If it looks like Maki but she's got short hair and no burns then it's Mai. Maki always kept her hair long, she just got burned up after Shibuya

All images who looked like painting are all bases on famous painting, Kenjaku hugging baby Yuji is Egon Shiele's "Dead mother" (The symbolic are so peak). Baby Mai and Maki is based on "Two Sleeping Children", AND YOU WHERE RIGHT, Yaga and panda is based on a Claude Monnet's. Same for Maki mother screaming, it was indeed based on "The scream" And my favorite that you guys missed was Yuta kissing the cockroach based on "The kiss" by gustav Klint, one of my favorite paintings, it had me laughing so hard XD.

This could be a new thing for you guys to do after every season make a additional video about OP & ED, instead of us posting comments like : "Hey you can watch the OP/ED now." I know there are some shows you guys never watched the openings and endings as well so it'll be cool to go back and give your opinion.

Yaaaay! We get an exclusive opening reaction 🥹 Is it already Christmas?! That's like a present! Just an idea: Would you maybe enjoy the opening more if you'd first watch the whole thing and then watch again to stop it and look for whatever you wanted to look at? Cause I have the experience that when I interrupt my experience of something it's different compared to when you just relax, sit back and take it in. I'm sure we as your audience wouldn't mind if you're not commenting all the time and just take stuff in that we also loved to experience. Another anime reactor, Drumrolltony, does music reactions too (he's a music director) and he listens to a song sometimes several times, pauses, goes back and so on. And when a song is really good, it can be a long video... soooo... I didn't mind this video being 15 minutes long... tbh... it was kinda short with all what you've had to share... I would have loved to keep listening to you guys and experience the opening a second time with you. What do you guys think?

As someone that’s watched anime my whole life & has a lot of older stuff I’ve watched… I feel like the average quality of openings in general have gone up a lot. Even a lot of otherwise bad or mediocre shows these last few years have openings that are very memorable or artsy, I love it! This one was great, lot packed into it!

It's the point, the opening is to pull you in, then you watch the anime, thats most of the time opening even for mid or ugly anime have S tier animation. (Ps: I hope you aren't talking about domestic girlfriend, it's so peak)

I love domestic girlfriend - one of my favorite manga, but also has one of the best OPs, haha. Rather than polarizing big name shows though, more so meant there’s more seasonal shows that most of us will never hear of again, but they have a banger OP song or solid OP visuals. Am sure that’s an aspect animators / directors take a lot of pride in as it triples as an advertisement for the show, a portion of runtime that’s seen every episode, and an artistic project all its own where they can really let some of the talents on the team behind it shine.
