in season 2, so I recommend you watch it now from season 1.

Kelllogg

It's a variety show, so don't classify it as a k-drama, and I hope you can add this and watch it now.

reignyoma

best shows on this list : 1) Twenty five twenty one 2) itaewon class 3) twinkling watermelon 4) flower of evil Take into consideration the following shows too : Mouse Our blues Fight for my way
