I think "Anarcho-primitivism" is the ideology you were talking about. Basically, reject society, return to monkey.

Damn you guys are so smart for coming up with so many questions, I just wanna say write them down and see how many you got, you cannot go wrong with anything because as you've seen the thinking is very step by step so you'll probably see where things are going. I'm so glad you guys are reacting to this. It also does put up a lot of questions that are like relatable with philosophy. UGH I can't wait for next week

I wish these came out faster but I know you are stacked. I think it’s one of the most interesting concepts for an anime . Much love from Sweden :)

Haha, loved the pinky promise. I'm excited to see how you guys like the soundtrack as the show goes on. Tsukasa's got a point but I would go differently about it. I'd first build a better system of society or attempt it at least and then reintegrate for example the older folks back into an already existing system. I mean they are petrified, they are not going away, are they?

I NEED MORE AGGHHHHHH

12:48 "I think we woke up the right guy." About that...

Eureka

Its so amazing when you look at 18:45 how senku started his plan already he is truly a genius

RCG

Tsukasa reminds me of the “1 gorilla vs. 100 men” thing but he flips it around: 1 Tsukasa vs. 100 gorillas. Honestly, I’d bet on Tsukasa.

Loved the pinky promise haha. Please do your best to avoid spoilers! See you next week guys thanks

Monkey is diabolical

Hmm okay he doesn’t wanna wake the grown ups, but what about the teenagers who already have an adult mindset from the way they grew up? Those teens that he revives could start that type of civilization back too!

I know in theory how to butcher a pig, since I’ve helped with it many times, but I’m not sure I could actually kill one—unless I were really hungry 😂 18:20 Here, we dry fish in a similar way: we gut them, rub them with salt, and hang them on a rope under a roof outside—preferably in the sun—for at least a few weeks.

It's episode 2, and you guys already have a more thorough and nuanced understanding of Tsukasa's ideology than many people ever have. It's something I always appreciate about your reactions, but it really stood out here! Also I loved hearing Steph spitball about the consequences of so much time on Earth passing at the start of the episode. Dr. Stone absolutely rewards this kind of thinking, so feel free to share any more random ideas that occur!

Because teenagers famously like to fall rank and file into whatever society has in mind 😅 I'm sure not every teen would be on board! But I think teens in general would be far more open to change than adults in their 30s and older.

you mention them hanging up fish rly high to dry them and keep them away from bugs-- people everywhere (where applicable) did this! especially with bread and wheat and other grains bcuz bugs loveddd infesting them, and having them high against the wind also kept them dry for longer cuz moist bread is bread with a very short life span

Holy Arathi

So I quickly looked up uses for sodium carbonate and it does indeed work for everything that he said, but if you can make cleaning chemicals from it you could effectively make poison or potentially for explosives.
